Melody had had a rough day at work. She was kept up by her latest project, and knew she wasn't going to be paid overtime for it, but it was basically finished now, so she could finally relax. She had herself a glass of wine with her late take-out dinner and then changed into her red nightgown, radiant against her tan, freckled skin. She let down her long chestnut waves and set her alarm clock. Her short, slightly muscular body seemed to feel weakened by everything, and she collapsed onto her green bed, barely making it under the covers before she fell into a deep sleep.
Her dream world was comforting. She was in an empty field of flowers, all her favorites, and she was taking in the scents and feeling free from the day. She was naked, yet her skin wasn't getting dirty at all. It was just her being one with nature, and she loved it. It was exactly what she needed: a vacation from her life. She just wished she had someone she could share it with, to feel free with. She laid back onto the grass and looked up at the rose-colored sky, enjoying the lavender clouds as they passed.
