All too soon, Altair had led Alexandria through the streets of Inalt and through the Slums--though thankfully through the better parts of it, something she wouldn't have known on her own--and finally to the harbors by the Azure Ocean. As they'd walked, she realized just how fortunate she'd been to have gone with him rather than on her own. She wouldn't have known to take such streets as he had and more than likely had ended up terribly lost in the Slums. What fate would've befallen her there, she didn't want to even think about it not having a clue as to where anything was in there. But luckily, things worked out as they had and now her afternoon was perfect.

In the shadows, James eyed them, a fiery jealous rage coursing through his blood as he watched the way in which Alexandria held onto the man's arm. But he kept himself hidden and at a distance nonetheless. It hadn't been easy finding the girl this time after she'd suddenly disappeared. In fact, it had been a stroke of luck. And now he knew why... that man. But he wasn't quite ready to make his appearance known to the couple. Not yet. Not yet. Seething, he just slunk back into the shadows and waited... watching them, his eyes fixed on Alexandria.

Altair knew how to navigate the slums easily. He received a report earlier lettin him know which areas were dangerous at the moment. Now with Alex he was glad he got that report when he did. They could have easily ran into trouble or stepped in on a bad situation. Luckily Altair still had ties in the Slums from his past and their stroll was pretty much uneventful. He was itching for some action which was why he chose this assignment but he wasn't getting any. That was until they exited the slums and were entering the harbor. There was a pang of manevolence a small one that was quickly covered up. Maybe he would get that action after all.

"Here we are. But I don't want you to get too excited." He tried stopping her before she got wide-eyed. If who Altair thought was the one in the shadows watching maybe he could draw the watch dog out. He leaned into her eyes and spoke softly. "I got a little surprise for you but I need you to trust me for a few seconds." He covered her eyes with his hands and came up behind her. Altair leaned in close to her keeping his body in contact with the small woman.

Altair led her around the docks until they reached their destination. They stopped in front of a personal leisure ship it held 15 people easily. It was an elegant black decorated in dark colored accents. Removing his hands he spoke again. "I'm pleased to present to you... The Star Child II." The name was etched in gold on both sides of the ship. "My small vacation home that floats."

A smile lit up Alexandria's face at the prospect of a surprise. She did like surprises, happy ones, that was. And she knew all too well that if the surprise was one given by this Mr. Silverra, it would indeed fall under such a category. She looked at Altair and nodded. "I trust you," she whispered before gasping slightly.

Alexandria turned her head to the side as she watched Altair move about her body, his own staying close to hers. She could feel his warmth, her eyes moving to his hands as he reached toward them so as to cover them. Another gasp rolled over her lips when darkness fell upon her, but soon she was smiling as her anticipation began to grow as she awaited her surprise. She wondered what it could be that he had to show her, what wondrous delight. Surely it would be magnificent. She had no doubt about it as he urged her to move forward.

Slowly, steadily, Alexandria followed Altair's lead. Though she couldn't see where she was going, she knew he wouldn't let her stumble or fall. He had her trust, her undivided attention. Soon he'd be showing her something that she was certain would be unlike anything she'd ever seen. But... what...? Oh the bittersweet agony of the wait!

Meanwhile, in the shadows, James continued to watch the two, his heart pounding while his blood all but boiled. His hands had already balled up into fists at his side, his nails digging into his palms. He could feel his one eye begin to twitch violently--something that tended to happen when he was annoyed--as he watched the man begin placing his hands on Alexandria. His Alexandria. He didn't like it when others touched her. And this man was beginning to cross lines as far as he was concerned. But what was worse? The fact that his Alexandria didn't seem to mind, the fact that she smiled and giggled each time the man spoke to her. It made him cringe and grind his teeth at the thought. Surely she wasn't in her right mind... Surely she needed him to guide her, to make her understand... Yes, that was it. Of course.

When Altair nudged Alexandria to stop, she let out a tiny giggle. "Can I look now?" she begged happily before biting down on her lip. She was anxious to see her surprise. When her eyes were finally uncovered and her surprise revealed, she let out a most audible gasp. "Oh my!" she exclaimed. The ship was beautiful, exquisite. Turning around, she looked into his eyes, her own sparkling with excitement. "This is yours? Can we... Can we board it?"

