It was a normal day.....just like any other. My long time friend Mia had invited me over to her house in the woods. I had been there many times before...but I was always going up there with her, we never got lost on our way up, as children we were always told to stay on the path and never under any circumstantial..wonder off of it, so I was confident that I could navigate my way up to the house by myself.
The reason being I was going up there was not important right now. But some well needed R and R was totally needed for me. I had been working hard on a book about wolves about a year ago. It was a best seller, so I decided to take my efforts into making a book about creatures, I was thinking about putting even some more facts about wolves. But unfortunately I have been facing the one killer threat to a writer....writer's block. That's part of the reason Mia offered to bring me up here...the other was for us to have a chat about our live, and of course men.
Sad enough to say I've been so busy with my career that I have had no time to loose my virginity or have a boyfriend. I wasn't as fortunate as Mia to be born with a wonderful personality that drew men in like a siren. Men were always put off by my attraction to the strange and unusual, but I myself am..well..strange and unusual. But I guess that's what got me so far in my career..I guess there are not a lot of people like me who can see things in a different point of view. I always thought that was the problem for my generation. For some strange reason, growing up I found the company of an older person was very comforting and some what arousing at times, when it was a man that is.
I was on the path as usual, but suddenly saw something in the brush. Sense I thought I was close to the house...I might as well investigate. So thats just what I did. It was a stupid idea, I ended up getting lost for an hour. I did some how find some interesting animal tracks..but unfortunately for me they were a wolf's tracks. "Damn it...probably a pack of them wondering around for food." I sigh deeply..thinking today was just not my day, was it. Even worse I heard the sound of a wolf howling, which shook me to my very core. The reason being was the howl was not far away, but close by...too close. I tried to change directions and walked off away from the sound..but that didn't do me any good.
The next minute I found myself face to face with a wolf. I stood there..frozen in time itself. i was scared...then again who the hell wouldn't be. This must have been what it was like for little red riding hood. Except I didn't run to grandma's house, instead I stood my ground. Hoping it would just walk off and leave me be, but it didn't. It just stared at me, with these eyes...eyes that had a strange hint of lust.
