Ah what a warm day it was for Scales the dragon. The sun was out and bright as life itself. It brought a amazing feeling to his large body as he laid on top of a giant stone in a high peak watching the landscape. A dragon had often needed to take a break from hunting and flying just to enjoy peace in his or her life. But of course, Scales was not one to shy away from company whether a possible mate or a enemy for him to kill. What else did a dragon have to pass the time?

Of course, dragons typically made good work of the time they had even when just staying out in the sun. Like using their keen eye slight upon the landscape to spot a possible future lunch.

(Nothing 'large'... Maybe I need to 'scout' in another area...) he thought letting out a dragon yawn while he stretched his LARGE red scaly body.

As a young Knight she was ordered to take on a thread close to the castle. She had experience.. actually she was one of the Kings best knights.. however, only once verse an adult dragon? Suicide.

Sylvia walked through the forest towards the mountain where the large scaly red beast laid sunbathing. She was sure he would notice her and her sword was yer to be out but she continued to move alone feeling as if she wanted to turn tail and go else where she knew this was horrible but at least she can rely her armor to maybe protect her from some burns? Or at least die faster from being heated like a metal pot under the armor. It would be useless but she still needed to try and prove herself to her king.

She sighed lowly and readied her armored helm so it covered most of her face even her eyes to try and protect them and she used her senses mostly to fight and could even fight blindfolded if she needed to. Her long red hair followed after her figure as she drew her long blade.

Scales caught the scent.

(Human?) he thought as he scouted the land. Realizing that there was a human nearby, he patiently waited. After all, what was a human to do to a mighty beast like him? He had no particular enemies nor was there any aggressive relationship with any other race. But maybe she was here for something better?

He waited as the human came closer wondering what gender it was purely just out of wonder. For the sake of it, he hoped that it wasn't because one was trying to SLAY him.

Sylvia sighed to herself as she continued forward noticing him there.. not like she could actually get up there. A look of annoyance filled her eyes before she went by a tree and leans against it and sat there. Risking your life to kill a damned dragon, made since didn't it? Her eyes close as she listened to the wind. Even smarter if she was stupid enough to climb a mountain - visual of her armor being to heavy and falling to her death before even attacking him came to mind.

He blinked as he realized her situation. He chuckled as he laid on his back. What would he do? Would he save her the trouble by approaching her? Should he? Maybe, it depended as he stretched and flew into the air disappearing in the sun. Looking at where the knight was, he gently glided towards where she was where he hovered in a view that she couldn't spot at a certain angle.

(So it IS female) he confirmed the scent.

Sylvia sat there still however her hearing was well and she stood and unsheathes her sword and her head turned his way before she lifted her leg and pulled a dagger that was hidden and waited for the wind to be right before she threw it at him.. strong enough to pierce through the dragons scales since she was given weapons for the death of one before she left the castle.

However, how it would make contact with him was different than 'piecing'; he turned his head where he caught it with his dragon teeth and looked at her with his tail gently slowshing gently.

He flew down right in front of her in a respective distance as he gently released the blade from his teeth fangs feeling a bit numb. "Poison?" he asked as he causally walked towards her.
