Zuri stood at the border to the Werewolf territory, her wings quivering slightly. She had decided to use her full succubus form, hoping to warn off any who thought of attacking. Behind Zuri, her sister Andromeda (who looked almost identical to Zuri), and her best friend Io, stood in their succubus form too.
Zuri knew that as soon as she crossed the territory marker, she would be faced with whatever werewolves they had on guard, and they would kill first, ask questions later, so she hung back. So enough, her scent would call to any male in a 100 mile radius.
Io tapped her foot impaitently behind Zuri. Zuri knew why she didn't want to be here. Io had been visiting the vampire territory every single day for the past week, but Zuri wasn't about to stop her. Io may well be the tie that she needed to form an alliance with the vampires. It was really the werewolves and humans Zuri worried about. Humans were normally easily led by creatures like herself, but werewolves relied more on their animal instincts, which probably warned them about succubi like herself.
Either way, Zuri braced herself for the confrontation that was about to take place.

Darian had caught the scent of the succubi when they got to where they were, though he ordered everyone to stay back. He sensed only three of them, from what he could tell. And he didn't think they'd be here for attacking, possibly, but moreover for reconnaissance. If there was no danger of attack, he didn't want to spill any unnecessary blood. So he ordered everyone else to stay back while he went out to confront them, alone. He was more than enough for some simple succubi.

Transforming into his Werewolf form, Darian grabbed his two stone slabs that he called swords and went out to confront them, though he had his swords sheathed onto his back to present a non-threatening form to him, though the reason he was in his werewolf form was so that he would not be caught entirely off guard. He approached them, standing about thirty feet away. "What is it that you two want? Do you not know that this is the territory of the werewolves? You've been here for a while and I have grown uncomfortable to your presence here. State your business!"

Zuri felt a feral growl rise in her throat, but pushed the urge down. Him being in his werewolf form didn't surprize her. She heard Andromeda and Io shuffle their feet into an aggresive pose, but she put up her hands to show peace.
"My means are simple. Winter is upon us, and we have no means of food left. All we ask is for a small part of your territory. It is known that the wolves have the most bountiful of the land." She added with the beginnings of a snarl.

"You ask for a lot of us, just asking for land? You are going to need to do more than that." He looked to the two girls that accompanied her and made sure they didn't try anything funny. In his werewolf form, he would be completely unaffected by any of their lustful tricks placed on him, however in his human form, he would be like any other human...except much stronger. "You ask us for land, yet you do not even bring an offering. Did you expect me to just hand land over to you without gaining anything whatsoever in return?"

Zuri narrowed her eyes. "Of course we would return the land in full when winter passed, though land isn't really a concern for you, is it?"
She could feel Andromeda and Io trying to lure the wolf with their lust powers, but the instinctual sheild put up by his animal form made it impossible to suduce him with tricks.
"What are you suggesting?" Zuri pressed.

"Come to me with a proposal of sorts, if you want our land temporarily, then we must take something of yours temporarily. You have earned no favors from us, succubi. Now then. Unless you have something of use to us, then get out of here and do not return. I will not be so nice. I am not one for mindless bloodshed but if it is to protect my people then I will not hesitate." Darian turned into his human form and turned away from them, so long as he was not staring at them directly, his human form would be unaffected...mostly. But he was not concerned that they would attack him. If they did, they'd lose all hope of gaining the land they wanted unless they fought the werewolves in a political battle for it.

Zuri scowled. "Wait!" She cried. She knew it was risky, and she knew it could all go wrong, but she had an idea, something to help her people. "You said yourself that you are not one for mindless bloodshed. What if . . . what if we give you something that will ensure that?" Zuri knew she was grasping at straws, but this was a deal she was willing to make.

Darian stopped in his tracks when she told him to wait, and he transformed into his werewolf form and turned to them. Walking back over, he stood closer to them now, a mere seven feet away as he crossed his arms and glared. "Oh? And what is it exactly that you are going to give that will ensure there will be no more mindless bloodshed?" He let his arms hang now but he was still cautious of them.

Zuri swallowed. "The same thing we use ourselves to keep predetors away. Power." It was true. The Succubi and Incubi used mental powers to ward off any who tried to enter their territory without permission. The Succubi had old, powerful ways in their clan, and used them frequently.

"I care not for power. We werewolves are walking tanks. Why do you think we own most of this crater we inhabit?" He shook his head. "Perhaps we can work out another deal. Temporarily you may have a portion of our land to gather fruits and vegetables from, so long as your people keep it cultivated, and..." He looked to the two of them and pointed to Andromeda. "She comes with me as collateral for the entire winter."

Andromeda looked at the wolf. "I accept."
Zuri growled slightly. "Sister, it is not your bargain to accept."
"Isn't it?" Andromeda demanded. "It is my fate and I shall decide." She crossed the border, feeling a slight chill as she did. "Farewell sister."
Zuri turned on her heel, angry. "We expect a section of your territory unmarked by morning." She warned as she walked away.

The wolf nodded and transformed into a human, not thinking that Andromeda would go against the deal for it was for her people. "Come now, girl. We must make way to the territory together otherwise you'll be slaughtered if you get too close." He walked with her back to the werewolf settlement, walking her in and announcing to his people of the deal he had made. No one went against Darian. He was the strongest of all werewolves and thats why he was the leader. Taking Andromeda into his house, he sat down in a nearby chair. "Make yourself at home, succubus. You're going to be living here for three months."

