The sky was riddled with dark clouds, as a cold, damp fog filled the streets. The only sounds being that of the foot steps made by one lone boy. A young man, in his teens, about 18 years of age. Strong, healthy. He was tall, and fit. He sometimes joked that he couldn't gain fat even if he tried. He had long, untamed hair. He has blue eyes, and wore a pair of round glasses. He was a intimidating person, but distant. Just like the distance within this fog, he preferred to be unseen. Unnoticed. And, if he was, it was not good attention. It was either a fight, or a screaming match with a teacher. Other people looked down on him. Delinquent they call him. A good for nothing... There are the few he can say don't look down on him, or pity him. But he couldn't exactly call them friends. More like, the weird father, and the follower. And speaking of followers....

"Katsuo!" A voice said from behind. The boy turned around, and starred off at the distance. Slowly he can make out who it was... "Stop following me, you stalker." Katsuo said coldly, as he turned around. He began to walk back down the road, ignoring the girl whom was sprinting after him. "But Katsuo! Its me, Akira!" The girl screamed, without missing a beat. "I know, thats why I said get lost." Katsuo retorted. She made her way to him. Wrapping her arm around his, walking at his side. "Why must you always walk home with me..." Katsuo asked, with a exasperated sigh. "Because I insist!" She then gripped around his arm tighter. Like a constrictor whom catches there prey. Her name was Akira, that so called follower mentioned before. She is his neighbor, and has been inseparable from him since they were 8 years old. It used to be that she bullied him, Kept his self esteem way low. This was of course before he matured into the punk he is now. She probably would still despise him, or at least pretend to, if it wasn't for that day.....

Katsuo continued to begrudgingly walk with her to his house. She rest's her head on his shoulder, slowly humming as they walked along. He looked down at her. Looking at her as she clung to him like a little sister he never had. She was short. Her head only reached his shoulder. She had red, flowing hair. And great big brown eyes, that made the cutest puppy dog eyes... He didn't hate her. In fact, Katsuo found her rather cute and funny. Even if she always pestered him. He just never understood her, or her feelings towards him. soon, they came along their houses. "OK, time to unglue yourself to me, and let me go home." Katsuo said, as he pulled his arm away. "Oh.. I was just about ready to sleep on your shoulder." She said, as she pouted all the way to her house. Just before walking inside, she turned around, and with a great big smile... "Happy birthday Katsuo." And then she was gone. That made Katsuo smile just a bit, but he would never let her know that. He then turned back to his house, and walked inside.

"Hey, old man! Im home." Katsuo shouted as he tossed his book bag to the side of the front door. "Welcome home sun, How was school?" His father asked, as he walked out in a pink apron. A pot full of dough in one hand, and a spoon in the other. "....What the hell are you wearing?" Katsuo asked with frustration. "Oh, I thought i would make you a birthday cake." His father answered, as he tugged on the apron a bit. "I bought this today in case i made a mess. I didn't want to wear the cake all over me." Katsuo gritted his teeth at his father. "Your such a idiot. I mean, seriously. Dont sacrifice your man card so you can play mom and dad. I mean.. Really, who was the man in the relationship. You, or mom?" Most dads would get angry, and curse back at their disrespectful son. But, he just shrugged it off, and answered honestly. "Your mom was the man in our relationship." He then turned around and walked back into the kitchen. mixing the dough all the way back. Katsuo was shocked. "Why did i even ask.." He said as he shook his head.

Katsuo then made his way up to his room. He threw his tie into the corner of the room, as he unbuttoned his shirt. He walked over to his dresser. Pulling out a fresh pair of clothes. Then taking them into the bathroom. " A hot shower is what i need... To calm my nerves." He said. As he took off his pants. He walked into the shower, and began to stand there, as he let the hot water hit his skin.. He began to scrub himself off slowly. Cleaning off all the dirt and grime from his full day. But also taking the chance of peace and quiet. So he could reflect on things. Life wasn't easy for him. He grew up without a mother, And with a sham of a father. He never knew who she was.. What she did.. Not even a single thing about her. All he can get out of his sad, lonely father was her name. Lilith. The fate of his mother has eaten always eaten away at him. Was it really his fault, no. But did he blame himself, yes. Just because he was an infant, did not change the fact that she died bringing him into the world. And what a sad lesson, for a child to learn so early on in life.

