You may call me evil. Perhaps I will entrust you with my personal details should we become buddies but I prefer anonymity in the forum setting. I'm new to the site but certainly not new to roleplaying. I am selective about my partners and have been searching for a good adult forum for a while. I'm hoping to set up shop here!

1. Evil's Modus Operandi
Let me begin by saying that my characters are my creative outlet and my passion. As such, plot takes immediate precedence over smut, but that's not to say I won't indulge some good ol' fashioned pwp. In fact there are days I prefer it. If a sex-only relationship plays realistically into the plot we agree upon, then by all means, pwp me.

As I mentioned above, I am exceedingly picky about partners; I have very specific criteria in mind. If you respond to this thread and I don't get back to you, I'm just not interested. Don't take it personally! I'm sure you're a fantastic writer but I have an unfortunate shortage of free time. As such, I'm only looking for a select few individuals to sate my cravings.

Bear in mind that I am not merely looking for rp partners, here. I want to engage people I can become friends with, discuss plots with, and develop worlds alongside. I want to enjoy talking to you as much as your characters!

I will only do modern realistic settings. NO FANTASY. I'm simply too left-brained. Unicorns and werewolves and vampires give me gas.

I do not roleplay anything outside of my original characters. Sorry.
maybe MAYBE i can be persuaded to use old vampire characters but that is highly unlikely​

2. Character Profiles​

There are three characters I want to use right now. I only roleplay in pursuit of establishing deep and meaningful connections between characters and, as such, compatibility is tantamount. I firmly believe that plots should be built around characters and not the other way around. I am not one of those "make it up as you go" types. I am intimately familiar with my characters as people and I know how they would react in any circumstance. I expect this same attention to detail in a partner.

All of my boys are from skid row, South Central Los Angeles. They were born and raised there; the rugged, intractable spirit of the place shaped them as people. I am happy to remove them from this setting should you have a better alternative but I prefer to base the story there. If you need any background information about the location I am happy to provide it.

It is inevitable in the course of our rp that you should encounter more than one of these people as their lives are closely intertwined, particularly in the cases of Nathan and Jay.

I'm only going to post a synopsis of each character here. Don't feel at all pressured to select one - I just wanted to give you a general feel for whom you will be dealing with.

Nathaniel Avery Rodriguez

Name: Nathaniel Avery Rodriguez, Nathan
Age: 20
Race: White, small part Hispanic
Current Residence: He lives with Jay in a very cushy apartment in downtown Los Angeles.
Occupation: Nathan is a musical prodigy. He has never received any tutelage excepting being taught to play the piano by his mother. He has a gift for composing that he himself has not fully realized. He works for a very high-profile club in downtown LA as a DJ and is a bit of a local legend.
Talents/Skills: He plays the piano beautifully, can breakdance enough to look like the cool guy in the club, and skateboards quite well.
Birth order: He is the third of five children.
Siblings: He has an older sister, Tracy, an older brother, Trevor, and two younger twin brothers named Danny and Cody.
Orientation: Bisexual
Significant Others: Jay is his unofficial boyfriend although they are very much an item. It is assumed they are monogamous by everyone who knows them because they act monogamous for the most part. However, they have an agreement in place that either of them can sleep with whomever they like so long as nothing emotional is involved.
Relationship strengths/weaknesses: Nathan is one of those people who is dangerously easy to love. He emanates an immutable happiness that is absolutely infectious; he can bring a smile to anyone's face even on his worst days with his sharp wit. He's young, gorgeous, talented, intelligent, rich, and seemingly leaves nothing to be desired. He's also unfailingly compassionate and kind - you'll never catch him in a bad temper. On the surface, he is the image of the perfect boyfriend. Unfortunately, Nathan's weaknesses in a relationship far outnumber his strengths. Beneath the surface, he is dreadfully disloyal, he has a propensity for lying, he's as unpredictable and whimsy as the wind, and he is very naive and easily led astray by strong personalities. He will do anything to win the affections of others which often makes him a victim of peer pressure. Put simply, he's a dumb kid who has yet to mature into emotional stability.