Andromeda dropped her succubus form. "Thank you." She replied curtly and sarcastically. "Hard to make it seem like home when you have the threat of slaughter hanging over your head." She muttered to herself as she examined the house.

"The threat of slaughter is only hung over your head so long as your succubi friends hold their end of the deal and give us back our land when the winter is over with. Then you may go just as you came, unharmed." Standing up, Darian went to his bed that was nearby. The house one a one-room, most houses in the Crater were make-shift from whatever materials that could be found in the territories that each clan held. "Now get some rest or some food. You may sleep in my bed if you wish but it is not required. So long as you stay within the werewolf territory, I don't care what you do."

Andromeda blinked. "You're serious?" She found it difficult to believe that anyone would just, let her do as she pleased. She sat on the bed, surprized yet again by how different her expectations were of the werewolf clan. "Why did you ask for me then?" She asked with genuine confusion. She was accoustomed to hostages, the Incubi took vampires and humans almost daily, but their uses were different. Often, human women never left.

"You look just like the one who was demanding orders. I took you for a sister or a daughter. If that were the case, then the one demanding orders would have no choice but to cooperate with us and return our land if she wanted her relative to come back safe and sound. I care not for what you do. But unlike my others, if it were someone else who had been to your group, you all would have probably been enslaved if not killed and would have become sex slaves. Especially you succubi. Now just don't cause trouble and you won't be in any trouble. Got it?"

Andromeda nodded stiffly. Somehow, she thought maybe she was . . . different? Now that she thought about it, it seemed stupid, but she had actually thought she had been special. She knew that she was different to others of her kind. They prefered to prey on men before trusting them. The humans were little more than playthings to them. Andromeda had never been interested in a 'pet' (as Io called them). She was nothing like the others.
She stood, deciding on roaming the territory for a bit, hopefully eating. Only she had no idea where to find the flesh and blood she needed. "Where is the best place for hunting?" She asked politely.

"The best place for hunting is out in the hunting grounds. Just go ask around to see where it is. You will need an escort as I still do not trust you will...Gah god dammit I might as well go." He stood up and stretched before walking over to her. "Come. Follow me." He turned and left the house, going out towards a small trail in the forest that would eventually stop out of nowhere. "Go and hunt to what you will eat. Do not overhunt. At all. Got it?"

Andromeda rolled her eyes. "How stupid do you think I am!? Everyone knows not to overhunt in winter!" She walked beside him, fuming. Her human form was incapable of smelling energy and blood, so she shifted casually into her succubus form, the raw scents of the forest coming as a blow to her after being held in her human body. Her hunger became much more apparent as she was exposed to prey, and her stomach gave an embarressing rumble. To hide her blush, she ran forward a bit, letting her senses carry her.

Darian sighed and held his head with one hand. "This is going to be one long winter...I can already tell...

During one of his hunts in the neutral area of the Crater, Nathan (Avatar) strolls about with his crossbow, looking for wildlife to hunt and take back to his village. Humans were an abundance in the Crater, and were often picked on for food and other things by other races...though that did not make them the weakest race in the slightest. Whilst hunting, Nathan suddenly saw two succubi walking along the woods and he took cover, glaring at them as he waited for them to pass by, but noticed one of them was Zuri. "Great...Its her...Dammit..." They did not have the best reputation ever, Nathan and Zuri.

Zuri stopped and sniffed the air.
Io turned. "What is it?" She could scent human, but no one person in particular.
"You go on ahead." Zuri insisted. "I'll catch up."
Io pouted, misreading Zuri's request. "Are you going to have him all to yourself?" Before Zuri could answer, Io winked. "Don't keep me waiting too long."
She moved on through the trees and Zuri folded her arms. "You've got some nerve coming this close to the Succubi and Incubi border." Zuri growled.

"It seems you've sensed me." Nathan didn't bother hiding anymore and stepped out, holding his hands up as if he was saying he was not attacking. "My apologies Zuri. I guess I strayed too far from the path I was taking. I was hunting wildlife in the neutral grounds and it seemed I must have taken a wrong turn somewhere." He snickered a bit and put his hands down to cross over his arms. "So why did you send Io away, hm? I would have expected the two of you to attack me for being so close."

Zuri smirked. "Io wouldn't just attack you, and you know that full well. Consider it a . . . favour, of sorts." She eyed his crossbow. "Anyway, I have some personal matters I want to talk to you about without Io listening. She's a good friend, but not the best with secrets." Zuri's voice turned highly seductive, her charm laying on. It may not have worked on the leader of werewolves, but it was bond to work on a simple human, simple in Zuri's mind.

Nathan could feel her start to lay her charm on and he made sure not to give in so easily...though like other humans, even he was able to be allured by a succubus...even if it was more difficult for him to become allured than most other humans. He bit his lip as he glared at her and made sure that his crossbow was just an ease away from grabbing and firing if things got too hasty. "Fine...What is it do you want to talk about, hm?"

"Land." Zuri said simply, taking a step towards him, without letting her attention drop from the crossbow. "But not just land. About many other things that can't be discussed here. Things like . . ." She let a sly smile creep onto her lips. "Like my needs." She had to admit, it was obvious, but she needed inside ties on the human clan. Every other succumbus she had sent to fufill this task ended up bring the human back for themselves, for feeding and sexual needs. Zuri had decided to take matters into her own hands.
