Adalyra woke in her bed her long natural red hair draped around her like a net against her milky white skin, she quivered in the chill air a bit. She looked around and grabbed her robe pulling it around her since all she had on was a thin night gown. Her crystalline blue eyes darted about the room as the candlelight caught them there was a ring of gold around her pupils. She was always a bit disoriented when she first awakened, she climbed out of bed revealing her short stature barely standing over five feet tall, she was slender but with nice curves, her features were very beautiful and feminine. She walked over to her closet, trying to figure out what she was to wear.
She remembered the first time she had come to this house many years back, she had been barely alive after having been chased from country to country for her feeding frenzies. She would feed on several towns people until she had drawn too much attention to herself, she had repeated this process so many times that she'd had no where left to run. She had heard rumors about this place. She had knocked at the door only to find a man here.
This man was named Claude and he was the true owner of this house he helped her by hiding her for about a century until people had forgotten her for the most part. He would bring her whatever she needed to stay alive until then. Once people had moved on he taught her more control and helped to keep her thirst in check. Claude kept her safe and under control and from then on she had climbed up in society making their household for the most untouchable since no one dared to accuse them of anything. Claude however had chosen to make her the lady of the house and stay as her butler when company was around something she never quite understood.
She looked around and spotted him "what should I wear today?" she asked softly, she was only ever this soft to him but not often. She looked over at him she never fully understood him he was stronger than her but he only showed that he was in charge behind closed doors. She did not wish to complain though she was happy in her new life. She was his partner behind the closed doors and his master outside of them, it was more complicated than just that even. They were lovers something that was new to her but she did enjoy such a new thing to her. The ability to truly rely on some one and be herself with, plus she owed her life to him with out him she would have been dead over a century ago.
