A black cat for sale there was no way that this could be real Marth thought to himself as he stared at the paper, he looked into it with his resources and he soon found that it was indeed real. There was a real black cat up for sale today, he licked his lips as he moved to the closet to get dressed to go out, it would be quick and casual. A red button up shirt that he did not bother to button up, hybrids were much less concerned with such things as that, his powerful form was covered in lavender colored scales, a set of powerful almost dangerous looking spikes ran down his back just above his powerful tail. A pair of black pants to be thrown on now, he looked into the mirror his entrancing purple eyes were reflected in it. Marth hadn't heard of a real black cat going up for auction in almost five or six years because they were so rare these days with the shifters and hybrids everywhere, he would have the black cat no matter the cost of the auction.

Now he set out on foot to the auction house taking his time even though there was a schedule to keep he was in no real rush after all. His strong form was powerfully masculine and he gave off a virile aura around him, muscles well formed underneath the scales that were quite visible to anyone who cared to look. The auction house was full of people trying to look at the pure blood black cat, there were many that had no intention of bidding at all they just wanted to see what a black cat looked like after so long. He cut his way through the crowd easily as many stepped out of the way, they knew who he was and how much power he held yet he never flaunted it about like a lot of people would. Finally he reached the front of the crowd just as the auctioneer came out "ah what a lovely gathering of people I see" he called out for all to hear.

"I bring you something which has not been seen in almost five years! something so rare and unique that even the richest of people cannot obtain it in their life times!" he was working the crowd up. Soon the auctioneer swept his hand to the side "I give you a pure blood black cat!" he cried out as his men came out with the large covered cage, "now without further ado!" he said as he pulled the sheet from the cage.

Slunk down in one of the corners, furthest away from the stage edge, Siren waited, listening to the obnoxious auctioneer boast about her capture. She had been so careless, letting herself get caught. Her father would have had a fit. She giggled at the memory softly. Her giggling interrupted by her own hissing as the drape was ripped away from the cage, the light burning into her unfocused eyes, her slitted pupils almost disappearing from her uniquely purple and ice blue eyes. Her small nose went crazy with all the different overwhelming smells of the courtyard that she could and couldn't see. Her soft tipped ears quickly flattened against her skull from all the noise of the crowd, almost blending in with her dark raven hair.

Her white dress hung loosely from her figure, ripped and tattered from her attempts to escape. It clung tightly to her chest, her breasts almost revealed, yet still hidden behind the thin veil. Sagging down to her tight and lean stomach, leading to shapely hips, and lastly, ending at well toned legs, legs designed, trained and well practiced in running. From a distance her skin appeared to be a soft night sky black, although upon further inspection, of those willing to get close to her, it could be seen that she was covered in a fine, ultra soft fur. Her claws were out and on display, a warning she hoped they would heed, although the manacles placed upon her wrists seemed to lessen the threat. Her long silky tail flicked back and forth in annoyance and anger, her clawed feet clacking softly against the floor with ever move she made.

Then she focused. Her nose had detected something odd, something powerful, from the crowd. She couldn't quite place what or who it was coming from. She began scanning the crowd in an attempt to find the power house, her nose threatening to twitch right off her face. Not being able to see one, she quickly went back to pacing about back and forth in the small cage, waiting and cursing every person at the exhibition of her shame. Listening to the auctioneer it was plain to see that she was going to be sold to someone here. She began planning her escape route, the second they opened that cage door, she was going to be a fear cat once again.

When the cover was pulled off and the young black cat female was revealed the large dragon hybrid's eyes widened a bit as he took in the sight of such a beauty, if she had been just normal looking he would have been awed but she was beautiful. The dragon hybrid felt something within that just seemed to click as he looked at her, he wanted to take her home right now away from all the hybrids that stared at her. The auctioneer broke into his thoughts "I will now start the bidding at a mere fifty thousand!" he called out for all to hear once again, hands shot up wildly as almost everyone wanted this rare beauty. Marth saw no reason to put his hand up he would let the others bid over and over until only the real bidders were left, soon enough they were at five hundred thousand when it seemed like no one else was willing to bid.

