The world was split in to two different plains the mortal and the spiritual. On spiritual plain there were those who flew in the sky, were made of pure light because of the wings on their backs and the goodness they spread throughout the land of the mortals. They were named Angels. The lesser known entity in the spiritual plain, that varied staying on the ground as well as in the sky, were made of pure darkness. These were also named by mortals as Demons. Both sides had higher power beings that they deemed their kings. The two kings never saw eye to eye, they were always at each others throat arguing on how the mortal plain should be run. Angels wanted there to be peace and harmony to reign over the land but for Demons this was the most boring way to live they wanted chaos and war. A war ensued due to the disagreement between the two kings.

Years have gone by now and the war has raged on causing effects on the mortal plain. If the war leaned more towards the demons the lands would go through drought and famine, lean more to the angels and the Lands would Prosper and flourish. The kings grew sick of the back and forth of small battles that determined nothing. They placed a wager on their children, the eldest accompanied by three of their choice shall meet and fight until the death.

Tenma the eldest son of the demon king was eager to go to battle. The three demons to accompany him are the demons small attack force, these three are also his friends. the four of them together made 'the four horsemen' A name given them by their demon brothers. Tenma and his team met in front of his father, who debriefed them on the current status of the war. "son," the ground shook at his words, they filled the air with a heavy atmosphere that would kill lesser demons. "I and The king of Angles have made a wager on your life. The eldest child of each kingdom shall meet on the battle field and fight to the death. The war shall be determined on the victor of your fight. I hope you understand the weight left on your shoulders my child."

Tenma knelt down showing his respect to his father "I understand father, I shall return with the head of our enemy. I shall also return for the throne which I shall take from you." Gasps filled the air at his bold statement, to threaten not only the king but his own blood. Laughter washed over the awkwardness that engulfed the room. The king looked down at his son, he could see the determination in his eyes the blood lust that emitted from his aura. "I shall await your return my son and if you can defeat me then the throne is yours. If I win you life is mine." There was a deathly silence of acceptance as Tenma turned and left the throne room.

Walking out of the kingdom on the trail leading to the forest of sorrows. "Oni, Grim, Coffin are you with me till the end?" The three friends looked at him smirking "of course we are, war brothers to the end." spoke oni as the other two nodded approving Oni's words. they reached the forest in little to no time making camp to draw attention to their location. Eager to start fighting they did every thing to make them self's known.

Rea was the only child of the King of Angels. For years she had been held back from the war, her father claiming that she didn't belong there though. Now, she was going to be front and center. She had been told that the only thing that could stop the war now was the fight between her and the demon king's son. Rea didn't know who he was or where he was. All she knew was that eventually they were going to fight alone in the realm while the others watched. She didn't mind it much. Whether she won or lost, the war that had destroyed almost their entire world in the years it had raged would be over.

In the distance of the tree she was sitting in on the other end of a wide field Rea could see a bit of smoke trailing up from the ground. Were they stupid or just that arrogant to make a campsite in pain sight? The three that accompanied Rea waited at the bottom of the tree until she had made her way down. "Ivy, Ginger I need you guys to go scout. See what you can hear from them, anything useful. Cinn, you are to stay here with me." The three had been together always since they were born. Now they were either going to live together, or die together.

Tenma and his team at in front of the camp fire roasting the meat of a poor creature that had the unfortunate run in with them. Ripping the meat from the stick Grim was the first to speak. "So are we waiting for them to make the first move?" The food spilling out with every word. "Well if the camp fire doesn't lead them here your food trail will." said Coffin punching Grim's mouth shut. Tenma looked out into the woods staring at the darkness that covered them. "yes, we did this to lure them too us. At least then they won't have the drop on us cause we'll be expecting them." He spat into the fire causing it to roar. Tenma stood up looking back at his team "What kinda of kid do you think the angels sent? war vet, highly powerful?" They looked at him "I think you give them to much credit Tenma." Said Oni "they probably sent a fruit with no war experience." Shaking his head Tenma turned around "no...For a wager of this magnitude they sent out the best I'm sure."

Tenma leaned on a tree watching the woods, the silence drove him insane. his mind was filled with ways he would battle the child of angels but they were nothing more then that, thoughts. His hunger for battle was growing at the prospect of a great fight. the grass around him turned brown and wilted under heat. Oni came up behind him throwing water on him "no use in lighting the woods on fire, there would have been to point to the camp." The water on Tenma had all but dried up on him by time he finished his statement. "I'm just over excited about the fight with the angels." Oni shook his head "well don't fret it, they know by now where we are and if their smart, have already scouted us out." Tenma nodded "your right...let us wait a little longer to see what the night unfolds."

