Pim darted through the air, following the sound of the horse. She moved rapidly, so fast that a human would be hard pressed to follow her with their eyes. Closing her wings, she dove in between a few branches, grabbed one and spun around it in ways that would make an Olympic gymnast envy her, then used the momentum to catapult herself further, once again beating her wings fast to gain even more speed, closing in on the galloping horse.
She had been resting on a sunny rock when she had first heard it. Well, 'resting' might not be the exact word.. let us just say that pixies have quite healthy libidos, and can be quite enthusiastic, even when alone. Once she heard the sound of galloping, she had soon forgotten what she was doing, and was in the air, scouting. She had spotted the horse easily enough, and had even glimpsed the rider.
Now she was tailing the horse as fast as she could. Taking care not to be noticed by the rider. She was giggling as she flew, the chase giving her a rush of adrenaline. Slowly, she was catching up, right now she should be able to get a good look at them, perhaps even to see where they were going..