Altair was happy he gained Alexandria's trust he was slowly working his way in and his hard work would pay off in the end. Her bubbly and innocent personality was appealing in the best way. It contrasted his 'darker' side greatly. Apparently opposites did indeed attract and it looked like chemistry was working in his favor.

Before Altair could remove his hands and take things further the dark feeling from earth came back even fiercer. It made him mentally chuckle at the small dark aura that attempted to press against him. This James fellow didn't know just what he signed up for. Altair kept his horrid dark aura under wraps underneath his cleaner much more pure one. It was a trick even a novice could master. Not everyone could feel an aura on the same level as the assassins but they could feel things as someone coming of as dangerous or deadly. It was like standing in front of a criminal you could feel the malevolence subconsciously and your mind told you to get away quickly. The assassins could mask such a feeling to open up their other selves if there really was one. It was impossible to be something you’re not. If you were completely evil with no shred of mercy there was nothing to cover.

Altair probed James’ weak aura with his pure one and he was almost sure he felt a ripple. He wanted desperately to squash this insect of a man but he didn’t want to reveal himself to Alexandria not yet. She wasn’t trustworthy of such a secret yet, few were. He tried to subconsciously provoke James into approaching him but there was no sure way that it would work.

“Of course we can board it if that’s what you really desire.” He smiled nodding to the plank that led up to the deck. With half of the ship above the water and half submerged he had a lot to show her. Maybe they could even go for a little ride and she could see the fish from the lower deck windows. The only thing that slightly worried him was pirates. Sure he could have easily taken them out but at the cost of revealing himself. But that would end in the decision of killing her or letting her live. “Ladies first.” Altair held out a hand to help her up onto the boat. There was a big risk he was taking with a lot of unknown variables at play. The risk excited him and he could feel his heart pick up speed.

Immediately, Alexandria clapped her hands and giggled with giddy excitement, her dark hair bouncing slightly with the movements. She then looked up into Altair's eyes and smiled shyly, "Thank you." She was clearly elated that he didn't mind and was willing to show her around. From where she was standing, the ship looked exquisite and the chance to board one and see it close up would be a treat indeed. She'd never had the chance to board such a vessel and to do so now under such circumstances... she couldn't wait!

At that, Alexandria took Altair's hand as he helped her onto the ship. Carefully, she stepped on board, her free hand holding onto the fabrics of her skirts. A tiny giggle escaped her and she looked over at him as she did, her lips turned upward in a smile. Her happiness was apparent as was her curiosity. She wondered just what marvelous things he'd be showing her and what amazing sights she would see.

James could still see them both as they moved closer to the ship, but his anxieties rose as he watched his Alexandria board. Slowly, he stepped forward, moving just barely out of the shadows. His thoughts were going wild as his eyes filled with malice. He definitely wasn't liking what he saw. The scene unfolding before him was like a nightmare. How could she be so happy in this man's company? She barely knew him! He was practically a stranger! Yet, she was so willing to trust him as she was... it made him wonder why she'd be so willing as to let him take her on board such a ship, to entertain her as he was when all she ever did with him was try to run away. Just then, he felt a stinging sensation on his hands and looked down only to see them bleeding. He'd dug at them so hard with his worn down nails that he'd managed to break the skin.

Alexandria looked at Altair and giggled. "So what shall you show me first, Mr. Silverra?" she asked, her tone a bit coquettish as she spoke. This was one adventure she longed wouldn't end and would truly be saddened when it did. Already she found her mind working on when she might be able to have another, that was, if he wouldn't mind entertaining her again. Just then, her cheeks reddened at the thought. Still giggling, she glanced about the ship and let out a sweet sounding sigh. "It would appear you have very much to show me."

The wind was blowing hard as Alice hoisted herself off the ship and onto the docks of the harbor. Though the air was cold, she didn't have time to dwell on it or care. Besides, she was used to being deprived of luxuries and comforts. Her bastard of a Master back on Inchisoare had seen to it that she knew what it was like to be in want, not to mention need, of most things. It had been his way, his lustful and sadistic desire to see her be in pain and longing for most things. It had been sheer agony. She glanced over her shoulder when her feet touched the ground and she let out the tiniest of breaths, allowing the smallest bit of relief to wash over her at the thought that maybe... just maybe... she could be free now, her life of servitude such as it had once been over and done. Forever.

