Jayde sat down at the table outside of the little cafe she visited every morning, sighing as she took note of the men who had been following her. No matter where she went, they were always there. She knew it was for her own protection, but she still hated the fact that every move she made was monitored and reported back to her father. Considering he was one of the biggest and most successful drug dealers in the city, he had a fairly large number of enemies. For his daughter's safety, he had men hired to follow her, keeping an eye on her every move. After awhile, she had gotten used to it, but as she got older, it was harder for her to deal with. After all, she was eighteen now, and she felt like she didn't need babysat every where she went.

When she was younger, she never really understood what her father did, but the older she grew, the more she grasped. No part of her approved of what he did, but still, he was her father and she loved him dearly. However, the two of them were in a bit of a rut. Apparently he had pissed some people off, and they had been making threats to him, and as a result, her father tightened down on her security. She just wanted to get out in the world and do what she wanted, but she was confined. Part of her felt like it was selfish of him to even bring her into this world if he was going to keep her under watch her entire life. Sighing, she began to sip on her coffee, trying to focus on something other than the hired body guards.

Luke had been following his target for quite a while. The daughter of a drug dealer, who was to be taken out. He had accepted the job, but only after a long time of arguing about how much he would be paid.

He had been standing behind her.. Pretending to be one of her bodyguards. It wasn't easy, killing one of her existing bodyguards and posing as the deadman, but it was worth it. "Miss Jayde?" he began, "Let me get you something. What would you like?" he asked, trying to seem like he genuinely wanted to help her out, but kept a close eye on the other bodyguards. He was suspecting that they were beginning to suspect him, for one reason or another, because of the fact he always wanted to be the one closest to Jayde.

She had been intently reading an article when his voice broke her concentration. What was up with this guy? None of the other body guards ever spoke to her unless she spoke to them first. Their job wasn't to interact with her, it was to protect her. She disliked them enough even when they kept her distance, and all this guy was going was irritating the hell out of her. Taking a deep breath, she tried to keep herself from raising her voice, not wanting to make a scene. "What I would like is for you to leave me the hell alone." She said calmly, focusing her attention back on the magazine.

In a way, she felt bad for being so rude, but it was just so frustrating. It was hard going about everyday knowing that every move she made was being watched. It was easier on her when they left her alone. They were always watching, but when they left her alone, it made it easier for her to pretend that they weren't there and that she was actually living a normal life. "Look, I'm sorry. Its just that.. I need some space." she said, hoping it would make up for her previous comment.

Luke nodded, "I know how you feel. But it's our job." he told the girl, before leaning in close, "I could, however, get the others away from you, and give you a moment alone, if you want." he whispered, trying hard not to be heard by the real bodyguards. "But you've got to trust me."

His plan was to get these pesky bodyguards away from his target. They made the job that much more tough. If he had to, he'd make it seem like the bodyguards were assassins, and try to earn Jayde's trust that way. To be the only one she trusted. That was his first goal. When that goal was met, then he could move on the playing around with her, then finally killing her.

She stared at him and then at the other two body guards who were lingering close by. "I don't know.." she said quietly. She liked the idea, but it just seemed too risky. Of course she would love to get away and have a moment to herself, but she could see things going badly. If the other guards somehow found out their plan and told her father, he would have Luke killed for putting her in danger. Also, he would put her on lockdown. She had tried in the past to escape her guards, and when her father found out, things didn't go over well. After a severe beating that left her almost unable to move, she was confined to her room for weeks, unable to go anywhere.

Luke put a finger to his lips, asking her to keep quiet about what he said. After a little while, he slowly walked behind one of the men, and started searching him. Pulling out a letter addressed to the man regarding his services in killing Jayde, Luke pretended to look shocked. "Oh my.. My hunch was right.. You're an assassin! You only want to kill Miss Jayde!" he had planted the letter earlier in the week, when the man had his uniform cleaned. "Fifteen thousand dollars.. You'd kill an innocent eight-teen year old for fifteen thousand dollars. You make me sick." he went on, reading the letter. It was actually his own with a few details changed, such as the name of the employer, and his name replaced with the bodyguard's own name. "And it says here that your evil employer has a man on the inside! This was well thought out, but not thought out enough!" he had added this, just to get the other bodyguard in trouble.

