It wasn't as if any of Shinkoami's victims really had a choice. And some of them, including her current prey, were unfortunate enough to be fully aware of it. But Adonis, golden eyes weary and slightly irritated as he finally returned home, was never to know when or where his fiance's sister would choose to corner him. Particularly when she was indirect about it. After hours of arguing with a rather uncooperative insurance agent that was trying to deny payment for some damages to his car... he wasn't expecting the candles and petals left in their staircase. Shinka had never tried to romance him, after all... How was he to know it wasn't a gesture from his smaller beloved?
His boots were left at the door, and Adonis didn't bother to turn on any of the lights as he followed the flickering flames up the stairs. Past his partner's room...? That was unusual, and he wondered about that for a moment. It didn't raise any suspicion, though, and he entered his room without wariness. "Ala?" he spoke quietly, curiously as he reached to flick on his own light.
He rather quickly regretted the move as light revealed, not his fiance, but the boy's sister. Stretched out on his bed! Without thinking, he stepped back, tense, an uneasy growl escaping him. Everything about the situation rather suddenly seemed... dangerous. Trouble was never far behind when Shinka deigned to approach him.