Swallowing hard, Alice turned her head away from the ships, the water and her past and looked upon the city unfolding before her. The streets looked dark and narrow--hardly the sort of place a girl such as herself should want to be alone in. But given things, she had no choice. And given her past, it was probably safer than where she'd come from. Setting her jaw, she decided to chance it. Better where she was than back on the island of Inchisoare. Crouched low and glancing about herself, she moved forward toward the rundown buildings, hoping that soon she'd find someone, anyone, who might be willing to help.

(Alice exits to The Slums of Inalt)

Altair was happy to feed into her giddiness and helped her on board swiftly. He had three floors to show her which could keep them busy even until sundown. Out on the ocean while watching the sun went down could work in his favor. It would be romantic even. She turned to smile at him and he smiled keeping up the facade that there was no danger. He turned his head away though looking behind him to peer at James who was still somewhere hidden. His aura gave off his general direction and Altair just glared silently challenging the man. James was smart not to just run and attack him and he had to give the man his respect. Altair then knew he wasn’t messing with just some thug.

Turning around again he met Alex with a smile and followed her up onto the deck. “I guess we can start from the top and work our way down. It gets better as you go further down. At the end I have a surprise for you.” He looked out over his ship which was facing out towards the open sea. The ocean wind was inviting as it called to whisk him away into the tempting sea. It was almost as majestic as flying through the air with his winged companion.

Altair briefly thought about the look on Alexandria’s face when she saw the huge eagle before her. And he was pretty sure the temptation to ride it would grow quickly. He was already planning for a second visit but he wasn’t even finished with the first. But by the contented dreamy sigh she let out he was sure a second visit was in the picture. A man came from below deck and Altair was happy to see that his captain was aboard the ship. Or really the man that took over when Altair tired of the wheel and giving orders. “Captain prepare us for departure. Just a leisurely trip really nothing serious. I’m sure the only thing that needs to be prepared is the deck and first sublevel correct?” A small nod told him he could continue. “Good please let me know when you’re ready to depart captain.” With another nod the captain disappeared below again.

Turning to Alexandria again he smiled. “You don’t mind a little trip right?”

"That sounds just lovely," Alexandria stated with a smile, her tummy fluttering a little at the notion of a surprise waiting for her at the end. She wondered just what sort of surprise Altair could have for her at the end of this tour of his fine ship. Surely it would have to be something magnificent. Everything about the afternoon had been wonderful and so much more than she'd ever hoped for. So she knew it would be something remarkable that she'd never forget. And the fact that somehow... some way... they'd managed to elude James... it just made her heart skip a beat.

Meanwhile, back on shore, James' eyes found those of the man escorting his Alexandria. In that moment, he had all he could do to hold his resolve and not leap onto the vessel itself. Thoughts of taking out his knife and plunging it into the bastard's heart--grip, plunge, done--entered his mind. But that wouldn't get him anywhere. It would only serve to frighten the girl, drain the redness from her cheeks and take the sparkle from her eyes. No. He couldn't act in that way. Not yet. Not unless he became desperate. And he wasn't quite desperate. Yet. Again, he looked down at his bleeding palms, his blood boiling, his anger seething.

Alexandria giggled and bit down on her lip as Altair suddenly spoke to another man who approached--the captain. Her heart began to race a bit at the excitement of everything and her smile only broadened when Altair asked her if she'd like to go on a trip. "Oh my," she gasped. "I would love it!" She reached for his arm to gently touch him, her cheeks flushing red with heat as she giggled softly, making her happiness at the idea known. "How exciting! I've never sailed the seas before." She averted her eyes briefly, slightly embarrassed at the tiny admission, but when she looked back into his eyes, her joy at the idea was still rather apparent, not to mention just how much these more recent gestures meant to her. "Thank you for this. For all of it. This is wonderful."

James continued to watch from shore, slinking back into the shadows with eyes narrowed into slits. His heart was pumping faster as he watched the ship. The thing was looking as if it were readying to leave. To leave? Just what was this madness? His Alexandria was on board a vessel with someone who was practically a stranger and she was going to take a joy-ride with him? He buried his face in his still bleeding hands knowing there wasn't much he could do. The man she was with had taken note of his presence, to move now would be foolish. He'd be outnumbered, in someone else's territory, the victory here wouldn't be his but this man's instead. At that, he let out an angry sigh. Alexandria would hear about this once he was able to retrieve her and, if he had his way, she'd never leave the house again. Not ever.

