The sun was already starting to come up as the alarm was already yelling at Kisaru Kiriko to get up. *BEEP BEEP BEEP* It yelled at Kisaru telling her it was time to get up. "Mmmm... Just a few more minutes..." She groaned as she reached over and smacked the alarm clock. She set her alarm clock to go off earlier than she should get up so that she wouldn't be late for school. She wasn't the one to ever be late for any of her classes and thus she set her alarm to go off an hour before she even had to get ready. About half hour later her alarm went off again and she reached over to turn it off one last time. Rubbing her eyes she slowly opened them and worked her way out of bed. As she got up she slipped her feet into her slippers and made her way out of the bedroom and downstairs for breakfast before brushing her teeth and getting dressed. Yawning as she walked into the kitchen she noticed her sister was already making breakfast this morning. Kisaru twitched her ears as she tilted her head to the side and looked at her sister with questioning eyes. "I'm surprised you're up before me sis... I was going to make breakfast like I normally do before you got up but you beat me to it today. What's the occasion if you don't mind me asking?" She asked as her sister, Yumi turned around to look at her. "Eh, I just felt like waking up early to make us some breakfast for a change. You do it every morning and even wash the dishes so I thought I'd do it for a change." She replied as she finished setting the plates up with food. "Well... Thank you sis." Kisaru replied as she helped set up the table and then sat down to eat. "So what time do you have to go to work today?" She asked as she grabbed her fork and began to eat. "I don't have to go to work today, which is nice. I get the day off so it'll give me time to catch up on my school work today. Got classes tonight at the college so I might be late for dinner, forgive me?" Yumi said as she began eating. "Now I see why you made breakfast, I knew something was up with you. But okay, I'll make sure to save you dinner for when you come home tonight. Just make sure you get all your work done, okay?" Kisaru replied as she finished her breakfast and took her dishes to the sink. "Don't worry about doing the dishes today Kisa-Chan, I'll take care of them. Just go get ready for school and leave the mess to me." Yumi said as she watched her sister as she was about to start cleaning. Sighing she just placed her dishes in the sink and nodded. "Okay sis. Thank you for breakfast and for cleaning up today. It means a lot to me!" She said as she walked over to her sister and hugged her before going up to her room to brush her teeth then get dressed for school. After she finished getting ready she grabbed her school bag, checked to make sure she had all her things before she left. Leaving her room she made her way to the front door and took her slippers off, replacing them with her shoes. "I'm off now sis! See you when you get home tonight!" She called out as she walked out the door and made her way to school.
Kisaru and Yumi were a unique pair, their parents died a few years ago and left Yumi to take care of Kisaru. It wasn't easy being on this realm when they were the only ones of their kind. Kisaru was often picked on due to her long ears and in some cases was the main attraction for the guys to hit on her. Sometimes she even had other girls hit on her, but she wasn't interested in anything like that. She was a straight A student and was always top of all her classes. This school had it's own strange reputation, but didn't all schools have their own? Some say that the school was haunted by all the girls who died there 40 years ago due to some satanic ritual. But she didn't believe in all that. It was just a rumor and nothing more to her. There was girls in her homeroom class that believed in magic and even had their own little club going, she thought they were silly for believing in such things but it was their own beliefs and whatnot. As she walked to school she could hear someone calling out her name, which made her turn to look. A neko girl was running at her with high speed, causing her breasts to bounce wildly in the air. "Glad I caught up to you! I didn't expect you to be so early this morning!" The girl said as she slowed down and was panting from the long run. Blushing from embarrassment Kisaru bowed to her friend and apologized. "I'm sorry Tamao-Chan but my sis made breakfast this morning and told me she'd clean the kitchen up for me. I did bring us our lunch though so we can eat together like normal." She replied as she smiled at her friend. Sighing Tamao looked at her and then grabbed one of her ears. "You still should have waited for me Kisaru! I'll have to punish you later for this. However I do thank you for the lunch.~" She said as she let go of Kisaru's ear. Rubbing her ear she frowned at her friend. "I wasn't thinking, I'm sorry. I was a little thrown off with my sister making breakfast then saying she'd do the dishes." She replied as she pouted a bit. Smirking a bit Tamao leaned over and licked Kisaru's ear, causing it to twitch. "Mmm... Very well then. Lets get to school then shall we?" She said as Kisaru turned a deep red. "T-Tamao! D-Don't do that please! You know how sensitive my ears are!" She yelped as she turned her back and started walking again. "Your ears aren't the only ones that are sensitive so shush." Tamao replied as she started walking with Kisaru. See, Tamao was another oddity that wasn't from this realm either, she was pulled in like Kisaru and her family, but she was here since she was a mere child. People were more use to her than Kisaru and her sister, but she was the major center of attention at their school. Kisaru could get a little jealous at times when the other students spent more time with her friend, but she learned to deal with it.
