Drea DiAngelo was a tall, slim redhead with bright green-blue eyes that seemed to be full of tears. Most days she wasn't shaky but most days she hadn't seen a crime, and a death. Today she had. That was what had her shaken up and what had ended with her in this room, being questioned. She had flinched when the male cop came closer, half-expecting to be slapped. One of her blue-green eyes was ringed by a nasty black eye, one given her by her ex-husband. Now she sat looking at the male cop and wondering if she'd ever leave the station. Her fear was plain to see as she kept shifting in her seat, her long brown skirt and blue shirt rumpled from her tumble to the floor. Tears came now and she hid her face, crying softly.

"I... don't know... I'm sorry."

"Understandable....you were going about your daily routine when you were dragged into a world your not a part of. No ones expecting crystal clear fully detailed recolections.....Just do your best and tell me what you can."

Drea bit her lip shyly as she thought, unaware of what she was doing until she felt a small pain, stopping then sighing. "I... I was coming out of the bank." She paused then swallowed. "He was across the street... I... didn't see much, just the woman fall and the man shoot her... I didn't see his face... it was all over so fast."

*Ley noted this down in his notebook, to have somethinga longside the tape recording to look back on.*

"hmmhmmm I see miss."

"Think back there may be other things you saw but don't realise you did."

Drea sighed softly, letting herself relax. "The gun... I think I know what make... at least, the caliber... .44... a cop's gun... or a gang member's"

"My ex-husband." The reply was soft, the woman indicating her bruised eye. "He hated women of power... he probably still does."

*Ley shuck his head.*

"Sad that there are still men who can't stand to see women as equals. Its a double shame I think you'd have made a great cop.. You've got a good head and eye for details....would have liked to have partnered with you."

*Ley raised and eyebrow at her choice of phrase for her last words.*

"I think I'd like that."

*he said quietly*

"You certainly have potenshail that should be explored."

*Ley responce was to switch of the tape recorder and put his note book away.*

"I think Miss DiAngelo, that you've ansrewed all the questions we have for you at the moment...thank you for your co-operation."

"I can arrange transport to take you home...."

*he looked at her and smiled.*

"But it'll be a while possible two hours....we're rather short staffed...So how you wish to spend that time....is entierly up to you."

*Ley smiled*

"I was assinged to this case and par tof my dutie is to see you are well seen to....I meen well taken care of."

"I promise"

*Ley agreed, then smirked*

"So want to see if you can still handle a Police "weapon"?"

*he asked with a wink.*
