Connor wasn't necessarily an odd ball. He was just... not the average high schooler. He was smart, probably the smartest in all the school. That wasn't what made him so different from the others of the school. Connor had an affiliation for the exceptionally nerdy. Whether it was comics, movies, books, anime, he loved it. That was what put him on a different plane than all the others. It had casued him nothing but trouble for the past two years. It was constant ridicule, jokes and pranks. He put up with it since these simpletons would be going nowhere once school was done while he would move on to the higher level of education and then on to making changes in the world to make things better than they already were.
Though until then he would have to put up with the simpletons, and even some of the teachers at the school. For instance, his calculus teacher was starting to get unbearable. Even with the teachers book right in front of her she got some of the problems wrong. Something wasn't right about her. So after another day of constantly correcting her he had enough and decided to do a little checking up on her. After school, Connor went to the office and used his nice boy charm to get past the front desk and into the teachers files. He found hers and found her teaching certificate and had a gut feeling about it.
When he got home he decided to dig further and called the university the degree is from and pretended to be some one from the schools administration trying to check up on their teachers credibility. Then the most interesting thing happened. The woman on the phone could find no record of her completing the necessary courses to get the degree. In fact they could find no record of her enrolled at the university. Oh this was good...
The next day he stayed after class, feiging interest in an extra credit assignment.
