Songs on a shamisen outside of deep clay windows. The gnarled branches of the blossom trees which bring beautiful flowers every spring hang over the walls, tastefully arranged so not a single bud is out of place.

A small koi pond lay to the left of this garden, across from the blossom tree. A platform separates this pond into two, allowing visitors to cross with ease. Bamboo plants are to the southern end of this place, large, but trimmed, so not to look too wild.

And finally, on the large, empty wall of the northernmost area in the garden, carefully painted, in bright red paint, is the single character: 螢.

This is the House of Red Fireflies. A bathhouse, an inn, a brothel. A huge oriental castle that seems to be lavishly decorated, beautiful beyond imagination. It is here, where warriors from across the land come to rest themselves, perhaps have a woman for the night, and run away from the rest of the world.

Men come here and leave telling tales of how the House of Red Fireflies is amazing, perfect, magical. They do not know how right they are.

Because it's never just that perfect, right? This place is, in secret, an entire house full of monsters. Working to get paid, like any other human. They are the bath house girls, the cooks, the maids, the women whom you will sleep with. It's the entire staff, working for a single entity, a dark mass of cloud named Omi.

He is the founder of this place, and a monster just like all the other staff. Whether you are a staff member working here, a traveling warrior, or a human seeking work, the House of Red Fireflies will be a place you never forget.

螢THE INN螢

The Bath House Wing (Eastern end of the inn)
There are a total of 10 baths here, all hot-water tubs the size of jacuzzis for seperate parties or for single use. Each room is seperated by paper sliding doors.
There is an outdoors bath, a huge, swimming-pool sized hot spring that is co-ed with a seperate section for girls that is still accessible from the co-ed bath.

The Brothel (Western end of the inn)
There are a total of 35 rooms for the brothel girls to use, each with a bed and amenities. The brothel girls live in the brothel, but in a seperate area. Brothel girls live in a large room with eachother, in bunks. There's really not much privacy, but the girls do have some of the nicer living areas.
Men can enter the brothel, into the viewing room, talk with the girls, and go to rooms. The lounge is darkly lit, but still stunningly beautiful nonetheless.

The Inn (Northern end of the inn)
There's an unknown amount of rooms here, about a hundred, actually. Some are bigger than others.
There are 10 floors, operated by an elevator (which is magical, Oni controls it, not electricity or wires or anything), with 10 rooms on each. The top floor is one giant room, the penthouse.

The Staff Living Wing (Southern end of the inn, underneath the lobby floor. Includes kitchen and many tunnels the staff use for easy access to rooms in the Inn)
The kitchen is closer towards the Brothel, on the western side of the Staff area.
The staff living areas are pretty much three hundred rooms, each with a small bed, and the rooms here are fairly simple.

Lobby Floor (Southern end of the inn, above the Staff Living area)
The Lobby is amazing, with bright red everywhere and large clay statues of horses and samurai lining the walls. A large set of doors opens into the Garden.

Garden (Center of the Inn)
I've already described it, so feel free to look back up at the intro of this thread.
Below the Garden lie the tunnels which lead into other areas of the Inn, and deepest down is Oni's room. It's dead center of the place, and people who go down there don't usually come back out.
