Somewhere over the rainbow.
It had been too long, much too long since he had smelled fresh air. Much too long indeed. Now he was out, out of the place his love had assigned him to. A test, most likely, to see whether or not he was truly devoted. He smiled, stretching his arms out from the torn sleeves of the jacket they had put him in. Such foolish people. They probably wouldn't even notice the bloodstains and his absence until the morning. Trystan chuckled, running a hand through his shaggy black hair, his bright green eyes almost shining in the night. "Well, time to get down to business I suppose," he said to himself, rubbing his chin as he looked up to the sky and thought. The staff kept their cars in a nearby parking lot. With a mischievous grin, he made his way over the fence and into the parking lot, opening the door of a black Lincoln. The keys were in the sunvisor of all places. In a flash, the car was started, and he was on his way. Back out into the world to find the love of his life. This time she would accept him. He would not take no for an answer. Oh, he was going to have so much fun.

Loud laughter could be heard echoing through the house as Elena Michelle attempted to bathe her new puppy. She managed to haphazardly set up a kitty pool in her kitchen, a long hose snaked loosely through a crack in her door. Now, it may seem a bit odd to be washing a chocolate lab in your kitchen.. but well, it was cold outside,
ans she was a fairly eccentric person. Elena was 18 years old, a mere 5'4" with slender curves that complimented her delicate facial features, Emerald orbs that radiated a kind of warmth.

The thought of Trystan hadn't entered her mind steadily for months, but she did have the occassional drifting memory of what had happened the day she got him locked up. A momentary curiousity here and there about what he was. It had been so easy for everyone to believe herself over him, when she dubbed him a dangerous loon. The thought of him escaping the asylum, however, was one thought that hadn't crossed her mind at all...

It didn't take him long to find what he was looking for, especially given the way his foot was mashing the pedal down into the floorboard. He made a few passes by her street, hearing her laughter. He remembered when she had him locked up. Nobody believed his story, they all believed he was crazy. He wasn't or at least, he hadn't been before he was sent away. He parked the stolen car a few streets down, grabbing a jacket from the back seat and slipping it on, running a hand through his hair again before he started walking, making it to her street, then to her front door, knocking on the wood three times before placing his hands in the jacket pockets. A small smile played along the corners of his mouth. Boy, would she be surprised to see him.

A frustrated look crossed her features as she attempted to deal with the squirming pup as he thrashed about in the pool of water, near drenching the entire kitchen in the process. "Milo, hold still!" The shampoo dropped from her hand in surprise by the knocks on the door. "Come on boy." Elena picked up the small chocolate lab and placed him in his play room, that she had gated off for the purpose of guests coming over. She wasn't exactly thrilled by her now soaked clothing, but quickly went to answer the door none-the-less. When she opened the door however, her expression flatlined. "Trystan... how did you... why did they.... t-they let you out?" Her tone held a mix of fear, shock, and nervousness. This was the last person she expected to ever see again... Elena's first thought was to slam the door. Lock it. Call the police and prey they'd get here fast enough. But she was frozen in shock, heart pounding, and adrenaline pumping furiously through her body. "What do you want?" She spoke barely above a whisper now.

Trystan chuckled when she opened the door, her face falling into a look of utter shock and disbelief. When she started talking, he put a finger against her lips, grinning wider. "Well, they didn't exactly let me out... but then again, there was such little secuity there they must have wanted me to leave." He smiled at her, pushing his way inside and closing the door behind him, grabbing her by the wrists and pressing her against the wall. "You know, what you did was wrong. I was not crazy," he chuckled, shaking his head. "But now I am. And you have no one to blame for what happens next but yourself."

Putting both her hands in one of his, he pulled out a length of string, wrapping it twice around her wrists and tieing it in a quick knot at the top, like a Christmas present. "Now, do I have to gag you too, or will you stay silent until we get to the car. I have a special place I'd like to show you."

Elena didn't like the look on his face, not at all. He seemed... different. No doubt due to the torture of being locked up in a place like that for so long. Her eyes widened at his statement. They hadn't let him out, so that meant that... She very well knew his capabilities, but this was a whole new level. Elena gasped when he pushed his way inside, having little time to react as he backed her to the wall. Attempting to pull her wrists from his grasp almost seemed like a joke. Her small frame wasn't much of a match towards any man, let alone a vampire. "Trystan I'm.. sorry about what you've had to go through, but you can't do this. There must be something you want in return. Money? I mean I have wealthy friends, just name your price." Her words came out fast, and almost blended together. She was fairly used to talking her way out of situations, so she didn't see this circumstance any differently.

Trystan couldn't help but openly laugh at her offer, smirking at her as he looked into her eyes. "You're right, I do want something in return." He leaned in close enough to whisper in her ear. "I don't want your money Elena... I want you." He chuckled, nipping at her earlobe before pulling back. "I'm guessing though that since you tried to talk your way out of this, you aren't coming quietly. Well, I can fix that." He grinned widely, leading her into the kitchen. Once there, he reached under the kitchen sink and pulled out a roll of duct tape. "I'm giving you on last chance, you can come peacfully, or I can tape your mouth shut. Either way you're coming along with me."

Her expression couldn't help but hold distain for how the man laughed at her, obviously finding her offer humerous. His voice gave Elena chills as he leaned close to her, freezing at his statement. With Emerald orbs wide, and heart racing, the girl searched her thoughts frantically for a solution to the 'situation'. Sadly, she found none. Elena snapped back to reality as he spoke once more. He was smart, that much was sure. She jumped a bit in surprise as he led her to the kitchen, following his movements carefully as he reached under the sink. Duct tape... "There's no need to do anything...rash.." Her words were cautious, and she was doing her best to appear unafraid. Considering he was a vampire who'd just broken out of an insane asylum, however, it was rather difficult. "Umm, where do you intend to go?" As she spoke, her gaze had drifted away from him, and was now searching the kitchen for any possible items of defense. The question had just been to buy some time really.