The Star Child II held many different ‘surprises’ especially if you knew what you were looking for. It could easily turn into the perfect vessel to carry a small group of assassins. Hidden weapon racks, an Apothecary lab, and a few other treats. But on the outside it was just a normal ship for voyages out onto the sea. The luxury of the ship was grand even classy. It had taken Altair a while to get the ship but he often rewarded himself. He came from nothing just a street rat in the Slums. He rose up above it though his hidden profession taking him to heights he never knew. He even had a few other establishments to work as his cover.

Altair was beginning to realize that Alexandria was an excitable girl. He got this fuzzy feeling whenever he made her happy. Naturally all his training was trying to bury such feelings. But all it was doing was making that fuzzy feeling stronger. Getting attached would only weaken him it didn’t stop him from opening his mouth yet again. “Don’t worry about it not everybody had sailed the seas before even when they’re so close to it. I’m just glad to be the one to give you some of your firsts.” Maybe it had a meaning beyond the obvious but Altair would never openly admit it.

“Well let’s get this started the faster we get the tour started the faster we can get to your surprise.” He locked his arm in her’s and began the tour. He showed her the first deck which was mostly just for sunbathing there was a small pool in the center. Everything else was mostly for the crew’s use. The first sublevel was where the party really started. The bar was on this level as well a small dance floor. A smirk came to Altair’s face knowing the deadly hidden things underneath it. As well as the bedrooms were Altair gave her a thorough look. Secretly he wanted nothing more than to lock the door and toss her to the bed. But a gentleman behaved himself in the presence of a lady.

The bottom floor was amazing in his opinion. It was all glass except for the furniture that lined the outer glass and a few seat in the middle. You could see clearly all the sea creatures that swam past. A call from the captain let them know they were departing. Altair felt the ship move and looked through the glass as more of the ocean came to life. “I love this floor because I’m so close to the sea without even getting wet.”

"I appreciate your kindness and understanding then, Mr. Silverra," Alexandria began, her lips turned upward into a smile. She then leaned closer to Altair, giggling softly as she did so. "And I rather fancy starting the tour sooner than later." Still smiling she held onto his arm a bit tighter.

Alexandria was definitely bubbling over with excitement as Altair led her through his amazing ship. The Star Child II was quite a wonder to behold, the sights on board making her tummy flutter as she was brought around and shown things. She could feel her cheeks heating up with mild embarrassment at her almost child-like behavior, but she honestly couldn't help herself. She'd never been allowed to see such things, always being cooped up inside or followed so closely by the likes of James Breckinridge. It was a wonder she'd managed to see the square of Inalt on occasion when she thought about it. So, having these moments--these experiences--it was a treat, to be certain and she was relishing every second.

When Altair finally brought Alexandria to the lowest level, she couldn't help but suck in a sharp, audible breath. "Oh... my...!" she exclaimed. Her dark eyes went wide as she glanced all about herself, taking in the vision of fish swimming about them on the other side of the glass. She then looked into Altair's eyes, her own sparkling with life and awe. "This is beautiful, just... breathtaking." She smiled genuinely and as the ship moved about the rocking water, her footing faltered ever so slightly causing her to fall against him.

On shore, James seethed with anger. He watched the ship leave the dock of the harbor, his Alexandria drifting off to sea for the time being. He knew she'd be back before long, but that didn't make his anger or paranoia subside any. No. He was upset, frustrated and the girl would know it later. He'd kept his feelings hidden from her for far too long. It was time she knew. It was time for a lot of things...

Altair had been slightly turned when she let out her rather loud gasp. The words left her lips and he chuckled silently to himself. He beamed inwardly and slowly led her to the back of the room as the ship left for sea. Bringing them to a fine love seat he sat down leaving room for her. It was pretty close to the glass with the back of chair facing to windows. These seats were in the perfect place to sit and make conversation. If you wanted to look out to the sea all you had to turn your head a little to either side. But his attention was all on Alex and all of her beauty.

“I never get tired of such a beautiful view of the marine life. However I’m distracted by you m’lady. Your beauty outshines the spectacular view behind us.” He felt confident in his flirting skills but he wanted to know more about her. Unfortunately this had a little to do with the reason he was here in the first place. “I’d like to know more about you though. You captivate me and excuse me but your lack of experiences captivates me. Your story has got to be a fantastic one to tell.” He leaned in closer to her pretty much closing most of the distance between them. His arm went behind her resting on the back of seat where she was sitting.

