Acheron is a sparsely populated planet and part of the Barbaric Rim. The Illuminati has turned over its control to its trusted officials and representatives it has sent there, letting them rule the planet as they see fit. As such, the planet suffers much and piracy and other illegal activities tend to occur quite often not to mention there is corruption of the worst kind within the ranks of those governing the planet itself. The terrain is fairly wild and heavily wooded with a few mountain ranges. The planet also experiences all four seasons yearly, though its Winters and Summers tend to be very harsh.​
