Somewhere over the rainbow.
It had been quite a while since the last report of a sighting of that notorious ship. It had been a while since anything was heard from the Eisenrose actually. It even started to fade into a myth of the skies. Benoit chuckled a little bit as he read the papers, shaking his head and adjusting the goggles around his neck. "Kurt! Come here, I need to talk to you." His officer strode over quickly, the rifle on his back moving, the ammo around his waist jingling as he walked. "Zese.... amateurs sink ve're gone." Kurt raised an eyebrow, shaking his head and laughing. "You know vat ve must do, nien? Set a course for ze nearest town. I vant to make our entrance..... big." The officer saluted briskly before jogging off to make the command known. After a few minutes, Benoit put the paper down, standing slowly to his full height of 5' 10", readjusting the forager's cap on his head before grabbing his own rifle and his ever important cutlass. After all, what would a captain be without his most trustworthy weapon? When he was ready, he moved out of his cabin, watching as his crew skittered around on the deck. The Eisenrose was a mid-sized ship of incredible design. Instead of using vulnerable balloons to keep itself aloft, it boasts a propeller driven design, borrowing a few traits from the planes of it's date. On each side was a rather modest seventeen cannons.

What really brought this ship to it's legend status was the numerous guns on the deck, meant to endlessly raze the sides of enemy ships, taking out opposing crews without really damaging what cargo they had inside. It also came in very handy when the larger airships used their air superiority tactics, sending out large squadrons of airplanes to combat the threat, whatever it was. While everything was being loaded, Benoit moved around the deck, smiling at the efficiency. Kurt arrived by his side a few moments later, assuring him that they were headed for the nearest city. The island of Bellelle in the French Morocco was a rather hospitable place to most pirates. If the Eisenrose was going to make another lasting impression, something told the captain he'd have to get some more crewmembers. Bellelle, while not his original intent, would serve a purpose at least. "Keep ze guns ready! I vant everyone ready to velcome our new recruits ven I come back!" Replies rang out as the crew kept working and the airship chugged along to it's destination. At this rate, it would take them about fifteen minutes to reach the town. "Kurt, tell ze engine room to give her everysing she has!" Kurt nodded, running off to relay the message.

Saja Lynn walked through Bellelle, watching everyone casually make their way from shop to shop. No one seemed to worried or, on-edge because it had been a long time since the Airship Pirates had been around, it was like they disappeared without notice.

"Airship Pirates, now that would be interesting to run into on one of my journeys" Saja stated as she watched everyone in town. She often day dreamed of being with the Pirates, seeing what it was they did, instead of all the rumors of what they do. She had heard about the Eisenrose and its magnificent power, with the numerous cannons and weaponry. Saja drifted off into deep thought.

The town was dull in color, plain shops, plain houses, even most of the people were plain. Not Saja, she wanted to me noticed, she wanted all the attention she could get. A lot, if not all the towns people including her family and friends made the same comment "Your just begging for the wrong kind of attention" and Saja lust shrugged them off.

Saja was known for her adventures she often took, getting into trouble, finding her self needing more help then she was giving. She hated sitting in one place, she needed to live on the edge, otherwise she was bored. And today, she decided she would find something to tend to her need for adventure. "But where will I find it today?" she asked her self aloud as she walked along the dirt road.

Heading towards the docks she leaned up against a shipping box, staring out into the distance she was lost in thought, not noticing the large object heading towards Bellelle.

The ship made it's way to the docking place, circling once before Benoit gave the command to land. The airship touched the ground, and the second it came to a stop, activity aboard the ship ceased. The captain checked his stuff once more, adjusting his forager's cap and slipping on his flak jacket. The goggles still hung loosely around his neck, and the rifle that was strapped to his back gave him a slightly threatening look. He didn't seem much of a captain. Infact, he'd blend in with most of the ground forces of his ship. Kurt looked more like the captain, a very large man with a certain glint in his eyes. That's why Benoit hired him onto his crew, something about the way he looked at a target. It ensured him that he'd always get the job done. He shook his head, chuckling as the boarding ramp was lowered, and the duo stepped off. The crewmen went back to making sure all the guns were ready for a fight. With a smirk about his face, Benoit took a deep breath, counting to three as the flag was raised. That symbol of an Iron Rose fluttered in the slight breeze, quickly making the ship known. With that done, they strode off into town, heading for a local tavern.

However, something caught his eye as he passed one of the dock areas. A girl was leaning against the shipping crates. Judging by the way she dressed, she wasn't from here. The people of Bellelle never really dressed so outlandishly. The captain chuckled again, nudging Kurt with his elbow before nodding over to the woman. "I spy vith mien little eye somezing zat does not belong in zis city. Vouldn't you agree Kurt?" The larger man raised an eyebrow, sighing and shaking his head as he moved on. Out of curiosity though, Benoit turned to face the woman fully, motioning with his finger for her to follow them. If she did, either there was something wrong with her, or she was searching for a way out of the town. Either way, he was sure he could help with whatever the problem was. He chuckled again, following behind his First Mate as they headed down the main road, towards the bar.