He was hoping to make things a little more intimate. Not wanting to go too far and further grow attached to her. But he would get close enough to satisfy his ego and stay a reasonable distance away. Altair was a man of many things pride, chivalry, honor, and darkness. What else could he ever need to get women flocking to his feet? Women felt a pull to him and he opened such a pull with open arms. Although he found himself unable to treat Alex like the many other flocks of women. She was… different.

A blush swept over Alexandria's porcelain pale cheeks as Altair paid her the compliment, mentioning the fact that she posed as a distraction in comparison to the magnificent surroundings that seemed to engulf them both due to the amazing effects of the glass windows all about them. He definitely had a way with words and his presence only added to the atmosphere. She liked that he seemed so interested in getting to know her, that somehow of all the people that meandered Inalt, she was the one that captured his attentions. She had no idea how she became that fortunate girl, but... she did. And now she was on board his vessel with him, their bodies close as he inquired about her, her life.

"Oh, I don't know if my story is all that fantastic, Mr. Silverra," Alexandria began. "I'm but a girl originally from Miljoc and..." her voice trailed as it suddenly got softer. She remembered that fateful day of long ago, the one when she'd lost her parents. It was a day that altered her life forever, a day when she forever would be alone--except for the company of James. "And unfortunately, my parents are no longer with me." She paused a moment as she heard her voice begin to falter. Once she regained her composure, she continued. "They died nearly 10 years ago in a carriage accident. My father had business in Munte and my mother was to accompany him." Again, she paused. "There was an accident. Though what happened exactly, I was never told. I just know that both died and I was immediately packed up and brought to Inalt so that I could live with my cousin, Robert. I hardly see him though." She giggled sadly. "I wonder if he even knows I live in his house sometimes. Anyway, a friend of his family's has a son, James. James is the one who was hired to watch over me, though I wish he didn't."

Alexandria stared at her lap just then, her thoughts going dark. She wished her life had been different, that her parents had never died, that she didn't have to worry about James breathing down her neck every waking moment. In fact, she was surprised that she'd managed to board the vessel without the brute's intervention. It was strange, to say the least. Surely, she'd be hearing about her absence later on and she dreaded it most terribly.

"James is the watch dog, Mr. Silverra," Alexandria continued. She then looked up into Altair's eyes. "And that watch dog frightens me."

Altair was contemplating on his next move. Once he got the information out of her that he needed then the possibilities were endless. He could have eased off from the flirting or take it a step further. The latter was much more appealing the former and began planning out. In an expensive ship with a woman who wanted to explore luxuries she never experienced before he could barely decide. One thing he did know however was that his hands were itching to caress every inch of her body. They were resting on his legs now impatient to give Alexandria more... sensual attention.

"A story is intriguing no matter the history because it comes from someone else's experiences." He listened intently on her story and her ties to her politician of a cousin. The man that was in question the one Altair was possibly going to kill in a day or two. This was a trial involving a witness without either of them being the wiser. He knew that if he indeed had to kill Robert that he would be taking away another of Alexandria's relatives. Possibly her last one. Like it or not he had to do it because it was his blood that tied him to the creed to never allow such a threat to live. It was one or thousands no matter how much he might like Alexandria.

"I'm sorry for your loss. I never knew my father the bastard impregnated me and my brother all within the course of two years. To make it worse he left us before we were even born. Our mothers learned about each other when I was about 7 or 8 making my brothers, Leo and Michael, about 6 or 7. They abandoned us all in their hatred forcing us to live here in Inalt in the slums." Altair slowly gripped his thighs tighter and tighter as the story continued. It always disgusted him when he thought about it. "It was there that we had to fight for ourselves and pick up professions early. However I wanted more for my brothers and it was a fateful encounter with a man that enlightened me and opened doors." He kept his story vague so as not to lie nor fully tell the truth.

"I quickly learned and by 15 I was accomplished and was already taking on other side ventures to bring in money. Leo didn't like my profession and decided to take up the law. While Michael took on the more rebellious route taking a job more on the wild side." Altair was starting to calm down and released his thighs a little. He tried his hardest to recompose himself. "We split and ever since I've been living luxurious in Inalt. Although I visit our less fortunate residents and help out. Speaking of which I should help with your watch dog problem." He might even get to end that miserable jackal of a man after all. All he had to do was set up the right situation.

