Connor Emory wasn't necessarily an odd ball. He was just... not the average high schooler. He was smart, probably the smartest in all the school.Connor was in an advanced education program at school known as the International Baccalaureate program. It required more work and had a more tailored curriculum that was independent from the public school system. Now... what to do? He was thinking about popping in a video game, but then he remembered what was in his backpack. That wasn't what made him so different from the others of the school. Connor had an affiliation for the exceptionally nerdy. Whether it was comics, movies, books, anime, he loved it. That was what put him on a different plane than all the others. It had casued him nothing but trouble for the past two years. It was constant ridicule, jokes and pranks. He put up with it since these simpletons would be going nowhere once school was done while he would move on to the higher level of education and then on to making changes in the world to make things better than they already were.
Until that time came, he would have to put up with these people for now. Though someone who was becoming intolerable was his pre-calculus teacher. It was like she could barely pat attention in class herself. Most of the time she was at her desk dazing off with her cheeks turning red, or she was nose deep in a book that none of the other students could see. He was curious as to what it was that kept her attention away from her students, so one day he waited after school until she was gone from her classroom and snuck in. He immediatley went to her desk and began to dig through it to see what was so appealing to her. What he found gave him a simple idea that brought an evil grin to his face.
He took a few of the items from her desk and snuck back out without anyone seeing him. Connor then went home to plan his fun.
The next day he waited until after class to talk to her, feigning interest in an extra credit assignment, but had other things in mind.
