Thanks for looking :) I have an idea that I'm really interested in roleplaying and I'm looking for a partner. My idea is that a two person team( one male, one female) are sent to investigate a newly discovered planet. It is the first planet discovered by humans that is able to sustain life. The team explores the planet together and adventure and smut follow.
I'm looking to make it a fairly long rp, depending on how we want to take it. I'm also willing to explore the story and scenario together, giving it an organic flow from both of us. I'm willing to go in a variety of directions and that's something we can discuss too. The only hard no I have is that the person I'm roleplaying with is a female.

my interest is peaked, did you have any idea's on types of planet and perhaps types of training the partners would have been given. For example, perhaps marine training or speciel ops or even airforce with a science focus like biology? The more details you can spare me the better the idea for a female I can make. Also let me know if you wanted to so this in a forum or through PM. Please and Thank you!
 
Thanks for the reply. As for the planet, I was thinking either an earth-like planet or a forest planet. Those environments should provide for interesting encounters and exploration. For the team, the male would be the " soldier" of the two, a spec force operator who was transferred temporarily to the Explorer Corps. He has some science and linguistic training, but he's mainly the protection for the team.
The female would be the scientist of the team. She has only basic military knowledge because she was a scientist who was given a military commission. She can be any branch of service you want her to be. She would be the ranking officer and leader of the team and the male would be her subordinate.
I would like to rp in PM too.
 
Sounds very interesting! I do like the idea of the earthlike planet, otherwise the forest like one would be very Avatar like. Exploration is key I assume, and so there would be a lot of gathering of things and test tubes and notes in a journal? Would there be any knowledge of the planet before these two are sent out? of the animals and indiginous people if there are any? How technologically advanced would they be at that day and age of exploration? I hope you don;t mind my slightly probing questions about all of this. I would think air force, they tend to study science more.
Roleplaying in PM would be fine with me I have no qualms against that. Hopefully this will work out for both of us.
 
I don't mind the questions, it helps create and form the scenario better. I'm glad we both like the earth-like planet. The team is sent to explore so the gathering of fuana and organics would be what they are gathering. Their team is the advance party, sent to examine the benefits and dangers of a full fledged exploration. They have no idea of the animals or indigenous people. It will be something that takes them by surprise.
I'm thinking that the people would be stone or bronze age level. A level of civilization that they believe the explorers are gods. I'm willing to go with a more advanced culture if you have a different idea.
 
I was thinking two... one lower and one higher both at war with each other. But both of them, very willing to help, seeing as the gods are stronger and have much better weapons. Now how long has the team been together? This is the first time at all? They know of each other? Or perhaps they've been given a report. Were they chosen to work together? did you want to do full character bios?
 
That sounds good. This is the first time that the team has worked together. They know of each other, but that's about it. They were both chosen to be the first one the planet, she volunteered, he was ordered. You can write a bio for your character but keep it secret from me. I want them to not know much about the other, so they can learn as they explore and their views can be conflicting and make for an interesting adventure.
 
would these be good families they both come from or purely skill chosen? Any differences in human genome from now to the time period they are in? Such as different hair color or skin colors? Eyes or anything? Would she be a linguist as well? Or purely an observer of science. Or is that something you would leave up to me? What kind of supplies? would they be able to have a base camp or a constructed structure of some type that they fortify against any animals or anything? Would there be any knowledge of any life on the planet?
 
They are chosen because of their skills. The skin color and hair color, I haven't thought about so that is completely up to you on how you want your character to look. The linguist issue is also something that is up to you. Their shuttle would be the base camp. It would house their supplies too. And they have no knowledge of any life on this planet.
 
Alright so as far as they know, base creatures and plant life as well as water of some kind yes? They are chosen for their skill in their respective fields and they would be concerned with fulfilling their mission as best as possible. Their camp ould be their shuttle, and it would house their gear and what she would need to safely analyze and research what she finds. Alright I like it. When would you like to begin? And in PM Correct?