"I'd be more than happy to become your escort whenever you need one." It would help Altair peer in on and possibly even meet Robert. "I'll make sure that he can never bother you again. With me at your side I can provide comfort as well as stability and safety."

Altair's words caused a warmth to grow deep in the center of Alexandria's core. She could feel it spreading throughout her body, sweeping across her limbs and most definitely across her cheeks. It was nice being the center of his attentions, knowing that he was so intensely wishing to know things about her--her past, her present. She had to admit his own story very much intrigued her, fascinating her on several levels. To have been abandoned, left to an unknown fate and somehow overcoming all obstacles only to come out on top... it was a wonder indeed, and to think he had two brothers he had to look out for as well. Yes, it made her respect him all the more, made her admire everything he'd managed to accomplish.

Alexandria nodded at Altair just then. The idea of spending more time with him was truly appealing. She certainly wasn't fond of James. In fact, he frightened her terribly and she feared that there would eventually come a day when he'd make an advance. Though she knew herself a bit naive in many ways, she was astute enough to pick up on his manner. And it was something she dreaded would be upon her sooner than later.

"Mr. Silverra, you would do that?" Alexandria then spoke, more than asked. Her cheeks flushed just a bit more and she averted her gaze for a brief moment. "For me?" She looked back into Altair's eyes once more, her own searching his for... something. "I think I should like that very much. I can think of no one else I'd rather see to my safety or... my comfort."

Altair felt really noble helping out Alex because it wasn't for his own or the guild's personal gain. He was happy to generally want to help somebody. It was a rare thing for him even if later it might help him out some. "Of course I would do that for you my little damsel. I've already helped you so far so I'm sure I'm already on his list. Why mot help out my special woman with her rabid dog problems." Altair rose from the chair with a stretch walking a few feet away before stopping. "I've shown you my ship and the wonderful ocean that currently surrounds us. I think our trip is coming to an end however. We should be circling around back to port right about now." He turned again and walked back to her and held out his hand to help her up.

"Why don't we watch the return above deck." Altair led Alex up to the top again and spotted the captain just as he was about to come get them. "Thank you for the thought Steven I figured we were almost back by now." Altair dismissed the captain who saluted and went about his business. Altair returned his attention back to his guest as he finished playing host. "And that concludes our wonderful sail into the ocean and back." He smiled brightly but he wondered what would happen now that they were back. But he had to take care of first things first.

"Are you done with your little adventure? Should I escort you back to your place?" He wanted to try and get as close to her home as possible there was a chance he might run into her relative. Altair still had an objective to meet before the day ended. It would be nice if he could stay with her as long as possible.

Special woman. The words hardly went unnoticed by Alexandria as they were muttered by Altair as he spoke. She couldn't help but smile as he said them, her hand going up to her mouth to conceal the upward turn of her lips just a bit as she did so. Of course, the gesture did nothing to hide her expression. Her cheeks turned a nice rosy shade and the warmth that had started to grow and spread turned to a blazing heat, a fire. This man's pretty words had definitely enraptured her, capturing her attentions just as she seemed to be the center of his. She watched him as he got up, her ears focusing on every subsequent word he needed or felt the urge to say.

Alexandria nodded just then. "Yes, that sounds lovely," she responded, though there was a slight heaviness to her tone. The idea of going above deck was bittersweet. Surely the sun had set making the sky a beautiful canvas of twilight color. But it also meant she'd soon be returning to shore and thus parting ways for a time from Altair. The idea of having to leave him didn't set well, though she figured part of that was due to her own silliness and naivete.

Once above deck, Alexandria stayed close to Altair. She kept her eyes fixed on the sky, not wanting to look at the harbor as they approached. James was lurking in the shadows over there. Somehow she just knew that, felt it. The thought of it made her uneasy and so she moved a bit closer to her newly chosen escort. Briefly, she turned her head and looked over at Altair, smiling warmly as she did.

"I don't want my adventure to end, Mr. Silverra," Alexandria admitted. "I fear the dog may follow me, that he's watching." She turned to look at Altair once more. "Stay with me a bit longer?" she then asked. "And when the time is right, please see me safely home?" She smiled then, her stance shifting just a bit more until her arm brushed against his.
