Amy always hated these lazy Saturdays, but she never let them go to waste either. She had some reading to get done for school, and there was absolutely nothing going on. Her sister was off at the mall or something, and their parents were out of town for the weekend. Everything on television was that particular kind of Saturday afternoon sucky.
So with a loud sigh she collapsed onto her bed and flipped open her English text book to read a short story her class was expected to have read by Monday. Amy hadn't even gotten dressed yet, still lounging around in her pajama pants and a white tank. She was a little small for her age, short and skinny with a chest that barely amounted to B-cups. She inherited bright red hair from her mother, and equally bright green eyes from her father, often confused with an Irish heritage. A pair of thick-rimmed glasses sat on her nose, allowing her to read the rather stale text.
"Something exciting better happen soon..."
