â??â??Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness.â??â??
To restore order, the cardinal shamans sent forth one of their own to the peaceful planet below. Earth was considered a neutral ground, unaware of magic and the civil war.
And yadda yaddaâ?¦ all that magical jazz. All events led from point A to B, and at point Bâ?¦ well, thatâ??s where our journey starts, really. A Shaman in training, sent down to the Rudimentary Academy for Magic to play a high school girl. All in search for the prince and to protect him until the time dictates for his return.
â??Kire, are you listening? Better pay attention, since heâ??s going to give a test on this at the end of the week.â? a girl nudged the black haired female. Kire blinked a few times, waking herself as her mind had slipped away from the lesson. Dark strands of black hair curved around her cheeks and around her shoulders. The school uniform was snug on her; white blouse contrasting with her hair beautifullyâ??though she personally thought that the girls with blonde hairs looked rather angelic with the white blouses. The skirt left an ample amount of slender legs to be revealed and hidden quite well that it was longer than her fingertips when she slackened her arms to the side.
Traditional. Iron pressed. Neck tied. Even a crest over the left breast with the initials of R.A.M was of golden silk, heightening the prestige of the school. To outsiders, one would think it was a rich school, when in fact, money had no real value. Only skills and how powerful oneâ??s magic training was.
Kire crossed one leg over the other and nodded, thanking her friend for dragging her attention back to the present situation. Even still, as the teacher spoke about simple fluctuations of pronunciations in languageâ??all of which could alter a simple spell to a more complex oneâ??Kire found her gaze shifting once more. It shifted to the current soccer player, rather popular for the natural skills he had shown in the field. Crisp blonde hair in a wild fashion that drew in girlsâ?? eyes, and such striking blue eyes that made them swoon.
The dark brunette just winced at that, wondering what luck she had to be sent to protect him; Hei if she remembered correctly. Kire hadnâ??t been in school for too long, but as far as she heard, â??jocksâ?? were â??cocksâ??. Personality track didnâ??t fair too well for those guys, but as she hadnâ??t interacted with him very much, she held her judgment. One would have thought that she was interested in him though, as she had been watching and staring at him since the moment she â??transferredâ? into the school. She was so lost in staring at him, that she wasnâ??t even concerned if he saw her staring.
With a small spark of magic that hopefully the teacher didnâ??t catch, she pressed her finger against the wooden desk before her, and began to scrawl out a message. Her concentration was focused solely on his desk, as the words she traced down, shimmered and temporarily inked themselves onto the desk that Hei was sitting at.

So letâ??s recap the events, shall we?Point A
The war had been going on for centuries now. Lurking in the background, pealing away at the strength and courage of those sworn to defend. Like a secret society in the modern world, shifted from the side of the moon that Earth does not see, a world called Luin existed. A kingdom that had been in battle within itself, tearing itself for justice and leadership. The King had died, the Queen in an enchanted slumber like some fairytale. But behind the splendor and glory that once was a proud and strong Kingdomâ??the base of all Magic and unnatural phenomenonâ??was a crumbling foundation. To restore order, the cardinal shamans sent forth one of their own to the peaceful planet below. Earth was considered a neutral ground, unaware of magic and the civil war.

Point B
Their base language was English in the school, situated in the middle of a formal neighborhood surrounded by mainly English speaking natives. So of course one of the classes had to be an English class. Not that it meant the students had to like it. Senior year came rolling around, with many students humming with excitement to get out of the final test and get on with either regular jobs in the daily world, or to be given a role in Luin. It was known that few jobs did still exist in the world â??aboveâ?? them, though how the internal strife was going, was left for speculation for those dwelling hundred of miles away from their â??homeâ??.â??Kire, are you listening?
