Dureke walked into the back of the café he worked at and after making sure there was nothing else he needed to do then went into the back to clock out and get his bag. Once he had grabbed his bag he walked back out front and grabbed a coffee then left the building. As he walked to his car he glanced around more out of habit than any believe that he would see anything but old habits die hard. Once he had gotten into his car he pulled out his phone and went into his voice mail. After the phone was on speaker he started the car. As he listen to a few new translation jobs he headed home but took a detour to a shop where he could pick up a few ingredients he had not had. When he got to the store he parked outside and ran his fingers through the short brown hair that covered a few small scars that covered the back of his skull.

When he got out of the car he quickly walked inside and shivered slightly while walking through the entrance. He never got a good vibe when he was in the store but this was the only place he could get what he needed. As soon as he had picked up what he needed he went to the owner and paid before leaving. As soon as he got back into his car he drove the rest of the way home listening to radio. Arriving home he parked in the garage and turned up the radio as the news came on. Once it was over he shut off his car and walked inside.

After grabbing a beer he walked into the basement and put down the bag of ingredients he had bought on the floor. He took a swig on his beer before setting it down and grabbing a piece of chalk He set to work. When he was done he leaned his slim body back against one of he support beams and drained the last of his beer. He soon got up and picked up the book he had found while looking around one of the few hold abandoned houses left in the area. Once he found the page he wanted and started to skim the page. He knew the ritual would summon a succubus and he knew he shouldn’t summon it now that he had not had any interaction with the supernatural for a few years now but when he had read through the book he had not been able to get the idea out of his head. Setting down the book he slipped off his jacket and pushed up the arms of his long sleeved shirt revealing a few light scars that stood out against the tanned skin of his body. He rested one hand on the book and started to re-sight the spell as he used his other hand to mix the ingredients.