The large arm of the dragon hybrid shot up and he spoke with authority "one million" his voice strong and deep yet velvety smooth at the same time, it rang out for everyone to hear and everyone looked at him as if he were insane. One million for a simple pet was insane most of them thought it was obvious by the look on their faces, yet it was not the end of it. Another arm shot up and someone bid one point five million. So of course the dragon's large arm shot up again and he gave a confident grin "three million" he growled out loudly and there was an audible gasp from everyone in the crowd as this amount was never spent on a pet before. The auctioneer already saw that every other bidder lost their fire so his hand slapped down upon the podium and he pointed to Marth "SOLD!" he yelled out cheerfully as he just made more in his life than ever with one sale.

Hearing the battle of the prices go higher and higher, she looked from the crowd to the man behind the podium, then back at the crowd, looking for the one who had just placed a ridiculous amount of money on her. She noticed the dragon hybrid, took note of his grin, then the amount of muscle he had, and thought of how much more was being hidden in the crowd, and if she could have, she would have paled. Not only had one of the scarier patrons of the crowd paid for her, he also looked like he could back his scary. She only momentarily re thought her escape plan. She took note that the smell of power she had smelt earlier was indeed coming from the one who had just bought her, and that was all the more reason why she felt she needed to be away from here.

Waiting quietly in the cage, she sat in the opposite corner from the door. Her plan was to make whoever came to get her come into the cage with her. When they were in, she would use her agility and flexibility to get around them and trap them while she ran away. She knew it was a long shot, but she didn't want to think what would happen to her if the dragon got his hands on her. Of all the stories that her (extremely sheltered and out of date) people had of the dragon kin was that they were violent and vicious people, and that they were not to be approached or captured by, it would mean certain death. And now she was to be brought home by one? Not freaking likely, not if she could help it. She sat in wait in the cage.

The crowd was still muttering about what he had just done, Marth cared not for their words or their stares. He just smiled slightly and walked towards the cage his pet was within "it seems you are mine now little one" he said in the deep seductively smooth voice before winking at her playfully. His eyes gleamed confidently and he now he took the papers that the auctioneer gave him to sign, when being hands the papers he could feel the wolf's hand shaking with excitement at such a sell.

With the business done Marth looked to the cage once more where the workers were unlocking the cage, they also held shackles and a leash for her. He walked towards the cage as they opened the door "the shackles are not necessary" he said in a calm tone, one of the workers looked up "it's protocol sir". The worker then went to put the shackles on the black cat but a growl split through the air, the calm gentle look was gone as Marth had his lips pulled back showing off a set of vicious looking teeth.

"I said the shackles will not be needed" his eyes were cold rather than playful now and the workers could tell there was no arguing with the dragon anymore. The worker nodded and pulled away from the young woman slowly, just as quickly Marth's face went back to the calm playfulness from earlier. He walked to the edge of the cage and took the leash "put this on please little one or else the shackles will be needed" he said in a gentle but powerfully deep tone hoping she would listen though he would understand if she didn't, after all he would be inclined to resist in her situation as well.

Watching her "new owner" walk past her cage, she shrank back a little more when he smiled at her. He terrified her. Calling her his, made her shiver up and down her spine. When the cage opened, her eyes snapped to the guards, her ears flattening against her skull as she hisses. When the dragon growled she actually dropped down to all fours, hissing all the more, her throat going sore, though that doesn't stop her. She didn't take her eyes off the dragons newly bared teeth; her peripheral vision on the guards.

Watching his face shift back to the suspiciously happy, placid smile, she frowned, not sure what to think of the dragon, still very fearful of him. When he came nearer to her, she shrank back down even more. Rethinking her escape plan for the moment, terrified she would be killed if she did anything, she slowly, very slowly, unfurled from her crouch and stood up. Keeping her eye on him the entire way, she grabbed the collar from him. Frowning and pouting she placed the collar on gingerly.

She vowed at that moment to escape from him.
