Upon hearing the rumors that creatures of the night really did exists inside the city, Drake wasn't really able to believe such things. Sure he did like horror movies and all those things that went bump in the night, but to him they were just fictional characters thought up by real life people. To him the thought of real creatures like them ever existing was just something only children would believe in. But nothing was ever as it once seemed, quoting from a great man in history 'once you have eliminated the impossible, no matter how improbable it may, what remains most surely be the truth' great words by a great man.
Though they were words by a fictional character, the man he thought up said character was the one who told those words threw his creations mouth. Drake wanted to become a detective when he was older or at least when he could done with school, which wouldn't be for a couple of years. Though he was eighteen, he was only a couple of months away from finishing high school and then he was going on to college to attend classes so that he could become a great detective someday in his life. But those were things for further into the future, all he wanted to do was focus on the present as it was and not a future that could possibly never be. Once coming towards a tall building that resembled that of a newspaper building, he could see the bright lights from the center of the city not long away from the position he was standing in at the crosswalk.
Pushing a strang of hair out of his face, he took the first step forward onto the crosswalk that would bring him into the truth about the world, a truth most would never learn or believe even if they had saw it with their own eyes. While walking forward, he bumped into a man with his arm around a woman, a clear sigh of them being a couple or at least going home with one another. The man would curse, making it clear he had one to many drinks not long ago and upon seeing Drake the man would go on to call him names that was meant to insult his gender and imply he was more suited to being female. But the man was drunk and Drake didn't look like many guys. He had long brown hair that he kept the back in a short pony tail at the middle of his head, which would go down only a little by a couple of inches. The front side of his face was covered a bit by a few long bangs, though only by two, maybe three inches long at best.
Drake stood roughly around five eleven and even though he didn't show it, he did weight around one hundred-fifty pounds. Looking at him he was wearing a dark button up shirt with long sleeves that reached to his wrists, with a pair of brownish gray pants on that reached to his ankle's. Under his shirt though was a short sleeved red shirt with a wolf on it, the wolf being black and baring it's fangs. Under his pants were a pair of boxers like most guys wore, but the boxers he had on were a pair that were covered in little red hearts and the boxers themselves were pink, something he'd never live down if anyone ever panted him for sure. With that done the man would spot the shoes he was wearing, a pair of white shoes that had a cross on each side of them or a plus sign, the drunk man couldn't tell really. But soon enough he was on his way, making one last remark about Drake's eye's being dark green, the color of jealousy and saying he was a jealous the man had a woman and Drake didn't.
Well Drake just kept walking really, going to say sorry he bumped into the man but instead he was just sorry he even ran into the guy in the first place. After what seemed like half an hour he was finally in the center of the city and going by what the rumors said, he looked for the darkest place in the center of the city. Though that was a feat that wasn't easy at all, but he finally found it after he saw a couple coming out of an alleyway looking all messy half drooling. The two looked more like they had just gotten their brains sucked out, but instead of chosing the wiser thing and just turning back he went ahead into the dark alleyway and kept walking. Once he had made a few turns, mostly following the trail of drool from the couple he ended up spending about fifteen minutes walking around until he came to a dark place with small steps leading up to a door, with a sign that said in bright red letters ENTER. Seeing as how the place he was in was pretty much pitch black save for the sigh and the lights from the city over head, he decided he was in the right place and after walking up the steps, entered the strange place.