Once they got to school she noticed that there wasn't many students there yet. She was always early but never this early. So she noticed some of the students getting ready for some of their club activities before classes started, which was normal. The kendo club was already getting their gear ready as well as the archery club. Kisaru always wanted to try one of them out but never thought she'd excel in them, so she went with the art club instead. Walking up to her locker she took her street shoes off and put her school shoes on as Tamao did as well. She noticed that a couple of the girls from the magic club were already arriving, probably to start their fortune tellings or whatever they did. She couldn't help but notice that Kimari Akasuki was also arriving, the leader of the magic club. Both the boys and girls looked at her with envoy for her large breasts and nicely shaped rear, Kisaru didn't see why though. As Kimari walked past she looked at both her and Tamao and smiled. "Will you join us today for our daily readings? For once please? I would be happy to read your future for you if you didn't mind.~" She said. "No thank you." They both replied as they walked off to class. When they were out of ear shot Kisaru looked over at Tamao and sighed. "Everyday she asks us that and I just don't know why. I mean, believing in magic and stuff? Does she really think that stuff is real?" She asked as Tamao shrugged her shoulders. "Well... If you think about it, we kinda don't belong to this world, yet here we are. So maybe it does exist, but maybe it doesn't. Who knows really?" She replied as they then entered the classroom.
It wasn't long before the other students started pouring into the classroom, Kimari was at her desk giving off her readings like normal before the bell rang and like always, there was a line of students just dying to hear what was in store for their futures. After about ten minutes the bell rang and everyone had to get to their seats. Not much later classes started and the day went by slowly. Lunch time came and Kimari walked over to where Kisaru and Tamao were eating. "Please, just let me read your futures just once." She asked as she had a pleading look on her face. "Did we say no thank you before?" Tamao asked as she was clearly getting slightly irritated with her. "You two don't seem to know about the truths to these readings and magic." Kimari sighed as she looked over at her friends and they gave her some kind of signal. "Very well then, at least let me tell you of what happened here 40 years ago. Hear me out and then I will never bother you two again for readings, okay?" She asked as she waited for their response. Kisaru looked over at Tamao and they both nodded. "Fine, we'll listen if it gets you off our case from being asked the same thing everyday." Tamao replied and then Kimari smirked as she signaled for her two friends to come over to sit down. "Thank you, now where to begin... Okay, about 40 years ago there was a magic club like what we have today, however they weren't your normal magic club. Rumor has it that they started out with simple readings and love spells. But then one day things changed, they started going towards the dark arts, using black magic! But that's not all of it, they say that they sacrificed living creatures for their rituals. Then, one day during the Walpurgis they gathered together for what ended up being their last ritual. They had to sacrifice a human being for their ritual to work this time, they planned to summon Satan himself! But something went wrong that night and all the girls ended up dead, no one knows what really happened there but they keep that storage room closed off for some reason. Maybe to make sure no one goes down there, but who knows. I believe it to be truth and someday I hope to find that out for real. To prove it's not just some mere rumor!" She said as she looked at both girls. Kisaru looked a bit nervous as she bit her lower lip. "So, that's why that room is closed off? I mean, the teachers just told us it was a storage room that the students weren't allowed to go into..." She said as she looked over to Tamao. Shrugging Kimari stood up and so did her friends. "Well maybe we'll be able to find out the truth again soon enough. I do thank you for at least letting me tell you this." Kimari said as she bowed to both of them and walked away with her friends tailing behind her. Looking over at Tamao again she sighed. "Do you believe what she said? Do you think something that horrible happened before?" She asked nervously and Tamao just shook her head. "To be honest I really don't know, but if what she did say turns out to be true... Then magic does exist and it might not be a good idea to get mixed up with it all." She replied as they both finished their lunch in silence as they both thought about what Kimari just said.
After lunch they both headed over to the gym for their next class. Kimari was already there, and once again not dressed for class. Their P.E. teacher wasn't going to be happy again, she was never happy when Kimari didn't dress for class. Kisaru and Tamao went to the locker room to get dressed as they did they saw their teacher walking over to Kimari with a very pissed off look on her face. "Oh boy, here we go again." Tamao said as she rolled her eyes. They both got dressed and left the locker room to begin their exercises. As they walked out they could hear their teacher yelling at Kimari. "This is the last time I let you slide by without getting dressed for class. You will be staying after school for detention today as punishment for not dressing up for the past three weeks! I've let you get by till now, hoping you'd follow orders but no more!" She yelled and Kimari, clearly looking as if she didn't really care at all, which pissed their teacher off more. After classes finished up for the day Kisaru gathered her belongings and got ready for her art club meeting. Tamao said she didn't feel like going today and asked if she'd take care of things, which Kisaru agreed to it. Saying their goodbyes Kisaru then made her way to the art room where she could see some of the students was already arriving. As she entered she saw her teacher and waved at her. "Hello there Mrs. Takamine." She said as she bowed to her teacher. "Where's Tamao? She not feeling well today?" Her teacher asked as a look of worry came on her face. "She just said she didn't feel like coming today and asked if I'd take care of things today." She replied as her teacher nodded and let her go to her desk to start working. She was wondering what was going on with Kimari and kind of scared for her, thinking maybe she was getting herself into stuff she shouldn't be. But brushed it off as she went to work on her painting while she then turned her thoughts to what she was going to make for dinner tonight and whatnot. She didn't want to make something they've had for two nights in a row again so she began working on her shopping list in her head, after all tonight was going to be a good night. At least she hoped for. She knew that the Walpurgis was coming up and was wondering how this year was going to turn out. Just two weeks away...
