It was a sad day when both people in a relationship wanted to explore domination play, but neither of them wanted to be the one to wear the handcuffs. Nicholas and Meredith Lyons had tried several compromises, but when he snatched the whip away from her when she beat him and she nearly slapped his face off when he pulled her hair, things became rather pointless. A few prostitutes were employed to provide a submissive, but they all ended up having to be 'silenced' when they threatened endless lawsuits and newspaper interviews. For a time it seemed as though their robust sex life was going to die out, until Nicholas' father asked him to go check on some of the family holdings in America.
At the time of their marriage nearly five years ago, the only family richer than Meredith's had been Nicholas'. Between them the two had more than enough money to never work a day in their lives, save for occasional meetings with the accountants. Any other time the trip would have been an annoyance, but Nicholas soon saw it as an opportunity to find an American girl with a few less scruples and a more open mind. This proved fruitless as well.
In the end, there was really only one option.
Meredith sat in one of the endless Starbucks coffee houses that covered the country, sipping at something that foolish Americans thought was tea and pretending to read the paper as she watched the crowd pass by though the window. There was a high school fairly nearby, and most of the crowd consisted of students finally being released from classes. Meredith's bright green eyes scanned all of them, but none of them seemed quite right. The 27 year old woman was turning quite a few heads in the coffee shop, many of them wondering what the woman in the designer suit was doing in a place like this. She certainly didn't seem happy; an annoyed, frustrated expression was on her face as student after student passed by. Meredith had gotten herself rather worked up thinking about what would happen as soon as they found a suitable girl, only to have spent the last two days finding nothing while her husband dealt with business. Well, something would turn up eventually.
