Blake had decided to ignore the rules of her small colony, venturing out from a thick grove of trees in search of something exciting. She was sick beyond belief with being cooped up among her people, only hearing stories of the world beyond. She wanted to have her own adventures, make her own stories, and live her own life. In her mind, it really wasn't too much to ask. Never mind the horror stories of Nekos being kidnapped by humans, or other power creatures to be used against their will; Blake had figured they were merely old wives tales meant to scare the kittens into staying close to home.
Blake snorted to herself as she nimbly hopped from one tree branch to another. Her dirty blonde hair, tied up with a leather cord at the nape of her neck, fluttered as she moved. The black shawl around her slim shoulders helped keep her warm in the early bite of the morning air. When she'd left most of her people were still asleep, which was good for her. She'd be well ahead of anyone should they raise alarm with her disappearance, but for now, she didn't want to think of that because a new sun was rising for her.
