Back To Where She Was

A light breeze picked up. rustling the dead branches above. The bustling of the dead leaves either falling, or crunching under her bare feet gave the only relief of the drowning silence that surrounded her. Her arms crossed upon her chest, she glanced about, sensing the presence of others about her, though, not seeing one. Keeping her pace steady and calm, she walked on, head up, eyes straight ahead; though hidden by the shadow of her hood. Walking under a tree, she stopped, swearing in her mind she'd heard something, Studying the area once more, she was suddenly tackled by an unknown force from above. taking her to the ground, she growled lowly as her arms were grasped and tied behind her despite her struggles. Chuckles and snickers were heard as she was brought to her feet. Her mouth was forced open, a piece of cloth tied around her head, which went into her mouth, muffling any sounds she tried to make. After tiring from the girls shruggles, the man who'd bound her picked up a rock, bashing her head. She instantly fell limp. Smirking, he picked her up, and tossed her like a ragdoll over his shoulder. After some time, she awoke. No longer walking, she glanced about instantly recognizing the familiar cell, of the familiar castle. She was back. Back in the very place she'd just escaped from days before. She didn't remember them knocking her out. Trying to move, she heard the jingles from the chains around her wrists, and ankles. She was tired. Tired of the questions, tired of them. Her back was almost frozen as it was against the cold, damp wall of the cell.

"Back.." The raspy voice of the Chief Guard rang throught his spacious room. She was back. This wasn't good. Her dad had ordered them to bring her back from exile, forced if necessary. No. This was definitely not good. She would tell of his deeds. His evil, treacherous deeds. He knew she needed to be silenced, to be kept at bay. But.. How? Maybe his son. He needed to man up. He'll convince her father to marry. He can keep watch, and she'll be inside the kingdom, obediently following his son. Yes. It sounded quite fine. "Kukuku.. Thank you Bragoln. Take me to her cell, Doklarg, retrieve my son. Take him to her cell, then leave us be." She was a submissive fool, even his timid son would be able to control her. He followed Bragoln to her cell, he noticed her back was probably freezing.. Too bad. As Bragoln unlocked the cell gate, his son Alexander walked in with Doklarg. "Uncuff her." They both scurried to unchain her, fumbling every now end then in dumb fear. "Alex, you will marry her. No, you don't have a say in this. Do you want my blessing?" Weak fool. He knew pressure was the ultimate tool to dominate someone. No matter how timid Alex was, he could pressure someone.

As she saw them both, she froze. Her eyes glared at them with hatred. She knew better, as taught by her father, to show fear. So she did not. Shivering, she eyed the guards as they struggled to unchain her. Once done, she instantly sat up, grateful to have the chilling concrete off of her almost bare back. Still keeping her eyes upon the two, she whispered lowly, "I will never marry such a man...a man born of another of great hate."
Her words seemed to linger as her tone lowered, expressing sincere words as she looked about the cell, searching for another way out. She found none this time. Submissive as she was, she still learned the word "No", she still had her sense of mind.

"Fool." The Azroxin, the Head Guard said. 'Why must she be such a pain?' Snorting, he pulled the hand cuffs out and cuffed her. "Roloft! Has her dad replied?" Almost making the petite guard cry. "Y-Yes-s sire.." Talking a deep audible gulp, he continued. "He s-said to d-do as you p-please.. As-s long as-s she doesn't leave again." Smiling with a nod, he sent off Roloft with a bread ticket. A bread ticket was the peasants gold. It could be cashed for 2 loafs of bread, a miracle for those lucky enough to get their dirty hands on them. Looking at her, he could see her hatred increase, and almost all hope gone. "See, I know your father would see through... [Insert her name here] go.. Get to know Alex. He's nothing like me. A shame, a regret." As the words were spat out, a slight tear in Alex's facade fell.

Grunting lowly, she wondered how one such person could be so horrid. "If he's nothing like you, this should be delightful." She retorded coldly, struggling to be free of the cuffs placed previously about her. Serenity made no effort to move towards the one they called "Alex", her features only grew that much more angry, and hateful as she glared at him sternly. It was obvious she felt no fear towards the male, nor the one almost crying at the downplayed words of the Head Guard.

"You will listen to my son." Without saying anything else, Azroxin left with his lackeys. Suddenly the sobbing stopped and Alex's voice echoed in the cell. "I hate him... He will die.. And my redemption shall be at peace..." Looking up at Serenity, he ignored her scantily clad state, his eyes respecting her.. For now. "Take these, stay warm." Reaching into his leather satchel, he pulled out a light red shirt, and clean undergarments. "Don't worry, he didn't let anyone touch you or molest you." Suddenly a drop of red liquid hit the floor. Looking toward the source, he saw a open gash. "W-want me to fix that..? His lackeys have no respect.." His father will pay for his sins.

When they left, she allowed herself to grunt lowly as she held her side, shivering violently against the cold she'd been refusing for so long. How long had she been holding out? Taking the clothes, she turned away as she changed, thinking quickly as she glanced about once more, desperate for an escape. "You seem like a nice lad...let me out." It was almost an order as she studied him. Why did he seem different, but at the same time, he didn't seem all that different at all. She couldn't place it, but there was something about this boy. "This..it's nothing but a scratch. Being here, I've had worse." She played off.