The two other girls came back shortly, giving Rea their report. They hadn't gotten very close, but deduced that there were three of them, just like there was of them. Rea leaned against a large boulder, thinking of what to do. She didn't have that much fight experience, but she did have fighting skills. Hopefully that would be enough. Rea decided just to attack them and hope they that weren't expecting an attack. She got her bow and arrow ready and began to sprint through the field between them. The other girls hung back a good bit, but still followed. It was only to a be 1x1 fight, the others were just here to help with supplies and be messengers between the children and parents.

The girl stopped about a hundred feet away and knelt down, hiding herself in the tall grass. There were several options that she had. One would be to run away not and just wait for them. The other would be to storm the camp, or the third would just be to let arrows fly. Rea chose the third. She set her arrow in the bow again and aimed. She had absolutely no idea who her target was, as all three of them were sitting near each other, so she let a show out at one who had just been hit in the mouth apparently.

Tenma still had an unease felling following him as he reentered the camp. An arrow flew past him nailing Grim in the arm "There here!" Tenma yelled spiting a wall of fire around their camp. "Grim get you lazy ass on your feet, the enemy is knocking." Grim ran to his pack his limp arm held against his body, using the demonic ointment he healed him self fast. "Oni how many have you pointed out." Tenma yelled running to where he was sitting taking a sword from underneath. "I only count one so far, the arrow gave away their position." Oni was an expert marksmen in the demon kingdom, he could pinpoint someone from the wound they left. His demonic eye spots anything that moved in a 3 mile radius. However the angle that shot Grim knew how to hold her spot Oni didn't spot her but, he did spot her three friends that were closing in on her. "Tenma we got three on the move, they're about a yard away. I think their looking down on us only sending three to fight us."

Tenma unsheathed his sword, running his fingers along the blade it began to glow. He brought the glowing blade to his face whispering some words to it before it burst into flames. "Let's show them that was the biggest mistake they could do." He said as Grim, refreshed for battle and ready for revenge, ran out past Tenma's flames followed by Coffin. The two taking Tenma's lead ran to meet the enemy head on. Oni said back with his crossbow scanning the area ready to pick off the angels, releasing an arrow for the lead runner of the three to repay the favor of picking off Grimm.

She silently cursed herself when the arrow only hit the demon in her hand. Not only had she now given her spot away, but she could just barely see them grabbing their weapons. Rea motioned the other girls over to her and they crouched next to her. The girl blamed her father for what might happen next. He had never allowed her the real world experience that she really needed to prepare herself for this fight. All three girls then began to let arrows fly towards the demons. They had might as well start firing as much as they could now, as their position was already given away. When the enemy began to march forward they would retreat back into the woods, but not until then.

"Coffin! Take out those arrows." And on Tenma's commands Coffin lead the group swinging his scythe creating a vail of darkness, the arrows seemed to have pierced the darkness but alas the darkness swallowed the arrows. Falling back on one knee, anything that hit Coffin's dark shadow gave him mediocre wounds. Grim who was still furious about the arrow he took to the arm took the lead. He swung his giant club smashing the ground causing a minor quake, from there he leap in the air but by then there was a new rain of arrows. Grim met the arrows head on unfortunate for him he didn't win, being knocked down again Tenma was the only one charging. the arrows were to wide spread to hit him, he was closing the distance on them fast and any arrow that look like it would hit was diverted by Oni's arrows. Tenma was on top his enemy looking down at the angels "They send us women? and such scrawny women at that. where is the eldest of the angel king? my fight is with him." Oni had his eye locked on Rea for any sudden movements.

A smirk was upon Rea at taking down two of the demons until who she presumed the leader of them was only a few inches from her. She slunk back, looking up at him with widened eyes. Maybe now was the time to talk herself up. "Well, it seemed that a women was the one who was able to take down two of your men so easily." Her voice sounded a lot stronger than she really was. The two other girls had been minor hurt in the quake, taking hits to the head. It seemed as if it were only the two of them now, as it had been intended. Rea leaned back on her elbows so she could see him better, but did so slowly. His eyes were fixed on her body and she didn't want to bring about any quick reactions to her movements.
