Fire temple:

Info: The fire temple was said to be worse then hell it self.
Zora:
34e7uj6.jpg

Info: Zora is the only legendary fire gaurdian left on earth. Along with her, there are three other legandary gaurdians. Water, wind, and earth. Legandary gaurdians can live for hunderds of years.
Age: 5-600Y
Gender: Female.
Mate: Non.

Zora yawned as she stood, stretching her back before trotting out of her well hidden den. Her day's were all the same. She would wake, leave her den, partol her territory for a few hours, then lounge around for the rest of the day. Her tail flickered back and forth behind her as she padded to the edge of her territory, sending small sparks of fire into the grass below.

Being the only fire gaurdian left, many males came to her temple to try and whoo her, trying to be the one who she chose to mate with, and father the next fire pups. But non had sucsseded. She lived alone, and that's how she liked it. She would never let any male that came to her, get even ten feet close to her.

Her fur spiked, and the flamly tips of her fur would grow brighter and stronger, making her look twice as big as she already was when she caught the scent of a unknown male. She knew it was male, because the scent was musky and stronge. She pinned her ears and raised her head, looking around for the trasspesser.

The man was a fugitive condemned for treason of the highest order. The city threw unto him a a black choker to mark him as such to brand him to wanderers and other cities that he is to be sentenced to death should anyone notice the choker bond to his neck. This was the only choice he had, to slay the fire guardian the earl whom sentenced him would have his choker removed and he would regain citizenship. He cared not now to live in that city but he needed to get this collar removed and if he seeks a blacksmith he might be killed there and then. The man kept himself armed with the weathered iron sword and cracked and rusted shield he managed to find off a corpse. He kept treading on homing he could have some luck off of the beast.

Zora kept lower to the ground as she trotted forward, her claws digging into the dark ash beneath her with each step. Who ever, or what ever had dared to come to her temple, was going to wish they had never set foot inside her territory when she was done with them. Growing softly she crept forward, her tail lashing out behind her.

When zora had first become the guardian of the fire temple, she had sworn to protect the secrets of the temple. Her fiery red eyes narrowed as she silently padded around the temple, searching for the unknown male. The closer she got, the stronger his scent was. A human. Her ears perked as she peered around a corner, finally she spotted the man. Grinning she slowly stalked up behind him, not many humans had ever dared to set foot into her territory in the past. her ears pinned, and her upper body tensed as she got ready to pounce at the man from behind.

The male kept on trailing through the cave hoping to find the alter soon. He began to feel uneasy beginning to feel the blood lust of someone or something in the cave. He quickly side steps so that a pillar is directly behind him taking cautious steps forward awaiting the move of some predator. He had no room for being careless now since everything seemed to be riding on this. It was either kill or be killed whether here or out their. Out there however he wouldn't be able to fix things. His only wish though was that he could have brought his own sword instead of this worn and rusted piece of crap but he held onto the sword as if it was his one and only life line.

Zora lunged at him as he side stepped, growning loudly as she hit the pilled and not him. It took only a meer second for her to be on her feet again, her tail lashing out behind her as she quickly jumped back into the shadows of the cave, quickly hiding herself from the man again. She had to admit, he was a cleaver one, unlike the other humans that had challenged her in the past. Her fur spiked and her flames grew as she trotted ahead of the man without a sound. Soon, he would see the opening leading to the main room inside the fire temples, her den. The very heart and soul of her home. Growling she eyed the man closely from the shadows, even thou his sword was rusted, it could still harm her.

" Your not welcome here."

The voice ecod off of the cave walls, making it seem like it was coming from every derection.

RE: Zora the fire gaurdian. *open*

"Oh...! So I'm not welcome?"

The man said in a jokingly surprised and sarcastic tone but still kept cautious with his back hugging the wall and his sword readied.

"I'm sorry for the intrusion I shall leave immediately..."

He paused before grinning with a soft chuckle.

"After all I don't wish to be here. I can slay you outside by all means. You'll be happy cause I'm no longer trespassing and I'll be happy cause I can more easily see myself running you through with my tip here. So all in all I believe we might be able to work this out"

RE: Zora the fire gaurdian. *open*

Zora growled as he spoke, her ears perked and her fur spiked. This human had the nerver to come into her home and now he was being sarcastic with her. Her razor like claws dug into the ash like dirt as she slowly stepped out of the shadows, her red eyes narrowed as she slowly made her self visiable to him. Seeing the old and rusted sword he heldin his hand she couldnt help part her lips and chuckle darkly.

" You fool. No sword can kill me."

She growled and took another step towards the human. It was thwn that she was the black colar around his neck, her ears twitched.

