The plan was ambitious, the arrangements were mostly done and Edward Miller was sure that his biggest project to date would see the light of success and take things in a completely new and wild direction. Edward had a gift of passion and his works so far had been varied and successful in cliche domains. A son of a rich father he have had the funds to support his career of choice by dints of family fortune until he took off reasonably. And now he had quite a few of his older more discrete clients among his investors and he could afford to take on such a big risky venture.
He had most often used his home office for casting and audition before but he had never worked this big or had such renowned actors, actresses working for him before. So he had to arrange things in this office. This new office was decorated like his home expensive but simple and tastefully decorated. On one end was the huge oak desk and his seat behind it. Only two chairs in the front. But Edward loved to talk over on a side where a pair of large comfortable leather couches sat face to face. The rest of the room was mostly open except for ankle deep luxurious rug. The few decorations spoke money and class, perfect for the purpose of this office. Most importantly the audio visuals were through and well hid.
The man himself was a curious one. Nearly at 40, he wasn't classically handsome and not singularly ugly. He might not be a well known face in the widest hollywood circle but he had dealings with enough high rollers over the years to have that confidence in his ability and being comfortable in his skin. And that confidence was what had let him start his current project and moved it so far on its way despite the outrageous nature of it and would be essential in pushing the casting forward.
Dressed in a casual slacks and shirts he waited in his desk, leafing through the plans and profiles as he waited for the next meeting. His voice was steady even as anticipation caught up with him as his secretary informed him that the lady was here. He stood up, coming around the desk, he was halfway to the door when it opened and his secretary ushered the beautiful and elegant Ms. Nicole Kidman inside.
"Hello, Ms. Nicole", he smile at her, offering her his hand as the secretary left silently closing the door behind her. Edward was ready to guide her to the couch and start the interesting and hopefully long discussion.
