When things cleared up a bit the two found a place and began to build up a town with a few other people. Starla, however, managed to survive and forged on ahead. Terrified and alone, fearful that all hope was lost, Starla happened upon a gated community. Upon learning about the community and feeling a strong connection toward one of its members (its leaders), she decided to stay permanently, realizing that she did indeed belong there.

History: Carson was born and raised in Vegas by his father who was also a mechanic and worked to teach his son the family business but yet allowing Carson the ability to take another path if he so chose. His father taught him to be a mechanic more as to give his son an out just in case what ever Carson got into fell through then he would still have a skill to fall back on.

When his younger sister was born, he looked out for her like any brother should though he did notice her dislike of mechanic work but still he did the job of teaching her how to do it. Eventually as they got older, his sister signed up for the military using the skills that he and his father had taught her. Carson from that moment swore to do the opposite of his sister and not ever use something he built or fixed for that purpose.

After she went off to the military, he continued to work in his father's shop while going to college getting his degree in mechanical engineering. Most expected he was going to leave home after he got his degree but he continued to work in the shop with higher pay.
