• name:: Nathaniel Pierce Woods
• nickname:: Most commonly Nathan will just go by "Nathan". But he did at one time go by "Nat", though he now prefers not to be called that for his own personal reasons. But if someone were to call him that he would respond.
• gender and age:: A strapping young male who was born on April 24 and is currently 17 years old.
• species:: Wolf, he has not Changed yet, he will have his first Change this upcoming Winter.
• rank:: Nathan is a wolf coming from the merged pack, so his ranking is undetermined as of now. However since he hasn't Changed he is in the Adolescent rank and most likely a Gamma upon going through his first Change.
• personality:: Nathan prefers to find the lighter side to everything around him, no matter how bad things seem to get. Childish and goofy, he'll do anything to make someone smile when they're having a bad day. He feels almost obligated to because he hates seeing people frown, especially if it's someone close to him. He doesn't think of himself as a big leader, he doesn't want power, he just wants to keep everything and everyone together. Even if his current attempts seem to be failing horribly.
When a fight or disagreement comes about Nathan isn't one who's quick to back down, however. Stubborn and hardheaded, this young man will keep at something when he has his mind set. But sometimes this stubbornness can get a hold of him and make him reluctant to listen to reason or input from others. With this being the case Nathan is rather hostile when his temper flares. He doesn't listen to reason, or even what others have to say to him when his anger gets a tight hold on him. Because of this he prefers to handle things more physically than socially, partly from his past experiences and partly from how his own brain works things. It doesn't take much to set Nathan off, he's fiercely protective of those close to him and will do whatever it takes to insure both their happiness and their safety.
Despite his almost confident behavior, Nathan's shy and will quickly be red in the face when a certain someone gets his attention. When around that person he's sent into a flurry of a stomach full of butterflies and glowing red cheeks. In some cases he may even try to sexually tease them (crudish type jokes implying sexual stuff basically), however confident he may seem if they happen to tease him back he'll be sent into another spell of blushing and stuttering. Though he'll always find himself smiling through his embarrassment. When having a bad day that person will be who he goes to see and find they always make the bad drain away, it would be this person he is most protective of.
Being very family-orientated, Nathan prefers to be around his family and loved ones. It's in this scenario that he's the same fun-loving and goofy kid most people know him as. But even his family knows that Nathan's a person who bottles up everything going on until he finally just snaps. So even in times where everything just goes wrong he's the one trying to lighten things.
• history:: Before entering the new pack of Havencaster Crossing wolves little happened in young Nathan's life. The pack he was formally apart of had become filled with blood lust for humans, the young wolves of the pack had taken over and went on slaughters for humans. After weeks of the first attack the numbers grew. The town soon grew too dangerous for many of the wolfen families to live safely, which is the reason behind the new pack merging.
As the pack grew more and more distraught the families finally left when the pack Alphas did nothing to stop the slaughtering. With their secret in danger Nathan fled with his family to the nice little town of Havencaster Crossing to merge with the pack lying there. As he begins to settle it Nathan seems wary and almost angry to be there, seeing as how it isn't his pack and the atmosphere surrounding the other wolves of the original pack make that clear.

• past relationships:: When you get down to the heart Nathan's a tender, inexperienced person. Within his pack he only got close to one girl close enough to even consider her a mate. Though as time wore on he did get into a serious relationship with her. However, after she Changed Nathan noticed the gap between them growing deeper. Then he discovered she was one of the wolves slaughtering all the humans. At the uncovered fact the two broke into a huge fight, it then ending with her choosing another mate even after she'd sworn to wait for him.
The experience tore a rather large tear in his heart, though even he knows it will heal with time - lots of it.
