"No honey as far as I'm concerned you've done nothing wrong. I'll talk to the teacher later. Love you too. See you when I'm off work." Samantha Rainer shut her phone with a smile and brushed back her hair, looking closely at a number of reports she was required to analyze. She was wearing a well tailored red suit consisting of a business skirt which reached her knees, and a jacket over her white blouse. Generally speaking she was one of the most attractive women in her office, and got a lot of attention from her male counterparts. Because of this she'd been forced to take a very professional approach to fashion to avoid any missunderstandings. The reports were on the activities and practices of a rival research and development firm that had been experimenting with some possibly groundbreaking new methods of...
"Everyone turn on the news!" Sam looked up, partially thankful for the distraction. Some of her co-workers were starting to gather around desks with TVs and monitors with news feeds. Sam opened a page and brought up a news site. The first thing she found was a streaming feed from a live news team. The reporter, a famous face, Selina Takahata, was talking on the move.
"Its been verified! I've seen it myself and I still can't believe it. Strange creatures have begun attacking the city! Wait!" Takahata held her camera-woman back and they peaked around a corner.
"Holy crap! What is that thing?" Someone in her office exclaimed. Sam didn't listen, she was awestruck by the sight. A female police officer was bent over the hood of her car, as a large red creature, all muscle and sinew, slammed into her over and over. She called out and whimpered with each thrust, meanwhile Selina moved the camera away.
"If anyone is still watching...s...please stay in your homes! These creatures seem to be drawn to females, and will kill men on sight. Please...oh damn it no!" The camera seemed to flip around before resting on the ground. The camera woman's face was being pinned to the ground right in front of the camera by a large blue, clawed hand. The sound of tearing fabric could be heard over the feed, and she struggled before it became obvious what was being done to here. Even Selina, who tried to kick her way free of a set of thick green tentacles, was overpowered, and with no one to turn away the camera, the two were raped right there on screen. Samantha turned the screen off and shot out of her office, grabbing her bag as she moved, kicking off her heels.
"Wait Sam!" One of her friends, Julie tried to stop her. But Sam shrugged her off and kept moving.
"My daughters are out there! I'm not staying inside unless I know they are safe!" This whole situation was absurd, like something she'd seen in a movie. But she didn't have time to question it. Her daughters were in danger. She tried to call her girls, but her cell had lost receptions. "Damn it!" She cursed and headed for the elevator, only to be stopped by a scratching sound coming from above.
"The fuck is that?!" One of her other coworkers yelled. It was very loud, and was coming from the vents. It sounded like they were flooded with rodents....or some other kind of vermin. She mashed the button on the elevator, but it was still several floors away. So when several ceiling panels burst down, she didn't wait to see what came out. She went for the stairs and started running down two steps at a time. This was insane, but she couldn't stop to think of what was going to happen to her friends.
