Markus sat back at the dinning table. He was waiting for his daughter to come down to breakfast. He wanted to ask for her help in a few matters, and as she had just turned 16, it seemed like it was a good time to bring it up. He was a tall individual and he looked well for his age of 43, he had no grey in his short blond hair. it was clear that he kept in shape from his strong build, and he had a kind smile on his face as he sat back.
The morning light was filtering in through the kitchen window, and made everything seem soft as he gave a yawn. His job kept him up for most of the night, and so it had always been a bit of a trade, for him most of the time he slept through the day, and worked during the night, but he was always quiet on what he actually did for his work.
He was an only father, their mother having left them years ago, he had taken the responsibility of raising their daughter which had been difficult at times, but he had done his best. He stretched clearly still tired from last night, but he had always stayed up long enough to send his daughter off to school, today was no different except that he had a favor to ask of her.