He hoped the bodyguards challenged him, that way he had an excuse to kill the 'traitors', and be alone with Jayden.

Jayde stopped talking as he motioned for her to be quiet, focusing her attention back to her magazine; or at least pretending to. If they other guards suspected something between the two, they would report it to her father. When Luke remained quiet, she just figured he had decided not to press his idea any further and had finally decided to leave her alone. Though part of her had wanted to get away, she just thought it would be far too risky.

Again, she became engrossed by the article she was reading. She had tuned everything else out until she heard the sound of Luke's voice. She turned around only to see him taking something from the one of the other guards. She stared intently, interested in what was going on, but as he continued to speak, she felt her stomach drop. Was he being serious? Or was this his plan to get her alone? She hoped it was all just an act, but as he began to read the letter, she thought it must have been true.

Before, she had never been in any kind of danger, but now, she was scared for her life. Someone had paid to have her killed. She stood up from her seat, taking a few steps back. Though she had hated the guards, she always felt safe with them, but not she felt the exact opposite. She slipped her hand into her pocket, trying to grab her phone without being noticed. She needed her father.

Luke fought back the urge to grin. He had succeeded in making the guards seem untrustworthy. Noticing one of them going to take out his gun, Luke took out his own gun, and ended up shooting the man before he could draw the gun. "..I'm not going to stand by and let you assholes kill her! However much you were paid, you've sealed your fate, letting me see the letter. Miss Jayde, tell your father about these.. Pieces of scum." he really was working hard not to blow his cover. His plan was going so well..

Shaking with fear, she stood behind Luke for protection, holding onto his arm. She dialed her fathers number, waiting impatiently for him to answer. As the gun went off, she screamed, burying her face into Luke's back as she held onto him tighter. To her dismay, the phone went to voicemail. Dropping the phone in frustration, she tugged on his arm. "I wanna go home." she practically begged, wanting to get away from the other 'guard'.

"I'll get you home." he told her, leading her away from the other guard, and back to the car they had come in. "And I'll make sure you're safe." This was, of course, just a lie. He was the assassin, and he definitely wasn't going to make sure she was safe. He was going to kill her. But not after 'playing' with her for a little while.

She clung to him tightly, afraid to let go. After all, he was the reason that was alive, or so she thought. Tears continued to stream down her face as she walked with him to the car. After this, she would be too scared to go anywhere. Now she suddenly understood why her father went through so much to keep her protected. "Thank you." she said quietly.

"It's fine. It's all part of my job." he told her. It technically was part of his job. It was part of his job to lie, afterall. Opening the passenger's side door for her, he walked around to the driver's side door, and got in, waiting for her to get in before starting the engine. "I'm Luke, by the way. I started working for your father just last week, so bare with me on the drive back. I don't quite know my way back." this was another one of his lies. He knew the way back to her father's house, but taking her back to her father's house would ruin his plan..

Jayde didn't suspect a thing. Why should she? It made sense, he was new after all, so she didn't even think twice when he said he didn't know his way back. "I can try and explain it to you, my sense of direction isn't exactly the best though." She never went anywhere on her own. She simply told the guards what she wanted to do or where she wanted to go, and they drove her there. She never had to worry about remembering how to get there.

"No, I'll try and get there on my own." Luke replied, as he started the engine. Instead of heading to Jayde's father's house, he headed to his own house. "Ach.. Sorry about that. I thought I was going home for the day.. Would you like to come in? You could call your dad from my landline." he sighed when they arrived, adding to his facade. His landline was broken, on purpose, but he wouldn't let her know that.

She didn't really pay attention to where he was going as he drove, but as he pulled down an unfamiliar road, she looked at him strangely. "Um.. I think you're going the wrong way." Before she knew it, they were at his own house. She felt a bit weary about going in, but she told herself she was just being paranoid from before. She didn't have any reason not to trust Luke. After all, he had saved her. "Yeah, ok." she said, getting out of the car and following him inside.

