Emma knew she should continue to fight the oncoming wave of drowsiness. To take up another energy drink. Lately her dreams, even those brief day dreams seem to becoming on much more frequently, and each one more intense. Her body still ached from the last encounter with some creature. Something from the realm of nightmares. A creature far larger then she was, nor should her human body endure. Yet she lived and breathed for another day. She brought up a slender hand, to attempt to stifle a yawn that stretch her small mouth wide. Her blue eyes batted as she stared at the commercial on t.v Her eyes slowly dropping, as she knew well she would lose this coming battle.
Grumbling she brushed away her thick brown hair, sending it tumbling down the length of her back, to stop at the base of her back, right above that underwear clad bottom. She stood, swaying on her feet. Her overly large shirt dangling over her curvy yet slender body. It was then she lost. Her eyes falling shut , fanning raven black lashes across the gentle rise of her cheeks.
She woke, in a dream like trance. A forest? Her eyes shifted to the expanse of a darkening sky. She stepped froward. Feeling the thick cushion of moss, her eyes looked to her bare feet. And give her toes a small wiggle. She wondered if she should worry, Nothing was here yet. Nothing stalking her from the shadows. Or at least from what she could tell. She didn't see nor hear anything. But it was a dream after all. It could be as silent as it wished. Though many had not been so subtle. But didn't mean there wasn't a first.