Kira's human-form

Kira sat lonely on the demonic throne in the underworld. She would have to pick soon, and she knew it. She didn't want to choose. All the ones so far only wanted to start a new war with the angels, and that would be irresponsible of her to let happen. If something was going to happen, it would be that a responsible person decided to step into the circle. But no-one came. Only the violent ones that could barely hold themselves from going to the skyworld and tease up a new war. The only thing holding them back was Kira's dad. But he was dying. Slowly passing away into the eternal nothing. There was barely a week left now until a tournament would be held to find out who would be worthy of the position.

There was less than 4 days left now. Time was running out, and Kira's father was getting weaker every day that passed. They needed a new ruler almost instantly. That's where the idea came from. The need of a warrior to fight on her side, and for her. She wanted someone with a pure heart that she knew would listen to her. That's where the boy came into the picture. they needed the boy. She needed the boy. She could remember what people told her about Lilith's death. The reason she died. She had brought a boy to the world about 18 years ago. She offered everything to see the human world and live with this person she loved. Kira had wanted to see this world Lilith loved enough to offer everything she had to get to. What could it be that was important enough to offer titles, wealth and so on for? Still, her blood should run through the boy's wains. There was only one last thing to do. To convince him to go to the demon realm.

The blade was still on it's stand. The demonic katana Lilith had used before she left for the human world. Kira carefully take it off. The deep blue lire was cold. but it was just as she'd expect from a demon's blade. Kira carefully pull out the blade. It had a burning blue color. It had been her color. Kira's was red. Not that it mattered much, it was more like a status-symbol. The reson it was blue, an angel-color, was because Lilith was tecnicaly on the bottom of the ladder now, considering she offered everything she had. Kira push the blade back into the lire and sheet it before she walks over to the portal to the mortal world, and stepped through the green portal.

The wind felt cold. And she got earth-clothes now. At least something reminding of it. Might a little outdated, but it was still earth-clothes. Kira starts walking down the street. She could see the fire burning in people. Most of the humans had green colors. Every once in a while, she could see a blue color as well. Luckily, it was only demons that could identify other races. Kira could feel one red color not too far away. She continued to walk slowly after the color until she saw the goal. She was still carrying the blade with her. She could see the boy. He looked like any regular human boy, but she knew it wasn't true. She knew who's blood where running though his wains. She continues to walk after him until she reach the place he lived.

The door was unlocked. Kira could just walk straight inside of the place. She looked around calmly like if nothing would ever happen. She looks around after a good place to sit. Eventually, she ends up in his bedroom. It felt rather casual, not like she expected. She decided just to sit down on the bed and wait for him to get there. She knew he would eventually.

Unbeknownst to Katsuo, he had a visitor. But,Akira knew. Being the nosy little stalker she was, she would notice a strange girl she never seen before walts straight into Katsuos house. She sneaked out of her house, and ran across hiss yard. He then sneaked up to the tree in his back yard. She then slowly climbed up the tree, starring daggers into the girl whom sat on her Katsuos bed!. "Who the hell are you she hisses in a hushed whisper. She then crawls further down the branch starring into the window.

Katsuo Just got done with his shower. With a deep breath, he steps out, and begins to wipe off all the water with a towel. He then enters his room, tossing the towel on his bed. Then, putting on a fresh pair of under wear, and pants. He then turned around, to notice a girl sitting on his bed. Out of sheer shock, he made a sound that resembled a little girl. Startled by the fact he actually had an intruder in his room. "W-Who the fuck are you!" He screams, as he points at the girl. She was very pretty, but he wasn't about to get lost in that fact. "Never mind that, just get out. I wont call the cops. Just give me whatever you took, and be on your way."

