Wright Enterprises was flourishing under the leadership of Alex Wright, it's newest CEO. A diversified multinational cooperation that was working wonders even during the current financial crisis. Fast cars, glamorous parties, and big houses were all nice but quite frankly, not what Alex was aiming for. He had his sights set on other forms of entertainment and as luck would have it, he'd been given just the opportunity he'd been looking for.
The offer had been issued through her mother, innocently enough. His chance at making amends for past wrongs and giving his ex the leg up she sorely needed. Naturally that was all bullshit. But she'd find out about that soon enough. He couldn't help but grin as he considered how much harder things were going to be on her this time around. Her fault, he decided, for making him work this hard in the first place. It'd be worth it when he got to see her reaction, of course, but for now some secrets were best kept for later.
She certainly hadn't left him because of appearances and he looked just as good now as when she'd left. Tall and slender with a nice amount of muscle to him, Alex looked damn sharp in a suit. His hair was cut short, a nice shade of brown that went well with his emerald green eyes. He was sitting back at his desk, waiting for his secretary to inform him that his newest employee was here. He'd had his secretary clear out her desk, packing her personal effects into several boxes. It made it actually look like she was quitting, since the position that his ex would be hired for was being referred to as 'secretary'. Obviously he'd told his secretary what was actually going on and, like usual, she'd be getting a nice bonus for playing along. One of his favorite things about her was her staggeringly acute ability to overlook what he did with his spare time.