Turning around, he faced the wall and guarded the goons from getting a glance of her body. "I'm taking you to my house for dinner. I can't leave town with you, yet.. I must exterminate him." Hearing no more rustling clothes, he turned around. "No. You will let me fix it. I won't have this ignorance. It won't hurt, I need to stop the bleeding." He was easily aware of her lying. You couldn't lie and expect to go uncaught if Alex was by. "Come, hold my hand.. We must act married, or he'll
assassinate you. Don't think I'm lying. I won't rape you. Or force you into anything, other than to keep you alive." Letting it sit on her mind, he grabbed her hand gently, letting his fingers intertwine with hers. Whispering in her ear with a little smirk," Unless, you like that type of things..."

Finished changing, she felt instantly warmer as she nodded about assassinating his father. She knew he could tell she was lying, but she merely shrugged it off. "It's fine I tell you..." One thing she hated more in the world, was being messed with. Allowing her body to heal itself always seemed to work for her so far, why change it now? As he took her hand, she gripped his, understanding what he meant as she walked along with him, though, at his whispers, her eyes widened. Did she?

As Alex led her out, he noticed she hadn't said a word. 'Maybe she actually does enjoy that.. Kinky, but sexy...' Nodding his head, he led her to an alley. "Serenity, lean your head on my shoulders. We can discuss our issue at home." He secretly liked the idea of having a wife who was into domination... No, she wouldn't actually take his hand in marriage. Just long enough to run out on him when his father's downfall arrived. "Sound good..?" Maybe she was still thinking about his comment. Deciding he had nothing to lose, he picked her up bridal style. Trying to play the excited man who had just heard a yes for marriage. He didn't know why, but he felt a strange attraction to her. He would need a beer tonight.

Clearing he throat, she made no movement to lean her head anywhere near him. "What issue...?" She whispered in a gloomy type of voice. Was she into that? She questioned it herself. It sounded hot...but then again, she didn't think she could ever let someone be in control of her. As she was picked up, she rolled her eyes, though smiled, knowing she had to put on an act for everyone else around them. Batting her eyes, smiling sweetly, she even managed to place a kiss upon his cheek. No longer did she speak, though, she did finally relax in his arms as he carried her.

Alex was shocked at how many of the civilian population were aware of his marriage. Deciding it wouldn't hurt to kiss her cheek too, he leaned to the side and pecked her cheek. "You, are an amazing actor." Making a left, Alex opened the red, mahogany door with his free hand. "This, is our temporary home abode." Being a slight tease, he told her there were chains in the closet, there were actually. He had them for a rough night. "Want down..?" Not sure if she actually wanted to be set down. He needed to get her womanly stuff. No need to have a mini war over it.

Smiling slightly at his complimenting her acting, she shrugged, shaking her head. To everyone else, they looked like a happy married couple...to her? She hardly knew who he was. When he'd mentioned chains in the closet, her eyes widened for a mere moment before pretending not to even hear him. She'd even nibbled her lip to try and keep her expression calm, though it hardly worked. Dispite how comfortable she was, she nodded, "Yes."
"So...this is our house...it's lovely." As soon as she said it, she realized how sarcastic it sounded and instantly wished she could take it back. "That...wasn't supposed to sound like that..."

Raising his brow slightly, he shrugged of her apology. "No need, I disliked our arranged marriage. I barely know you. Though, we could change that. I guess we need to figure out a base plan. Any rules, secrets or pain you'd like to let out before we sleep..?" He knew she had secrets, but, everything had a secret. He just wanted to see if she would tell him. After all, trust is the building block for a relationsh- Damnit, he was already accepting her. She would probably kill him in his sleep. He wasn't the fool, his cursed father was.

A sigh escaped her lips as she shrugged, and seemed to feel around her body. "No pain that I can feel." She whispered lowly as she looked down, standing awkwardly as she nibbled her lip. Why did she feel this way toward this stranger? He'd done nothing for her so far...except get her out of that cell...shit for all she knew, he could rape her before he went to bed. Shaking her head, she moved to sit upon the couch. "I'll sleep here." As if there were no other options. "As for secrets...I have none." Why was she fighting so hard to keep away from him. It was something she couldn't quite figure out.

As she said she had no pain, he knew she was lying. But, it's not like he had known her forever. He only met her today, she probably hated him. "No, take my bed. I can sleep on the couch." Wow! He must have showed up as a total jerk. "Secrets are an attribute of being human." Damn, he was sounding like a sage. "Serenity, I hath a secret to tell you, I don't know why, but, even as you're a total stranger. I am a..." Trailing off, he couldn't finish it. She would know eventually, he would tell her, he had to. Shrugging it off, he added, "Really though. Sleep in my bed." It was more of an order, not a question.

Shaking her head slightly, "No no, I insist...I cannot take your bed." She noticed how he started to tell her a secret...he's a what? Eying him some, she nibbled her lip. "You're a what?" Studying him it was like she tried to figure it out for herself. Though, she could not. It was no use. Dismissing it then, she shook her head once more. "I must refuse." As she spoke, she looked up at him as if she dared him to argue again.

"No. You will... Or we both will be on the couch." Hopefully she disliked him enough, she wouldn't sleep with him on the couch. He really needed to sleep, he had to work. Blinking, he grinned at her perplexed facial expression. "Not liking the idea..?" Perfect! Maybe he could use the cuffs to play around a bit. "I could... Get the cuffs..." Damn his bluntness. He's a logical man, no need to lie.

"I said I refuse the bed...which is what I plan to do. If we both share the couch, we share the couch, but I will sleep by furthest from the edge." She has a plan in that, which caused her to smirk. Though, it quickly faded as he mentioned the cuffs. Her answer was nothing more then a mere shrug as she nibbled her lip gently.