Akira watched vividly as Katsuo screamed at her. An intruder he called her! Well, at least she wasn't some secret lover. That would've broke Akiras poor little old heart. "Ya, kick her out. You show her who's boss Katsuo."

"Is everything ok up there Katsuo!" His father asked, as he yelled up the stairs. Katsuo almost told him the truth. But he had a feeling, she had something important to tell him, so he lied for her. "Nothing dad, just get back to your....Whatever it is you do." Katsuo then looked over at the girl. "You better have a good excuse, since i just covered for your ass."

Kira smiles a bit. "I haven't taken anything from your home. It would be sad to ruin the harmony. Your home is rather nice" She say. She stand up, still holding the blue lire with the katana sheeted in it. "But, I didn't come here to see mortal architcture. Even though it's nice here and all, I still prefer the underworld" Just to make sure that the boy wouldn't think she was insane and called the mental hospital, she added on; "I know about your mother. Come with me, and I'll tell you about her" She stands up. "And that girl is really looking up to you and all. You shouldn't just straight out ignore her. It would be like wasting your last meal on a fork. Completely wasted. She's in the tree behind my head, listening." Kira finishes. She holds out the deep blue lire. "This once belonged to your mother. Please pull it out and see what happens. If it starts burning with a blue flame, it's yours. If it don't, I would have to kill you for knowing about the underworld" Kira didn't want to tell the boy too much about what the situation was just yet. Not before they reached the underworld. She didn't want to have him run away with his tail between his legs.

Somewhere in the underworld, the same time as the conversation was going on

"If she brings him here, it'll be trouble..." Oleak murmur to Seander. "I know, I know. But what do you want to do? I know how desperate you are to get into a position of power, but there's nothing you really can do against the princess" Seander say to Oleak. "There's always something you can do, Seander. You just have to find out what..." Oleak drips a few drops of angel blood into some strange black liquid. The liquid starts forming into a ball, and then it lift from the bowl it was made in. "There's always something you can do..."

Katsuo looked over to the window, and watched as Akira flinched and nearly fell off the tree. But she reclaimed her balance, and was back to starring at them. Katsuo then looked back at the girl. Crazy, he thought. What a crazy chick. But, she knew of his mother, and that was enough to intrigue him. "Ok, ill take it, but only to humor your crazy ass." He said, as he took the sword into his hand. He held it into the air. And starred at it luridly. He then slowly lowered it, pointing it towards his door. "Ha, nothing happened..." He said as a sweat bead drips down his cheek. But, just as soon as he gave up, it happened. A blue flame began to intricately cover the blade, and slowly grow stronger. Until it flashed a current of flames into the air. Katsuo dropped the blade, and stepped back a bit. Confused, he looked over to the girl for an answer. "You said you knew my mother...?" He asked, no longer finding her crazy. Either they were both crazy, or both sane. Either way, this was real.

Akira was just as confused, as she sees the same thing happen from her branch. "You got to be fucking kidding me..." She said in awe. "Wheres a bowl of popcorn when you need it." She then pressed her forehead against the glass of the window. Ready for...Anything at this point.

The fire died as soon as Katsuo dropped the blade. Kira crouch slowly and pick it up. She slides it back into it's lire before she puts it in his hands. "That was all I needed to know. Please tag along, I'll explain things on the way" Kira say. She walks up to the door of Katsuo's room. "Ready to go?" She asks, looking at him. She was kind of in a hurry, so she couldn't just sit around and wait for a comment of some sort. She sighs and grabs him around his left wrist and pull him with her. She push the door open and left the room, pulling Katsuo with her. "Come up with an excuse for your dad, now" She say with a slightly mean voice-tone. No, mean would be wrong to say. Authorital and directing, like she thaught she was more worth than him. She was of course. At the moment at least. Things would hopefully change.