RE: Zora the fire gaurdian. *open*

"Well isn't that an interesting fun fact. I would love... to call you out on that one. How about you just walk into my blade and we'll just see whether or not I should mark that off as true or false."

He aimed the tip of his sword at the hound and lowered shield his eyes fixed on her unwavering and calculating.

"Go ahead you're move..."

Zora growled and beared her fangs at him. How dare he mock her! Her tail lashed out behind her as she slowly took another stepped towards him. Her eyes flickered from a deep red to a light red for only a slight moment before she shook her head and blinking her eyes a few times. This human was just asking to be killed. She stood up on her hind feet, her body chaning as she did. Luckily for her, she could shift from wolf to furry any time she wanted. Grinning she looked at the man, her eyes their normal dark red once again as she looked him over. Was he really here to kill her? Or was there something more. She had only seen that black chocker a few times before, but she knew what it ment.

" Let me guess, you were sent here to kill me inorder to get that thing removed, am i right?"

She chuckled as she stood infront of him, only a few inches away from the tip of his blade. Her black clothes blended in with her dark fur. Her eyes stayed narrowed as she locked eyes with the man. He could wound her, but that sword would surely melt before he could do any real damage to her.

Baralis shot back his pressing further into the cave wall from seeing the sudden change from hound to humanoid. his heart then stopped racing remembering that she still needed to be slain and couldn't compromise by letting himself be shocked. She then suddenly moved forward him feeling the heat radiate from herself and reaching out to him as if they were hands trying to envelope him but he had no more room to back up so he become solid ready to draw blood. Then to his surprise again she chuckled at him at brought up the collar. By that he became irritated some and embarrassed that this mut knew about the crappy situation he was in.

"Oh this old thing? Yeah I got this thing thing maybe since it's oh so fashionable it might get me quite a few glances. Unfortunately though... it does get me quite a few glances..."

Baralis gave a slight grunt upset by the reality of the joke but then eyed Zora down his eyes lingering on down her.

"See what I mean? Have your eyes all over me"

He half grinned but let out a sigh waiting while holding his guard

RE: Zora the fire gaurdian. *open*

Zora stood silently as he spoke before rolling her eyes at his joke. The more she thought about humans, the more they confused her. Her short black ears flickered slightly as she felt his eyes on her. A low growl rumbled deep inside her chest as she looked back up at him. They were nearly the same hight, but of course he was a bit taller.

" Im not the type to go for easy prey, so if your going to try and kill me, at least go and get a better sword."

She grinned at him as she reached out and placed her finger tips on the tip of his blade, it didnt take long for the blades tip to melt under her heat. Her eyes narrowed once again as she pulled her clawed hand back to her side.

RE: Zora the fire gaurdian. *open*

Baralis snarled glaring at her

"Yeah... will do that..."

Baralis back handed swinging the shield at Zora's face. It didn't matter much to him whether he hit or not so much as it was intended in hindering her vision. With the shield fixed to his arm he had kept a dirk in his hand hidden behind. He tossed the dirk to his free hand through the swing.

"Found one...!"

He stabbed down at her while obstructing her view hoping to do at least some substantial damage to give him leverage in this match

RE: Zora the fire gaurdian. *open*

Zora growled and jumped back, her tail lashing before her as she quickly shifted back to her wolf form. As soon as he swung at her she backed up, flames completly ingulfing her body. Growling she lunged at him, her sharp claws meeting his arm before the wight of her burning halody come crashing down on him, sending the two of them tumbling across the ground. Zora snapped at him, her razor like teeth sreaching for his flesh. Durning the fall, his blade had found its place in her side, thou in her raging state, she bearly felt the pain coming from the gash.

RE: Zora the fire gaurdian. *open*

Baralis didn't enjoy being smothered under the giant muts weight. He tried rolling her off with his shield but in her current state the difference would be a pain and he wasn't sure if his shield would hold up that long already feeling the iron from his shield char his skin from the heat. His dirk he wasn't even sure where it was anymore. Having been knocked on his back he was glad enough that he didn't loose consciousness. He knew he was fighting an uphill battle but that he was fully aware that that had begun before he even left for this place. He was pinned and his sword arm was growing numb. Maybe it got dislocated, maybe the nerves were fried. He shook back and forth simply trying to shake her off doubting that he'd manage to regain his footing.

RE: Zora the fire gaurdian. *open*

Zora snarled down at him as he wiggled beneth her. Her claws dug into his flesh as she got her footing, her eyes a blazing red. She could end this silly game, but she did enjoy the chase. Growling she kept him pinned to the ground. It wasnt long till she felt the burning pain coming from her side. He was as good as dead in a few monutes, her claws left a hand full of wounds along his shoulders and chest. Her jaws clamped down on the edge of his shield, and with a sudden twist of her head she ripped it away from him and threw it across the floor, leaving him un armed.