Jayden Cole Verano

Name: Jayden Cole Verano, Jay, Jay-Z, Jayberry Lee
Age: 21
Race: White
Current Residence: He lives with Nathan in a very cushy apartment in downtown Los Angeles.
Occupation: On the weekends, Jay makes a killing pursuing the honorable profession of working as a performer at a cabaret bar. Performing is where his passion lies. During the week, however, he spends his time snorting and selling inordinate amounts of cocaine. Jay attended art school on the goodwill of his parents not for a degree, but to amass a customer base that spans the entire state of California. This mixture of professions has him sitting atop a pretty fortune.
Talents/Skills: Although Jay cannot sing a lick, he lip syncs flawlessly, which works to his advantage as he performs as a drag queen at the cabaret. He makes a lovely woman. He also has a fabulous sense of style and is the proud owner of two gender-specific wardrobes that are equally fashionable. He is also one of the best CoD players in the nation.
Birth order: He is an only child of very well-to-do parents.
Siblings: None.
Orientation: Homosexual
Significant Others: Nathan is his boyfriend. Although they are not monogamous, he feels wholly entitled to Nathan and one day wants to marry him to force him into commitment. Sadly, their relationship is quite one-sided, but he loves him too much to move on.
Relationship strengths/weaknesses: Although Jay can come off as a bit of a brat to most everyone, he is a doggedly loyal friend and lover. As much as he sleeps around, he wants someone to commit to whom he can safely settle down with. Like Nathan, Jay is coasting in the prime of his life: he's young, gorgeous, and rolling in cash. Jay believes himself to be infallible and, for the most part, he's right. However, he struggles with bipolar disorder which he self-medicates with a severe addiction to cocaine. When he runs out of drugs, he experiences terrifying mood swings and may even become violent. He has a dark, morbidly funny sense of humor that a select few enjoy immensely, but makes most people uneasy.

Trevor Soren Rodriguez

Jay lives the lifestyle Trevor lived six years ago but not nearly to the same extent. Trevor imported more drugs from Mexico than your average person can feasibly comprehend and he was a stone cold gangster. He even killed several people without batting an eye. But now, two years shy of thirty? He has recently been discharged from prison after a four-year sentence and he does not want to return to his old ways. Problem is, that's all that he knows: money and drugs and girls and guns.

Trevor is an enigma even to himself at present. For the most part, he's given up. He's lost his direction in life and he needs something or someone to inspire him to try a more honorable way of living.

I am going to make two separate entries for this next character because I am interested in using him during two different times in his life.

Age: 28
Race: White, small part Hispanic
Current Residence: He lives in a small, homely apartment in Fairfield, CA.
Occupation: Following his discharge from prison, Trevor managed to find a good job working as an auto mechanic/repairman for a man his father was close friends with.
Talents/Skills: Trevor is a tinkerer. He loves anything he can disassemble and reassemble. He's a whiz with cars (anything electrical, really) and is by far the best mechanic at his place of employment. He also builds model cars and planes in his spare time.
Birth order: He is the second of five children.
Siblings: He has an older sister, Tracy, a younger brother, Nathan, and two younger twin brothers named Danny and Cody.
Orientation: Bi-curious but outwardly rigidly heterosexual.
Significant Others: Samantha on and off but, for the most part, none.

5. Expectations​

Let me begin by saying that I am a flaming grammar nazi. There is nothing more upsetting to me than being deeply immersed in a story and suddenly stumbling across a misspelled word. It's distracting and irritating. Of course I'm not going to sweat the occasional minor error, but if it becomes reoccurring, I'm going to say something. Please, if you do not have basic mastery of the English language, do not waste my time.

I like writing with substance. I devote at least half of every post to my characters' thoughts and feelings. If you habitually send me three paragraphs of scenery and obvious mindless filler, I'm going to lose interest.

Please, if you have plot ideas, DISCUSS THEM WITH ME BEFOREHAND! That way we both have a clear idea of where the rp is going so neither of us becomes discouraged or have other plot ideas foiled. Although I'm evil (and devastatingly punny) I'm quite approachable. I actually like to carry on an ooc conversation between posts. As I said above, I aim to make friends of my rp partners. I'm always interested to hear about your day/things going on in your life not only because I'm fond of you, but because your outlook influences your character's actions.

And that concludes my request thread. This feels like a lame outro.
