Blaze came onto the main road through the small town. He sighed deeply letting his fingers brush through his shoulder length auburn hair his emerald green eyes took a moment to look over the town. Two days on the road from the university, he had finally reached the nearest town and it was time to start. After his doctoral thesis had guaranteed him a spot in the top research team in the world, Blaze had taken the last two years gaining what information he could from that team. Now it was time to prove his entire thesis wrong.
The world had for the longest time had pokemon that worked with the humans in different ways from helping with different tasks, to the ever popular pokemon leagues that drew huge crowds to watch humans pit pokemon against pokemon. However in the last few years some things had started to change, no longer were pokemon just cute little animals or powerful creatures, many of them were turning human in appearance; and there was a marked increase in the number of female pokemon.
This was what the team had been trying to stop, something they had been worried about and something that his thesis proposed a solution for. There was however one thing that he hadn't put into his study for the thesis, but still had become evident while doing the research, the number of human female's born was decreasing, at the same time as the rate that the so named pokegirls were growing in number.
Leaving in the dead of night from the university Blaze had come out into the world planning to prove his theory, the one that no one knew about, that he hadn't put into his thesis. Pokegirls were replacing the need for female humans…eventually there would be a total shift.
He couldn't be sure of course but that was the theory and he had to search it out and find if it was even a possibility. He cleared the thoughts from his head slipping his Stetson back onto his head pulling the front down a little as he continued down the road. Making it about half way into town he heard the sound of what seemed to be a fight going on. Turning into an alley following what seemed to be the source of the sound he came to the sight of a group of men fighting with someone that was under three of four of them. From the sounds it seemed the one they were holding down was a woman from the sound of the voice.
