Rebecca Carver had been a black smith's daughter she knew how to fight, could fend for herself. But when both her parents died she was forced to grow up, take care of her father's business. The young blacksmith dreamed of being a pirate she read about them in books, wanted to live on the open seas. Rebecca stood at about 5'6'' 5'7'', weighed around 120-134 she was petite for her age. She didn't dress like most girls her age she preferred to wear pants instead of dresses, she'd never worn a corset in her life. Her hair wasn't a very attractive color it was kind of a dish water blond, she always wore it up in a bun.

Her black pants were tucked into her boots, her shirt was tucked into her pants except it was a very flattering blouse. She was working on a sword for a pirate, hoped he would be by to pick it up soon because she was almost finished with her work. As time went by she started to sweat but she continued to work on the sword because she wanted it to be perfect, she was hoping that she would be able to leave the barn in order to pursue her dream as a pirate.

A young hotshot pirate approached. A bit of a quirky man, with long brown braided hair with all sorts of beads and bones in it. His face was full of hair, a mustache and a long braided beard. He had an almost regal look to him if you looked deep in his eyes. Like he'd chosen this life despite an upbringing of wealth. Perhaps he had family issues.

"I'm here for my sword..." He told her.

'' Of course.'' Rebecca said as she smiled a little then handed him his brand new sword, she hoped he liked it. She had done her best to fix it the way he wanted it, when she gave him the once over her heart melted he was a beautiful man. Bringing herself back to reality she tried to come up with the amount it would cost him, sighed as she placed a strand of hair behind her ear. '' That will be 75 pieces of silver.'' She said as she held out her hand, waited for her payment she didn't expect him to have all the money but she hoped he would at least have some of it. Her mind was wondering, she really wanted to ask him if she could join him on the open sea but she expected him to say no.

He walked over, picking up the sword and examining her handy work. He grinned, showing his somewhat rotting teeth, one of which was covered in gold. "Well um...you see... I wasn't really planning on paying..." He told her with a sheepish grin. "But I'm sure there's some other way I could make it up to you, darling." He told her, as he gave it a few practice swings.

'' I see.. If you knew how many hours of sleep I lost, how many meals I missed just so I could fix your sword you would clearly pay up. But.. what did you have in mind? '' Rebecca asked as she rolled her eyes she wasn't at all impressed by his looks, really hoped he didn't think she was weak. The young woman could clearly take him in any battle, she watched him swing his sword rolling her eyes once again. She knew her way around a sword, she knew plenty of combat techniques to handle herself if put in a bad situation.