" Any last words?!"

RE: Zora the fire gaurdian. *open*

"Yes I do in fact. You see that dirk isn't really considered a sword so much as a dagger... I believe I misheard when you told me to get a "sword". I better be off to do that now"

He smiled letting out a slight chuckle more so at himself, still trying to find some humor in his demise. Die here or die out there, that was simple enough to know. He simply closed his eyes and eased his body knowing this was over

RE: Zora the fire gaurdian. *open*

Zora growled at him. But she had to admit, he did have a good sense of humor. The pain coming from her side finnaly became to much and she moved away from him, but made sure to block his path of excape. Her flames dimmed as sue looked at her side. The gash wasnt to big, but it was deep.

" I should kill you."

she growled and looked over at him. Sure she had wounded him pretty badly, but he wasnt anyone important.

RE: Zora the fire gaurdian. *open*

"I was wondering whether you were going to kill me or not. I guess I was wrong to second guessing myself in you wanting me to stay here..."

Baralis crawled back some to lean his back against the wall swearing to himself underneath his breath the hole time as he motioned.

"You wanted me to return even though you don't want trespassers, you melted my sword like butter but not my collar, and now you retreat even though I wounded you and you had... still hold my life dangling. What twisted reasoning do you have for keeping me here? You really thought I wouldn't realize this?"

The man pushed his back against the wall sliding himself up to his feet as his left arm swayed limply at his side. It was burned bad but wasn't entirely lost. It seems that his shoulder popped out of place from being pinned and crushed. He suddenly started slamming his shoulder against the wall until there was faint popping sounds then the sound of a loud grunt as he tried to hold back the scream of agony as his shoulder relocated itself.

"Yeah... so at least I can't say you're the worst host I have ever been with but you're fairly up there..."

RE: Zora the fire gaurdian. *open*

Zora sat where she was, her side dripping with her dark blood. She watched him move to the wall, before slowly getting to his feet. As he spoke, she grinned and rolled her eyes. Standing she quickly shifted. One hand holding her side.

" Isnt clear to you? I like the chase. "

She chuckled. Thou she did step back as he started slamming his shoulder against the wall. He was right, she could just melt his collar off and send him on his way. But what fun would that be.

" I could melt your collar, but as you humans put it, im ' A wild animal that needs to be killed.' So i dont do favors anymore."

RE: Zora the fire gaurdian. *open*

Baralis sighed and began to move forward walking straight towards the dirk but it didn't matter to him if he reached it. It was there so that is where he had to head. The next he would continue moving over to her. The task was simple in his mind for he no longer plans to kill her.

"I will keep walking towards that dirk... You can break both my legs an I'll crawl. You can tear off both my arms and I curse you till you die. Eventually you'll grow tired of me"

He continued to move on towards the dirk with whatever he can muster up paying no attention to her till he had a weapon in his hands

RE: Zora the fire gaurdian. *open*

Zora watched him closely as he began to move towards his weapon. Growling she shifted and jumped towards him, landing right over the dirk. Her fur spiked and ears pinned once again. She placed her paw over his weapom, melting it easily. She was said to have no heart, no soul, but she still didnt like seeing things hurt.

" Trust me, you wont need this anymore."

She growled at him.

RE: Zora the fire gaurdian. *open*

"Damn you...!"

His breath began to pick up enraged by her but he simply collapsed to his knees then let his body fall fat onto his back staring straight up at the ceiling.

"You have issues. Just making sure you know that..."

RE: Zora the fire gaurdian. *open*

She shifted and she trotted closer to him as he fell to his back.

" uh huh, issues, sure. "

She rolled her eyes and perked her ears as she grapped hold of his collar.

" Dont move, or i really will kill you."

She warned him as her hand heated up. His collar started to glow, before there was a loud snap. Grinning she quickly pulled her hand back and moved away from him. She placed her still warm hand on her wound, wincing slightly as the wound slowly closed up, healing it self.

RE: Zora the fire gaurdian. *open*

Baralis raised and eyebrow at you slightly irritated by the end result. Kinda anticlimactic but why complain about this. He simply sighed and remained lying there

"Yeah you need to work on your people skills a bit more"

He painfully let out wound sounded close to half grunt half chuckle

RE: Zora the fire gaurdian. *open*

" i had people skills, before everyone started trying to kill me. "

she snapped as she moved to sit down by the cave wall. She rested her head against the cold wall, growling softly to her self. Of course he didnt understand, he was just some human.
