Sitting at his large wooden dining room table, Robert went through the paperwork laid out before him. Long, lean facial features, with a square, clean-shaven jaw and thin lips drawn tight in a grim expression. His dark, heavy eyebrows were scrunched in concentration, blue eyes scanning the words on the page he held in his hand and thin, close cropped hair crowned his head and he ran a hand over it absentmindedly. Broad shoulders and buff muscular build were hidden by a relaxed white dress shirt, with black suit coat over top, and his 6 ft height was only emphasized by the way he sat, posture straight and a bit tense as he continued to go over his work. Black slacks completed the outfit and expensive dress shoes sat snugly on his feet, both planted on the ground beneath his chair.
A plate of eggs and half-eaten toast sat off to the side, growing cold from his lack of attention and a coffee mug rested close at hand and was almost empty of it's contents. The table itself stood grandly in the large room, upon four ornately carved lion legs, long and oval top shining flawlessly in the morning light floating through the dining room windows. The dining room was not overly furnished or rich, but held a sophisticated air about it, as did the rest of his large house.
Completely focused upon the business he had to attend to this morning, Robert made a notation in neat handwriting upon a well-used notepad, his golden plated pen winking and glistening as it waved back and forth quickly, making soft whispering noises upon the page. Nothing could draw him away from his responsibilities right now.
