Brandy smiled as she walked out of school on Friday. Today was her eighteenth birthday and she'd gotten a lot of positive feedback from her friends offering to take her into town over the weekend to go shopping in celebration. She'd had to tell them that it would have to wait though because she was going over to stay with Danielle for the weekend, though they might give them a call if they decide to go do anything interesting.
Brandy happily walked out to the car and drove to her house to grab herself some clothes and other basic needs for the night and headed once more out the door for the music store. Danielle had told her not to show up until around four thirty because she said she needed to clean up the place a bit and get some things ready. Her parents were out of town for the weekend, but she said that they would still freak out if anyone was over in a messy house, even if it was just Brandy.
After spending a little bit of time over at the store, talking with some of the employees, she went up to go purchase the last Nightwish CD missing from her collection. She then went to her car and made the short drive over to her friends house jamming to it before walking up to the house, her overnight bag slung over her shoulder and ringing the door, wondering just what Danielle had planned for them this weekend, but sure that it would probably be more of the same, mostly music, movies, gossip, and junk food.
