The day started out like any other, it was mostly uneventful there were a few wild encounters as well as a few trainer battles but other then that normal. It had been a good year or so sense Salim had set out on his journey, he was your run of the mill Pokemon trainer. He had already been around the country side and had collected the badges needed to participate in the tournament held yearly for all trainers who have proved there metal out in the world. Salim was no different from those trainers except for maybe the fact that threw out all his training, battles and travels he had yet to have his very first Pokemon reach her peak stage. It was queer to say the least that a creature as strong as she was seemed unable to evolve to her next stage it was a growing annoyance in the would be trainers mind.
"I just don't understand it..." Salim sighed aloud as he looked beside himself and the rather happy looking Charmelon that trotted alongside him. "I mean do you get it because I dont.." He continued to ramble running all the thoughts he could threw his head, "I don't blame you for it of course." Salim quickly was resembling once again the broken record of sorts, he knew the topic he spoke on was a bit of a sore subject but then again what els was he able to do about it save for bitching. "Look, im sorry I brought it up again, but when you can tank ten other Pokemon most of them water types in less then fifteen minutes one would think you would have evolved by now..."
The frustrated trainer gave another sigh and continued to walk forward completely unaware of what was fact approaching in a unseen venture. Salim himself was also a strange individual in appearance as well as in personality. He was of average height about five foot nine inches and weighed around one hundred and seventy five pounds, he had a solid build to him and resembled most a Machoke only mini sized. He chin and upper lip was covered in a thick brown goatee, he had a set of sapphire colored eyes and a pair of square shaped glasses that sat a little to far down on his nose. His hair was a shaggy brown and spike, all in all he looked like a strangely muscular nerd which in fact he was.
The walk continued uninterrupted until Salim found himself falling forward, his foot had caught on something and it sent the young adult crashing to the rocky road with a sickening thud. This wasn't the first time he had ever fallen over nor would it be the last, what surprised the trainer more then anything els was the fact he had tripped over something so strange looking poking out of the middle of the road. He quickly rolled over and sat up shaking the dizziness from his head to stare at a oddly shaped stone sticking out of the road. "I wonder what this could be...?"
