Ino sighed slightly, running her fingers through her blonde ponytail as she leapt from tree branch to tree branch. At only 14 she had been sent out by herself to track...well...a rumour at best. There had been reports of some kind of rogue ninja from the grass village operating in the area, and because of her special knowledge with plants and flowers, she had been selected to go out alone.

"Damnit....I hate solo missions....if anything happens nobody knows where I am or what's happened...." She grumbled and leapt to another branch, starting to look around. "Ok....this is the area where he's supposed to be...." Everything looked normal....the plants were the same....and there was no signs that anyone had been in the area lately. "Come on.....if you're here just show yourself already...."

Off in the distance, sitting on a rock in a clearing seemed to be a young man with long light brown hair wearing a pine-green jacket with his back to her. As if completely not even paying attention to what was going on, a book in the person's hand. What She didn't see was the traps grown around the rock the person was sitting on, ranging from simple snares, to pit traps to exotic ones that did god-knows-what. Now he just had to wait for her, the kusa nin already knew she was there and had prepared a unique welcome for her, that figure on the rock was just a decoy, a clone meant to lure her into the open. The real one was tailing behind her, higher in the trees and made absolutely no sound as he used a kusa-only jutsu to walk through the trees and teleport from one t o the next.

Ino eventually spotted the figure in the distance, sitting in the center of a small clearing. She came to a stop eventually, a little ways from the clearing's edge, frowning as she looked over at him, attempting to survey the area for any further ninja or traps. She couldn't see anything off hand....the plantlife looked normal and there wasn't anything else that looked out of the ordinary. Perfect....he seemed to be distracted by a book, probably confident he wouldn't be found this deep in the forest.

With a smirk, Ino suddenly set off again, leaping swiftly and silently to the clearing's edge, dropping down and lunging across it at the kusa nin's back, a kunai at the ready. She was going to try and take him prisoner, but if he resisted too much.....well....