Saja raised a brow as the foot steps of the men took her from her daydream. His accent made her grin. She turned to look at the ship fully, as her eyes surveyed the ship they led her to the flag. "The Iron Rose" she whispered. She did a double take on the flag, then spun, running for town past them. Getting to the tavern before them she went to the tender.

"The Iron Rose is back" she managed to get out catching her breath. The bar tender nodded and scurried off, Saja jumped up on the bar and sat. "I just found my adventure today" she grinned.

Everyone in the bar continued as they were, even after the men entered the bar. Saja jumped off the bar as the entered. She walked past him, eyeing him as she went. He was different. She could not figure out why, but if he is in here, his ship is empty. She left, she had not thought about the rest of the crew that was sure to remain there.

Getting to the ship, she slowly walked up the ramp, but stopped only at the tip to gaze the upper deck, it was covered in men and women working. "Shit" she mumbled as she backed up back a little, realizing no one had noticed her, she returned to the top to gaze, it was huge.

Benoit chuckled a little bit when the girl took off down the road. They continued their leisurely pace, and just as they entered the bar, the same girl walked out, but not before eying him a little. With a shake of his head, he moved up to the bar, ordering two drinks before sitting at the bar and scanning the crowd. As he looked around, he saw a few males that looked like they belonged on a ship. His ship. He stood slowly, patting Kurt on the shoulder before making his way to each person who seemed like they would do his ship good. Every time Ben walked up to a person, he smiled, watching their faces pale a little bit before he said that they were now part of his crew. "If you do not agree..... vell, you could alvays talk to mien First Mate." The captain smiled a little wider when he motioned to the man sitting at the bar. After a few minutes, they all agreed, and with his work done, him and his new crewmates headed back towards the ship. Of course, not before Benoit ordered that all the drinks were put on his tab. He put a medium sized bag of coins on the bar and winks at the bartender before him and his new men made their way out.

The large, imposing man brought up the rear of the group, making sure no one ran for it while Benoit led. Every now and then he would look over his shoulder, and offer words of encouragement. "If it makes you feel any better, you vill be payed handsomely, and your families vill get a large amount of money if you happen to pass avay aboard ze ship. Please, do not give me such sad faces. I guarantee you vill enjoy your time on ze Eisenrose." He winked again before facing forward again, striding across the ground. When he got close enough though, he noticed a figure standing just on the tip of the docking ramp. He put on his goggles, flicking a few of the switches and putting the magnification lenses in place. He grinned, realizing it was the girl from earlier. Benoit grinned, tsking gently before taking out his sword and jogging up. He didn't make much noise, slowing down when he got closer, managing to get right behind her, pressing the point of his blade against her back before stopping. "You might vant to stand up straight and turn around. I do not like uninvited guests peeking on my ship. The Eisenrose has a great many secrets zat I vould not appreciate getting out."

Saja stood slowly, feeling the tip of his sword on her lower back "I'll be on my way" she turned, then smiled "James, Ralph, Marion, what are you doing with this guy?" she waved her hand motioning to the guy in front of her. She looked back at Benoit, "IF you did not want guests perhaps you should have guards standing out to watch." she said harshly. Crossing her arms she cocked her hip out. "I for one am not impressed. I thought it would be much larger."

Saja took her hat off, letting her hair fall lose, it reached just to her lower back, pitch black, unlike the other townswomen. Standing in front of Benoit she got chills up her back. *What is it about him, he is not normal* she thought to herself. The sun had began to set, the water off the dock was sparkling with color, she looked out of the corner of her eye, to see how high she was, just in case she needed to jump off, to get away if need be.

Benoit chuckled, cocking his eyebrow and sheathing his sword with a bit of flourish. "Vell, all ze men are preparing ze ship for flight. Ve have...... plans to reclaim our spot in ze paper." He chuckled again, waving Kurt and the others onboard ahead of him. When they were gone, Benoit turned back to face the girl. "Between you and me, if ze Eisenrose vas any bigger, I vould burn her myself. Benoit does not fly ze bigger ships." For a few seconds, it was silent, and the next time he smiled it was just a little wider than before, and something seemed different. It was subtle, but the effect was a little intimidating.

"I see you looking around. I vouldn't recommend jumping into ze vater. It's rather cold zis time of year. And I have been told I am a very good shot." He winked, shaking his head when the girl took off her hat, letting dark black hair fall down to the small of her back. "Listen, I can make you a deal. You do not belong in zis city, and I have more men than women. Zerefore, I must velcome you to my crew." He motioned for her to go ahead, his hand resting on his sword in case she tried to run.
