Verisira was a little surprised when she walked into her room after her singing, dancing, and harp lessons to find a letter on her dresser addressed to her. She looked at the piece of paper for a moment, just wondering what it was, rather hoping it wasn't from one of the many sons of the various lords of the realm that were always trying to win her heart. Not that she really believed that it was her heart that they wanted, rather just her body and the throne. But no, luckily her parents weren't like others in the past making her marry as soon as she came of age... Then again, now that there were elves ruling the land there really wasn't too much of a need to do so was there? Her parents weren't worried about dying from age any time soon, and knew that their precious daughter would live even longer than they, so they decided it would be her decision as to who would be a suitable husband.

Curiosity tore through the young woman and she denied her first impulse to just rid herself of the paper without reading it first and opened it up. She quickly read the contents, rather shocked at what she was reading. She knew that their realm and that of the demons were at war, and had been for nigh on a decade now, and so was quite surprised to find that she was being personally written to by their princess. Not only that, but from the sound of it, she wanted to meet up and together try to end the war!

Verisira was quite shocked, but rather pleased at the possibility of ending this horrible war once and for all. The people would then always adore her and remember her as one of those responsible for bringing about their peace. Her name would live on beyond her own life and go down in stone. Verisira may not be the most ambitious person in the world, but she certainly did like the idea of everyone loving and respecting her for a better reason than just the fact that she was a princess.

She was told to meet her just outside the castle walls at twilight. She would be in disguise and they could talk there. This seemed to be the only thing that might even be slightly difficult, but it really shouldn't be too hard. She commonly walked out to mingle with the subjects in the town surrounding the castle, so it shouldn't be too hard... She just couldn't be caught sneaking out that late at night.

After dinner, Verisira went to her room to get changed. She loved her pretty dresses, but it would make things a bit difficult if someone found out that it was the princess walking out this late and not just one of the maids leaving to go home and visit her family. She put on her most common looking outfit that she had never really gotten the chance to wear yet and made her way to their rendezvous point.

She had to sneak around to get there, but finally she arrived where she had been told to wait in the letter. Now all that was left was to wait for the other to arrive and they could get their secret meeting underway.

Desira was the youngest of the demonic hiers to the throne having two sister and a brother so she wasn't even considering taking over her home land. So she spent her years praticing the art of war and magic. At the age of fifteen her father sent her off to help the front line of the elven war. For ten years she improved thier tatics and helped them advance closer to the castle, and soon she was promoted to the lead general of the army. as it came upon the tenth year of the war she realized that neither side was going to win this in the old fashion ways. And unlike the old generals she was able to come up with an indirect way to capture the royal family. For a month she sent a spy in as a refugee to learn the layout of the castle and get information on the royal family. She was pleased to find out that they only had one daughter which would be her target.

With the new information she wrote her letter to the princess planning out every detail and picked the perfect place to meet where there would be little interuptions from gaurds and plenty of dark spaces for her men to hide. Once all the preperations where done she came up with a plan to get herself into the capital, and to reduce suspition she had one of her comanders keep fighting as if she was still there. She waited for night fall before making her way to the catle. she wore a dark robe over her normal outfit. She reached the meeting point alittle early to make sure all her preperations were done and that her plan would go smoothly. Once all that was done shee ushered her men to hide and wait for the princess to come to her.

Verisira smiled as after just a minute or so of waiting she saw someone walking out to meet her. She might have been frightened for just a moment about a stranger walking up in a dark robe, but nobody ever really came where they were meeting, so there was little to no chance that it was anyone other than who she had come to meet.

The young elf gave a slight curtsy to the approaching figure in greeting. "Greetings. It is a great pleasure to meet you. I am Verisira. Am I wrong in believing that you are Ms. Desira? If not, then I am very excited about your idea to try and stop this war through diplomacy. Now... Shall we get discussions underway?"

Desira returned the gesture and removed her hood so the two of them could see each others face. "I'm glad you came her Ms.Verisira, I was starting to think you would show." Desira said softly hiding her true intentions as she got closer to her. "I am eager too." She added as she pulled a piece of paper out along with a pen and ink. The paper had some pre written words basic for most surrenders, all that had to be added was the agreement and thier signatures. "Now is thier anything you want for your people besides stoping the war.?"

Verisira looked on as Desira removed her hood. She was a little shocked at the woman's purple hair and eyes, but everything else look rather normal for the most part. Poor Verisira though unfortunately had never really had payed a great deal of attention in her history classes and didn't truly know what she was likely going to be agreeing to at the meeting. She just thought that an end to the war would help to end the suffering and wasn't thinking much about what might happen afterward.

"Well... I guess just so long as the war stops and everyone is treated as equals I can't really think of too much... Just an end to the fighting right?" She said, shrugging her shoulders slightly.

Desira smiled seeing how little the princess seemed to know about ending wars and what to included. But it didn't matter much seeing how this was never gonna become a finished treaty." Verry well then, simple treaties are always better for both sides.' she said as she walked up to the wall and began finishing the rest of the paper."There all done all it needs is a royal signature from both sides and we can send it out to our fathers." Desira said smiling as she handed Verisira the treaty and her pen. She told her men to wait until the she was busy signing and reading it over before they would come out of hiding and surround the girl.

Verisira nodded when Desira was talking as she wrote on the paper. Verisira of course at least knew enough to read what she was going to sign, but if the wording was vague she wouldn't be able to see through the loose ends that there may be thanks to her own poor wording. She waited patiently until Desira came over and handed her the pen and paper and immediately set about reading it. It took just a short time, and she wasn't really sure just what it all meant, but it seemed to look alright and she walked to the wall, pressing the paper against it while she signed her name.

