Suddenly Rebecca was shoved up on the stage as she turned to glare at the.sellers. She wanted to fight back, but she had power draining cuffs around her hands. Her wings were out and they were big white wings as the sellers spoke of her.

"We just caught this rare angel out in the forest, and man is she a feisty one
. She put up quite a fight, the starting bid is $100 since she is such a rarity."

Rebecca glanced up, she had a streak of blood running down her alabaster skin, and her long, wavy black hair fell down to her waist in damp curls, she had tried to run and fell into a river. Her golden eyes with silver rims stared out at the crowd of howling and bidding creatures of the night. Her white silk gown was torn a bit and clung.to her skin from being wet. She struggled against the handcuffs as she glared at the.bunch of them, making bids on her each on slightly higher than the last.

Adan couldn't help himself when he saw the angel up for auction: he had to have her. Adan was a demon: he stood at six feet tall with black hair and glowing red eyes. He appeared much more human than the rest of the crowd, although he still had a pair of horns growing out of his forehead, a pair of black, bat-like wings growing out of his back and a long lizard tail that whipped lazily back and forth as he bid. Adan was a high-ranking demon and he knew that having a pet angel would be a wonderful status symbol.

When all was said and done, Adan had outbid everyone else at the auction. A heavy metal collar was fastened around Rebecca's neck and the chain that as attached to it was handed to Adan, who lead her away from the crowd and toward the parking lot.

"You know," he remarked as he walked, "you're pretty cute for an angel. I think you'll find that you were lucky that I snapped you up; most of the other creatures in that crowd would have just eaten you or tortured you or something. I, on the other hand, plan on turning you into a demure little pet to keep me company. Oh, don't give me that look: you'll love it. You'll be fed, washed, cared for, heck, you might even have your own wardrobe. Of course, you'll have to behave, otherwise I'll have to punish you."

Rebecca tried to back away from the collar, but a seller grabbed her and they snapped it around her neck, as they undid her hands. She rubbed at her wrists, but also found that the collar drained most of her powers. "Wow their really taking precautions." She thought to herself, and then smirked, she had wacked one of them hard on the head, it was worth it.

Then her eyes focused on the hand taking it and she tried to tug away as she was led out into the parking lot. She had been bought by a demon, she could see the horns, and the wings. She glared at him, but followed him anyway as she mumbled. "Just wait until you take this collar off me then we'll see."

She kept watching him as she reached up with her, now freed, hands and started wringing out her damp hair.

"With an attitude like that, the collar might never come off," said Adan, leading Rebecca to his car.

He opened the back door and pushed the angel inside, casting a quick spell to keep her inside the car until he let her out. He then walked around to the driver's door and got in, his wings folding in upon his body until they vanished. He started up the car and drove off, heading for home.

"This could be easy, you know," he said, looking at his prize in the rear view mirror. "Just behave and I'll treat you well: I may be a demon, but I'm bound to my word when I give it. Just be a demure, obedient little pet and I'll give you everything you could possibly want. It couldn't be simpler!"

Rebecca gritted her teeth and got into the car reluctantly. She tried to open the door after getting in and found it to.be locked up tight. "Oh?" She asked, feeling a bit relieved until he said be a pet. She wasn't going to be a pet, especially to a demon, but she feared she may have no choice.

Her brow furrowed and before she could stop herself she said, "Never in your dreams." She slapped a hand over her mouth and the other hand reached up and tugged at the collar as if trying to tug it off.

Adan sighed. It looked like she wanted to do this the hard way.

"That's fine," he said, forcing a smile. "I can just keep asking until you say yes. Besides, I think you'd do well to have a taste of what it's like if you make life hard for yourself. I was going to give you a nice dinner and everything when we got home, but I think you can go hungry tonight." He glanced up at her through the rear view mirror once more to gauge her reaction. "Then again, I could be convinced to feed you after all if you behave yourself."

Rebecca's eyes widened a bit, and she folded her hands across her chest. Her voice wavered a bit as she murmured, "I can go without dinner tonight." She looked around the car, as she bit her tongue in thought. Maybe she would just behave.

"Fine by me," said Adan.

He drove until he reached his apartment complex, parked in the basement garage and let Rebecca out of the car, making sure to keep a firm hold of her leash. He lead her over to the elevator and hit the top button, taking them to the penthouse. Once inside, he cast another ward that would prevent the angel from exiting the apartment.

"This is your new home," he said, gesturing at the lush accommodations. "Of course, how much you'll actually enjoy it is up to you. If you keep going like you are right now, you'll find yourself sleeping on the kitchen floor."

Rebecca looked around longingly at the lush furniture, then glanced down as she pondered what to do. She looked up as she swallowed hard and took a deep breath then she said, "fine I'll be your obedient pet."

She stuck out her chin a bit stubbornly but realizing it was probably not a good idea to do that she tucked her chin back in.
