I have a wide range of interests when it comes to RP. Short, long. Sexual non-sexual, Fantasy, sci-fi, modern, ect. I prefer Para-RP, I don't like when RPers post useless information just to pad out the post.
When it comes to the actual setting or theme, I like things that are unusual. Roleplay for me is where I get to escape the rules of reality and enjoy myself and people who I RP with should be able to do the same. I always want to find people who have a desire or fantasy they want to live out, even if it's one sided, and let them live it out. Is that not why we roleplay?