Desira smiled as she watched her face the wall, giving her the perfect moment to spring her trap. she made a quick whistle calling her men to surround her. Six men came out from the shadows and circled around Verisira. "One second thought I think we need to change the terms of your surrender." Desira said waiting for her to turn around to see her trap."I want to make sure everyone will remember this."

Verisira was just finishing up writing her name when she suddenly heard a loud whistle and Desira starting to talk and she quickly turned around, shocked to find that they were no longer alone but that six others had joined them. Verisira's breath was suddenly caught in her breath and she couldn't seem to exhale, even to scream as she looked right at the woman who had apparently orchestrated this trap. The young elf couldn't seem to get any of her motor skills to work. The shock of turning around to sign a paper and turning back to find herself completely surrounded was just too much for the princess and she just stood there terrified, wondering what was coming next.

"hmm I thought you would have atleast screamed but no matter, I now have the key to winning." Desira said as she walked closer to her frightened prey, her fingers glowed a dark purple as she traced the outline of her neck causing a collar to appear around her neck." That looks good on you lets go see if your parents love it too." She said smiling as she moved her hand away form a chain leash. She couldn't believe that her plan was going so smoothly.

Verisira watched in horror as Desira came closer to her, her fingers suddenly starting to glow as the touched her neck. Suddenly, the elf felt something appear where she had touched squeezing tightly enough to cause a little bit of discomfort for her as she'd never worn anything like it before, but not enough to cause her to choke. Just as she saw a chain suddenly appear in the woman's hands she suddenly seemed to remember how to move and breath properly and she immediately began screaming at the top of her lungs for help as she made to run, not really caring where at the moment, just to get as far away from the other woman as possible.

Desira laughed as the princess finaly began to put up a fight agianest her, but it was too little too late. Her men blocked her as she began to run off. "I'm sorry Verisira but you're not escaping that easy." She said as she pulled on the chain bringing her closer to her agian. the six men surrounded them as she forced her to walk toward the main gate. "so how does it feel to be part of the downfall to your kingdom?"

Verisira pouted as she found her escape route blocked off by a few of the men. She guessed she didn't really believe that such a simple plan would work, especially since she knew that the chain Desira was holding must be connected to what was around her neck, but it felt nice to at least do something.

Her suspicions were confirmed as she felt herself being tugged forward by her neck almost right beside the woman 'pulling the strings' unable to believe that she'd been so trusting. This must be the reason people had always told her that you couldn't trust a demon. She had always thought it was just some silly superstition or phrase.

When they started moving towards the gates of the castle, tears began to fall down the young elf's cheeks for she knew that she was now little more than a bargaining chip, though while her parents loved her, she was getting very worried for she didn't know weather or not they would be willing to just go through with the woman's demands just for her. After all, they had a responsibility to the whole kingdom.

"Please! No! Stop this!" She pleaded as she felt the thing wrapped around her neck, trying to find a latch or a snap or anything else so she could remove it.

"Not a chance I've been waiting for this moment for five years now and i'm not going to let it pass by. Besides It's not my fault you willing came unarmed and now you and your kingdom have to pay for your stupidity." Desira said smiling as she saw the tears rolling down her face. She wasn't exactly sure how well her plan would go over with the king but it would atleast get her inside to see him. As they kept walking they could see the catle gate infront of them gaurded by a few men. Her plan was not to kill them but instead explain to them why she needed to see the king.

Verisira continued attempting to rid herself of the accursed collar around her neck that made her keep near the woman holding the other end of her leash, somewhat starting to understand what a caged animal must feel like. Yet more tears were falling down her face as she began to realize that weather or not her parents went along with the woman's terms, whatever they may be, to get her back, the ideas and hopes for what people would think of her in the future were now going to be very different as it was now seeming that she was going to be the downfall and not the savior of the kingdom.

"Give it up princess that collar is permant and the only way to is for me to undo it, and that's not going to happen anytime soon" Desira said as sent a smal shock down the chain to stop the elf from trying to get it off. They kept walking and stopped when they were infront of the gaurds. " Move aside, I have something i'm sure the king wants back." She said smiling as she showed them the princess.

Verisira gasped as she felt something a mild pain around her neck. Her hands instantly went to her collar, and while they were trying to get underneath it, for the moment it wasn't to try and remove it, but just to try and soothe the sensitive area.

As soon as the guards saw a group of demons approaching, they all unsheathed their blades and faced off at the group. Just as they were about to tell them to state their business, the woman in front made it clear what they were there for. The would have turned her away, or else attacked them then and their before they saw her pull forward their princess. Not wanting any trouble lest they cause any real harm to her, the leader signaled for them all to sheath their weapons, but to stay alert.

"Very well." He said. "Follow me. But don't get any funny ideas or you will all end up dead." With that, he walked inside, taking all but one of the guards with him, and swinging around to pick up even more before leading them to the meeting room and going to fetch the king.

"All right then but let me warn you that My life and the princess life are connect so ifi die she does." Desira said as she followed along with the gaurds holding Verisira even close to hear to make sure the elfs didn't try anything to steal her back. As they walked towards the castle she began to think over her plan thinking of anything that could go wrong and how to fix it. Eventualy the group came to the royal chambers showing the demons in to where the king was. Desira stood infront of himgiving him a half bow. "Good evening your magistrate, you have a lovely daughter too bad she wasn't educated very well." Desira said smiling showing him her daughter.
