This wasn’t supposed to happen.
It was only supposed to have been a bit of fun.
Things had gotten out of hand to quickly and couldn’t be repaired.
And now he had nowhere to return to, nowhere to call home.
A blurry grey figure sprinted through the rain, wearing a grey parker, and nothing but a satin red g-string to cover their lower half, moisture streaked down the figures face, but whether that was from the tears she had cried earlier, or the relentless rain pattering from the dark clouds above was no longer clear to even the figure who one would assume was female to her feminine face, and long billowing red hair which was all drenched, sticking to her face and causing great discomfort. It was still pretty early in the evening, but the everfalling rain had been falling for almost three days now without any signs of ending, and the only people still out and about where either several streets on the main street, or the occasional worker heading home in their flashy automotive. Glaring at the sky ruefully, it was almost like the weather was mirroring the lonesome figures mind, Dark, clouded, and nowhere to go but down.
A cold shiver ran down the figure’s spine, a sensation akin to that of a heroine in a horror film who had carelessly wandered into the lair of a monstrous psychopath. The horrible feeling caused the figure to trip over himself, landing on all fours in the middle of the deserted street, a faint bit of blood trickling mingling with the steady layer of water below. It wasn’t a serious injury, but she’d grazed her knee’s, and her soft creamy white palms. Shivering again as she imagined those eerie pale eyes licking down her body the figure shook her head before forcing herself to stand, and continuing her journey. She’d only visited her brother’s place once after he’d moved out, her uncle hadn’t allowed her to visit ever since. “Axel….” she mumbled longingly, picturing and taking comfort in an age old image of her brothers broad shoulders carrying her when she’d tripped over as a child.
She didn’t know how long she’d been running, but eventually she arrived in front of a familiar looking building, she couldn’t be sure since her vision had suddenly fogged up again with a fresh burst of tears, relief washing over her already as she took her first hopeful steps, it’d been years since she’d seen her brother, and seeing as how her hair had grown, her features matured a bit, she was worried if he’d recognize her. Especially since her brother had known her as a he, not a female. Well, she could prove she was a guy if it came down to it…. Actually a quick glance downward would reveal that Sasha was a boy regardless so that wasn’t much of an issue.
Taking shelter from the rain, she climbed a flight of stairs before making her way to the room in her mind. A slight spring in her step as she hurried onwards, lowering the hood of the parker and fixing her hair up, rubbing away the stray tears, and making herself look as presentable as she could in her drenched state, butterflies flew rampantly in her stomach to the point where she stopped one door too soon, lifting her hand to knock on the door, only to stop mid swing with an absolutely horrified look on her face. A white sticker with the words “For Lease” printed in red bold letters, she hadn’t considered the possibility that her brother had moved, and with no idea where he could have gone, she was genuinely without a home now. Collapsing on the cold floor, her mind began panicking, she didn’t want to go back, not back to that terrifying prison. Flooded with despairing thoughts she didn’t even notice as the door next door suddenly clicked open and a familiar figure walked out.
