Jonathan was 22 years old, good looking, and nice hearted person but he has reached his limit. He tries to be nice to everyone but school is really pushing his patience, with teachers always breathing down his neck, and the people all wanting to push their views on anyone that happens to pass them by. Today it was women for equal rights in the workforce and who happens to be pushing for it was none other than one of his ex-friends. “Hey Jay, would you like to come to a rally to help us improve women rights at the workplace?” “No I really can’t I got a lot stuff to do.” He said as calm as he could.
Even though he was trying to be nice about it she looked at him like he just kicked a newborn onto a speeding highway. “Well, what do you have to do, you don’t work on the weekends and we have rallies all the time.” “Well, I’m busy all the time now things are different.” He told her and they were for the most part. They stood there in the common area and argue from her cause to women and men in general. “This is the reason why women can never break the glass ceiling because of men like you who can never take a woman seriously,” she said folding her arms in contempt. “No you know why women can’t break glass ceiling is because you want to be treated special.” “We don’t want to be treated special; we just want our fair share,” “Then why don’t you work in big C.E.O girl graduate college at a higher rate than men but all you do is spend your money on dumb shit what makes you think to can hold money from a fortune 500 company.”
It was starting to get personal with them and soon there arguing escalated to almost a fist fight but he just walked away while she yelled at him. He finally get to home and drops his stuff and goes over to his girlfriend house since he said he would come over after school so he could get some help with his studies. “Hey kayley you in there?” he called after knocking on the door.
