[Anya]
The war was slowly coming to an end. Power had returned to the Allied Forces and the Germans were fast retreating. The sudden death of their glorious Führer was a pain they had to bare, most assumed that his death would mean the end, but those who were truly loyal knew different.
Hidden in a remote, abandoned castle, high in the mountains a group of Nazi's loyal to the Führer remained vigilant against their downfall. Hopeful that Hitler's death was just a scare tactic by the media, they remained ignorant to the world around them, preparing their forces for one final strike against the Allies. Run by a hot headed Nazi General, they were prepared to follow her to the death, because there was nowhere else for them to turn.
Anya paced the floor of the castle's grand dining hall, a room that she had converted in to her own personal office. Maps and pieces of paper were scattered all about the room, a large flag dedicated to the Nazi regime hung on the back wall, covering a medieval tapestry. The room was in a shambles, but this did not discourage Anya, General and loyal subject to the Nazi empire. Brooding, Anya starred at the frozen mountains that surrounded the castle through the grand floor to ceiling window, muttering to herself before continuing to pace again. Anya was itching for a fight, it had been so long since she had been in battle and it was beginning to drive her insane. She was on edge and out of place, she felt abandoned and fearful that her glorious time had come to an end. Enraged, Anya drew a blade from her belt and hurled it violently towards the door, letting out a anguished cry as the knife left her hand and struck the wooden door at the end of the room.
They were coming, the allied forces, they were coming, Anya could feel it. They would come and they would see that Hitler's powers did not die with him, that Germany still had some fight left. Anya knew they would come, it was just a matter of time.
A knock sounded at the door and Anya pulled out her pistol, aiming at the young soldier who had entered. Intimidated by Anya's aggression the soldier whimpered, but quickly cleared his throat "Madam! We have captured a spy lurking within the forests that surround our base. Should we dispose of the scum?"
Curious, Anya looked at him for a moment then placed her pistol back in its holster. "No, do not dispose of them yet, let's see if they have any information that would be useful to us" Anya sighed, picking up her coat she followed the soldier down to the castle dungeons. This wasn't the fight Anya was looking for, but it might just keep her hands busy while they waited.