Nodding, he got out of the car, locked it when Jayde got out. When they arrived, Luke pretended to fumble with his keys, but was really preparing a taser. Finally unlocking the door, he opened it and stood back, allowing her to enter first. "Ladies first." he laughed, trying to seem like your friendly average guy.

Jayde looked around as they walked up to the door, taking in the things around her. She'd never been to this neighborhood before. "Thanks." she said smiling as she walked inside. Once she walked in, she turned to face him, waiting for him to step inside. Once he did, she wrapped her arms around him, hugging him tightly. She pulled back after a moment, a slight blush on her face. "I just wanted to apologize for how I acted earlier this morning.. I feel so bad about it after everything you did for me."

Luke shrugged, "Eh, it happens." he told her, locking the door behind him. "Do you want to know how I knew about the note in the guard's pocket? And how I knew he was a paid assassin? And why I asked if you wanted some time alone?" he asked, a rather dark smile creeping onto his face as he pulled out the taser. "Because I planted the note. He wasn't an assassin.." he laughed for a few seconds, wrapping his free arm around her, and leaning in close, to whisper into her ear..

"..I'm the assassin. I wanted you alone.. And you've gone along with my plan, presenting yourself to me on a plate. Now.. I might spare you, if you do a few things for me.."

She stared at him strangely as he locked the door, noting the change of expression on his face. "Um.. sure." she said in response to his questions, suddenly feeling a little uncomfortable. She froze, staring at him in shock. If he wasn't an assassin, then why go through all that trouble? She pulled back from him as soon as the words left his mouth. How could this have happened? She quickly looked around, trying to find some way to get passed him. "No.." she said quietly, stepping to the side and running to the door, fumbling with the lock.

"There's no way out. Sorry, y'little bitch." Luke's 'nice guy' persona had disappeared. "Unless you do as I say, you're going to not only be a bitch, you'll be a dead bitch. And don't bother using the 'phones to try to call your father. I had the house made so that you get absolutely no signal." he laughed, before trying to knock her to the ground.

Jayde cried out as he pushed her to the ground, unsure of what to do. She had never imagined something like this would happen. Looking up at him helplessly, she tried to plead with him. "P-please.. you don't even know me." she said quietly, tears in her eyes. Why was he after her? Shouldn't it have been her father he should be wanting to kill? She hadn't done anything to deserve this, why would he want her dead?

"It's nothing personal. I just got the job to kill you, instead of your father, if you're wondering. My client was very very specific. It was to show that he had power, not your father. Power over what, I don't know." Luke kneeled down, turning off the taser. "Although, if you're a good girl, I'll let you go, unharmed." his face went blank for a little while, as he put away the taser and moved closer to her. "I'm not going to kill you.. Yet. I want to have a little.. fun with you first."

What kind of person was he? How could he be so cruel as to kill an innocent girl? As much as she wished she to share her thoughts, she knew that her life was is in his hands, and upsetting him would not be in her favor. 'Define good..' she thought to herself. "You'll let me go.. home?" she asked, a hint of hope in her voice. Fun with her first.. "What do you mean first?" she asked, confusion in her voice. Was he still going to kill her afterwards?

"If you have anything to say, say it now.. And as far as 'first' goes, it depends on how well you do. If you're good, you go home quickly. If not.. Then I'll have to go through with what my client wants, and have to kill you. Which would be a real shame." he replied, with a sly smirk. Unzipping his pants, he laughed. "Do you see what I want to do to you first?" he asked, bringing out his cock.

The tears began to flow at the thought of her going through with this and still getting killed. How could he do that to her? If he would've been anyone else, she would've been turned on. It wasn't often that she was able to partake in these kind of activities, especially after being watched so often. She was sexually frustrated to say the least, but still, she couldn't find it in her to want to please this man. The man who was going to kill her. She shook her head slightly, trying to act innocent, hoping he would pity her and let her off easy.
