Short Bio : Travis Daelan grew up unknowing of who his father was. When he was 4, his mother married his stepfather, who abused him whenever they were alone. His stepfather's favorite punishment was to put Travis in the cellarhole where he kept worms for his fishing hobby. Day after day for years, his stepfather did this until Travis was 14. Having enough, and not wanting to be stuffed in there again, Travis fight back. His stepfather was better, and mocked him, until electricity visibly flowed off Travis's arms. Stunned, his stepfather left himself open. When Travis punched him, the electricity stopped his stepfather's heart. Thinking his mother would hate him and have him thrown in jail for murder, Travis ran away from home.
He lived the life of a minor thief for a few years in a big city, stealing what he could. Disabling electronics without setting off alarms took practice, but he eventually learned. During an attempt to escape the police that succeeded, he learned he could fly. His best guess is that he aligns his personal electromagnetic field to an opposite of the earth's, but isn't strong enough to completely stop gravity, thankfully. He doesn't want to end up in space. Travis ended up in Taunton Academy after hearing about a haven for strange people.
Travis has issues with authority, and thinks they are on his case, constantly watching him for the slightest issue. Travis is obsessive about his things, immediately correcting them if they are the slightest bit off from where he wants them. If he comes back to his things being moved in the slightest way, he will assume that some authority figure has been through his things, and immediately check through all of it to be sure it's there. If not, he will immediately go to accuse an authority of taking it, basing it off reality of who could have, and then who had motive, but the motive might be... flimsy. "You take my eraser because I got a C!" He accused one teacher while in school. Travis avoids fights, for every fight he's been in since his stepfather's death was life or death. And he's afraid of the fact that he _liked_ it that way. During a fight, he becomes excited and thrilled the longer it goes, but not to the point to takes away from his fighting ability. After fights, especially if it ends in death, he enjoys his victory, before reality crashes down and he's horrified of what he's done. So far, it's been self defense, but Travis is afraid one day he'll go too far for no reason.
